Hampton Inn Philadelphia/Great Valley/Malvern - Frazer

Hotel personnel were very helpful upon arrival and the next day. Clerk went to get hot water when I mentioned water in machine wasn't hot enough to make a cup of tea. Really liked getting comp tickets to QVC.

We were especially pleased with the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. I was late for breakfast and asked if there were any muffins and right away they foound one for me. I needed directions and they took a lot of time to find my destination and give me directions, Very pleased with ouor visit

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. All of them. Even the cleaning staff when encountered in the hallway said hello and asked how the stay was. The breakfast was above average with a diverse offering of hot and cold foods--definitely more than continental which made the stay nicer. The room was very modern and comfortable and clean. The hotel was attractive, clean and comfortable. The employees both at the desk and in the dining room was very pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed our stay

First of all, the breakfast is top notch. It's better than anyplace I have been. Unfortunately, this hotel is missing quite a few basic necessities for the constant traveler: no fridge or microwave (though they keep promising to move a fridge to my room for my lengthy stay), under 40 channels total (incl TNT, USA, VH1, TBS, news, Golf!, 2 ESPNs, Comcast […] Sports, Fox but not MSNBC, shopping, more news channels, & TLC - reality TV only), and THREE pcs of fitness equipment (treadmill, bike, and elliptical w/ no TV remote in there). I could have gotten more (and more relevant) TV channels, more fitness equipment, AND microwave & fridge for $30 less per night. Sorry, but the luxury is not worth it to me. Læs mere

I go out yearly for work and have always stayed at a hotel next to this one. Well, tired of getting pennied to death on costs there, I decided to try Hampton's and wow was I amazed. Free wifi, breakfast, clean room. This hotel is where I will be staying next year! This is one case in which you DO NOT get what you pay for as the price was less than half […] of where I normally stay and with no less service (outside of room service not being available). Over all the hotel was very nice and the location is perfect for my business in the area. (I will probably be staying there 3 or 4 more times in the next 2 months.) One observation and one comment.... the trashcans in my room weren't empty, 2 of them had articles in them from the previous party that stayed in the room. The information I received on line was exactly right and very convenient for my family as we commuted back and forth from the College for the activities we were participating in. The hotel was clean and certainly adequate for the price. The bed was comfy also. I only gave hotel service a 3 because on the second morning, the free breakfast kept running out so people were standing in line and getting irritated. There was only 1 woman keeping the breakfast bar stocked and she let things like coffee cups, milk, cereal, and pastries […] run out without replacing them . The omelets and sausage were gone in minutes each time she refreshed because the people standing in line were hoarding them once they became available. So when that many people are staying in the hotel, there needs to be a better plan for the free breakfast and keeping it available. Læs mere

It was a lot more reasonable to stay at the Hampton Inn here than at others closer to Philadelphia and King of Prussia. It was close to Hwy 202 and Hwy 30. No that I'm an Outback fan, but it was nice having it right next door one night so we didn't have to get in to our car to travel to grab something to eat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Morning […] commute was horrible, but that's so typical throughout this area. Once it was past rush hour, traffic was fine. Typical Hampton Inn breakfast (which is very nice). This is a really nice hotel. It's clean & comfortable and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I appreciate that it has wi-fi so I can check email, etc. The breakfast is also a nice bonus. It's my preferred hotel in the area since my sister moved to the area last year and I need a place to stay when I visit several times a year. There is just one […] thing to look out for... this is my 2nd stay in this hotel and both times they put my credit card "on file for any incidental charges" and ended up charging me for the stay, even though I had already paid through hotels.com. This time I caught it before I left and pointed it out to the person checking me out. He assured me that my credit card had not been charged, even though I had a bill in my hand telling me otherwise and sure enough when I got home & checked my statement, I had been charged and I ended up having to call the hotel to get the charges reversed. The hotel was beautiful. The room was fantastic. At check-in, we met the most wonderful woman behind the counter who was nothing but helpful even to the point of running something up to the 4th floor to our room. She was knowledgeable of the area, courteous is not a big enough word for her. The breakfast!!!!!!!! We arranged for a one-night stay at this hotel as we were attending our HighSchool reunion at a nearby establishment. It was a perfect place for us - lots of free & lighted parking - great location. The hotel's lobby & dining area were comfortable with many amenities & much space. We stayed here due to its location. It was quite convenient to express ways and offered a thoroughly comfortable experience. Would stay here again if the opportunity arose.
