Hotellet var godt, og lå midt i den gamle bydel, kunne ikke være bedre til den pris.

Vi havde kun en aften i Nürnberg og dette hotel fandt vi via Hotels.com til en yderst rimelig pris. Det var virkeligt vores held. Virkelig god oplevelse. Lækkert hotel, god service, perfekt placering, dejlig morgenmad. Det kunne have været bedre.

Great hotel, right in the middle of town, nice and clean, great jacuzzi and sauna in the basement, friendly staff, good breakfast.

Hard to find. Parking a few blocks away but GREAT city to walk in. This hotel is right in the old city. Breakfast was not worth the money. The bad, there was one comforter on the bed and it was a twin-full with a queen bed.

The hotel was exactly what we wanted.

The Agneshof is on a quiet side street just steps away from all the scenic Nuernberg old town sights. The rooms are clean a bit utilitarian, but the staff is always cordial and helpful. The breakfast is always very good as well. I have stayed here several times and the value is excellent and the location is steps away from wonderful restaurants, pubs […] and shops. This place was very nice German Hotel - breakfast was 7E extra and was a good spread. Internet was in the room and free; but you get what you pay for (very slow). Location: half way between castle and the Fountain Square but it was a HIKE to the UBAHN station (subway) but if you want to stay right in old city -, it was pretty good. This hotel is located WITHIN the walled city of old Nuremberg. It is a wonderful hotel, staff and location. My only difficulty was that, since we were traveling by train, the train station - located across the street from the main gate of the walled portion of the city - is on the diametrically opposite side of city from the hotel. So, on a recommendation, […] we dragged our luggage ACROSS the city (with all of its cobblestones) to the hotel. INSTEAD: Hire a taxi from the train station! It's worth it! (We were there 2 days before Christmas for the Christmas market! So, all the open spaces were filled with Market stalls.) The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms, although somewhat small, are clean and nicely furnished. Even with the holiday, the staff was willing to prepare food in the evening for guests (for a charge). The additional charge for the breakfast is well worth the cost (under 10 Euros). Plentiful and varied, it was really a wonderful way to start out a day of touring. Stay at Sorat Agneshof Nuremberg! very nice hotel with friendly staff. We visited for the Christmas markets and the location was ideal. We were room only but breakfast for 7 euros each was very good value - great selection. Good selection of toiletries too which were always replaced. Would have no hesitation in going back.

I reserved a single room with bath and tab. But there was no tab. Wall is very thin, very noisy. Even so, very good location, very kind staffs.

When I booked this hotel I was a bit confused by the reviews and wasn't certain how close it was to the Christkindlmarkt. However, upon arriving I couldn't have been happier with the location. The staff is very efficient and competent, and they speak very good English. The hotel is within the walls of the Old City and fits into its surroundings perfectly. […] The rooms are clean and comfortable and the bathrooms are the largest that I have had in Western Europe. Breakfast was a reasonable 7 euros. The only challenge was with parking but it was my fault that I got lost driving to the parking garage. What should have been a 3 block drive ended up being an ordeal, as I make the wrong turn and ended up outside of the walls of the Old City. Once I made my way back in and found the garage everything else was perfect. Parking in the garage overnight was 13 euros. The hotel does have a small parking lot but a car that is taller than 1 1/2 meters can't make it inside. The next time I return to Nuremberg I will definitely stay here. Læs mere

Luxury this is not: the bathrooms are tiny. But the rooms are decently sized overall, and the beds are comfortable and the bedlinen is crisp cotton. Proper double beds -although single duvets, which seems typical in Germany. Reception staff could not have been more efficient or more helpful, and the hotel is halfway between the Hauptmarkt and the Kaiserburg, […] and no more than 5 minutes from both. Good accommodation and good breakfast. 4th floor accommodation means carrying bags up one floor from the 3rd floor. Room was a little warm with no air conditioning. First class position within the city walls. We would be happy to stay their aggain

The hotel is in a good location, but a little hard to find. Thank goodness for GPS! If you're sensitive to the smell of smoke in a non-smoking floor, this might bug you. Our room was clean with a really nice bathroom, but the room still smelled very musty, maybe from the carpet? Limited TV access (had to pay for some channels?) and pay for internet. […] Breakfast was not included. Læs mere

I only stayed in Nuremberg one night but had a great time. The hotel was located in a great spot for walkign around the city. The room was very basic but clean and free wifi was provided. For a solo traveler on a short stay it had everything I needed for a great price.

Traveling to Germany for a convention. Hotel was a few blocks fom the U-Bahn, good restaurants near by, very quiet and the staff was very helpful. I would stay in the same hotel for future conventions.

Within the old city walls, this hotel is tucked away in one of the beuatiful side streets. Bursting with Franconian charm, its location is perfect for staying in the centre of Nuremburg on a budget. It may be a three star hotel but the facilities offer a higher class service. Highly recommended.

Firstly, the hotel is situated in the heart of the Old CIty. This means that most of the historical sights one wants to see is within walking distance. The atmosphere of the Old CIty is great and I would recommend staying there if history and culture is what your in to. If you want to go somewhere else, however, the hotel is approximately ten minutes […] walk from the nearest underground. Being in the Old City, the hotel is also very old and one can see this in the rooms as well. Rooms are really very small, even small by European standards. The wifi in the rooms is also quite slow. Enough for browsing, but not for much else. Still, the staff are very friendly and can speak English well. There's a bar on the first floor and also a very nice bubble bath and saunas on the basement floor. The hotel breakfast is also very nice. So all in all, not a bad experience, but I just felt that we should have gotten more for the price we paid in terms of room quality and size. My recommendation would definitely be to stay there if you'll be spending a lot of time in the Old Town, but if you're main purpose lies in the rest of the city, rather look for another hotel. Nice Hotel, great location and central for everything in the town. Room was small & compact but it had everything. Breakfast is a must, only downside is the Hotel doesn’t do evening meals but this is not a problem in Nuremburg with ample restaurants. If you are interested in visiting the Nuremberg Alt Stadt (old city) then the Sorat Agneshof is a great place to stay. It is a smaller but very clean and friendly hotel for those who want good value for money but dont need all the expense and room service of a 5 star hotel. The staff are helpful and the location is good.

Trying to sleep in on Saturday and the cleaning crew would not stop knocking on my door. There was no "Do Not Disturb" sign to hang either. At approximately 11am, the staff just decided to unlock my door while I was changing without even knocking. I had to yell them to close the door. I found this hotel to be a very good value for the low price paid on Hotels.com. It is conveniently located to all of the amenities that a traveler needs and was a short walk to stores, pubs, cafes and night life. You have to budget some time to just walk around and enjoy all of the quaint shops surrounding this hotel. It isn't the easiest location […] to find if you are self driving, and there isn't much room for parking directly at the hotel. If you are arriving by cab, make sure and print out the address and map to make it easier for the cab driver. Most cabs have GPS, so if you can give them the correct address, they will get you there. It was a short five-ten minute drive depending upon time of day and traffic and less then twenty Euro cab ride from airport. Læs mere

The hotel and staff and very friendly, the rooms and the hotel in general are very clean. The breakfast buffet is typically continantal. The only small issue was that there was no evening resteraunt. This is a small hotel (3 stories) on a narrow street in Nürnberg. The hotel is within a few minutes walking distance to all of the major sights in Nürnberg. One direction you have the castle, and the other you have the town square, churches, etc. If you arrive by car, you must go to the hotel website and e-mail the hotel with your reservation information […] and inform them that you are arriving by car. They have a limited number of parking spaces. I had a small compact rental car (Hyundai i10), but it was still too tall for the parking garage; but there are 2 parking spots in front of the hotel for "tall" cars (more than 1.5 meters). You may have a problem if both of these spots are taken. I had already e-mailed the hotel, and I parked the car and did not need it for the entire stay in Nürnberg (2 nights). There is a small charge for each night of parking. The rooms are small, but this is not unusual for quaint German towns. My wife and I were able to fit our 2 good-sized pieces of luggage in the room and still have plenty of space to move around. The shower and bathroom was a decent size. There is a strange frosted glass window in the bathroom looking into the bedroom, so you have a nice view when using the toilet. Definitely a design fail. There is no air conditioning in this hotel, which you might want to consider if you are traveling from June-August. Also, since the front of the hotel faces a very narrow street, if you have a street view room (which we did), then there is not much of a breeze. There are residences immediately outside your window, so if you are shy, you might need to keep the blinds closed. One night, there was a drunk man yelling in the narrow street, which woke up my wife and I (as well as the residents living across the street). Some people yelled at him from the window, and he left after about 5 minutes. Also, if a car drives down the narrow street at night, you will definitely hear it. It's located in a convenient location inside the old town. The hotel is modern and very clean. The staff spoke excellent English. The breakfast was great. If you do not take a taxi there, I think it would be hard to find.

This is a lovely hotel and well worth staying at. Bring your swimmers because there is a hot tub and sauna in the basement area which we used every night. We were the only guests that used it. Right next door is a little authentic German restaurant which you really should try. We ate there twice because we loved it so much. I've stayed here twice now and will stay again.

The primary draw to this hotel is its near ideal location. The Agneshof is a very easy walk from the main marketplace, just up behind the St. Sebald church. Parking is available in an underground garage right off the main lobby. The staff were accomodating and friendly and all spoke English. My only nit to pick was the wifi, which was pretty much useless […] in the rooms. It worked fine in the lobby area, though. If you stay there, consider asking for a room that *does not* face the street out front. The street (an alley, really) is cobblestone and you get to listen to people dragging their rolling suitcases and talking loudly, which echos off the surrounding buildings. Also, the Agnesof is a non-smoking hotel, so guests stand out front to smoke. The smoke goes right up into the windows of the rooms facing the street. The staff let me go up to their highest room to get a shot of the castle behind the hotel. If you can afford the extra cost, the room is really very nice and the view from the terrace up there is great. Læs mere

The Sorat Agneshof is a great hotel in a fantastic location, only several blocks from the main market square of Nueremberg, yet on a very quiet street. The staff was very friendly, hotel was very clean, and breakfast buffet was ample and included in the hotel price. I would highly recommend this hotel!

A recently refurbished hotel close to the castle in Nuernberg located in a quiet street. The hotel is within walking distance of most of the old town and several good restaurants and bars. Hotel is very conveniently located near the fortress at the top of Konig Strasse. The hotel was extremely clean (even by German standards), the room was quite spacious and the staff was great. I think it was a great value too. The location on Agnesglasse doesn't really allow for any views though, so if that's your thing, you may wish to consider another […] property. I walked all the way from the station with 25 kilos of luggage and it took me about 20 minutes. It was a very hot day and the entire route was over cobblestones so if your a heavy packer, you may wish to consider a taxi (about 6 euros). But if your traveling light and the weather is good, take your time and enjoy the walk. You pass almost every major site along the way. Læs mere
