Flot hotel - centralt beliggende - venlig og professionel betjening - god mad - høj standard.

Stayed 2 nights in the mountain view side which was not a disappointment, although fog covers the mountain mostly. Bed very comfy. Staff most obliging. Price very reasonable for the quality you receive. Not sure how the nearby more expensive hotels can justify it. No free WiFi though!!!

while the location was excellent, the rooms are tired and in need of renovation.The rooms are very clean and the staff were helpful, however for the price of the room the carpet was worn and only half the bathroom was renovated.

The Grand Chancellor is definitely a 5 star hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and efficient. Room was more than comfortable with 2 x double beds and a bathroom fit for a Queen. It is only a quick 5 minute walk to the shopping district or the harbour and Salamanca Place (10 min walk) is full of wonderful restaurants and bars. On behalf of both my husband, including two other siblings, partners and grand children who all were booked into the hotel, as recommended by us, all enjoyed our stay. The Christmas Dinner was exellent and we all felt very relaxed and not presured to leave as there was another sitting after us. Fantasic. Staff great. I only have one slight issue. Both […] my huband and myself have stayed at the hotel for the 3rd time and this time we booked for 10 nights and we were given the room we requested. Lovely room. I felt for the 10 nights we were there I believe the room could have been cleaned more thoroughly at least twice in that time. The reason being it became very dusty and certain areas not cleaned properly with a lot of dust everywhere, hair and fluff. Short term stay I can understand, however, I clean my own home once a week. I know it was over the Public Holiday time but once at least to clean the bedside cabinets etc and vacuum and mop the bathroom/toilet area. This small issue will still not deter us from staying with you in the future and will certainly recommend others to stay. Staff great and very obliging. Læs mere

We had a very enjoyable two night stay. The hotel was very convenient with a stunning view. We were able to check in early (10 a.m.) which was great.

Although our rooms were upgraded to harbourview the first 2 nights were not so satisfied because it was on tenth floor and in front of the room is the gravel level. The beddings and toilet facilities are too old. However, upon our request, were very thankful that we were given another room on the 18th level for the next 2 nights .This refurbished room […] is much improved with new beddings and the toilet upgraded with better shower and basin. well done, although can be improved! This hotel was not only a great place to stay, also conveniently located right next to the waterfront restaurant precinct. Recently refurbished room was great value for money.

Excellent location next to harbour and close to all major amenities - restaurants, shopping etc.. Booked breakfast at very reasonable rate which was fortunate as would have been a walk to nearest cafes. Underground parking good and very reasonable.

I was slightly apprehensive about this hotel when I booked it, because it seemed a little too obvious -- it's not a "boutique" or an "art" hotel; the pictures on the website are a bit too picture-perfect, etc. I have to say, my experience was really good, proving that sometimes the obvious choice is a good choice. Service was pleasant and efficient. […] The rooms were comfortable and clean. There were amazing views of the water from almost everywhere we were in the hotel, and everything was close by. I had a great stay at this hotel in the centre of Hobart, right opposite the harbour so very close to restaurants, a nice after dinner walk and with a great view of the harbour from the front of the hotel. The room was very comfortable, just showing a few signs of age (heating system, TV). My only issue would be the in room internet access which although […] works very well, is very expensive, offering a 24 hour minimum or 7 days access only. We stayed at the hotel in October after reading a review calling it the 'ugly' hotel. It is a beautiful, modern, centrally located facility within walking distance of most places of interest in hte harbor district. Staff were friendly and helpful and internet access was fast and reasonably priced. The room was roomy and the bed comfortable.

Bon hôtel, bonne vue, mais Internet à 30 Dollards avec limite à 300MB c'est excessif.

シーサイドの眺めがとてもよかったです。周りのレストランが９時でオーダーストップしてしまうので、ルームサービスが役に立ちました。大変おいしくいただきましたが、できればメインにパンなどが選べると助かります。 部屋は清潔で、アメニティもそろっていました。

Litt gammelt og stille hotell, men det var helt greit å bo på når man skal ha Hobart som utgangspunkt. Vi hadde et "harbour view" rom som hadde plass til to voksne og to barn. De tar godt betalt for internett og parkering. Dyrt! Det enbefales å spise frokost andre steder, f.eks på Jackmann & McRoss på Battery Point
