I would recommend this hotel to families and business people. It is clean (no fear of bed bugs), and conveniently located. This Hampton Inn was not consistent with the Hampton Inn's we have stayed in the past. It was in a very bad area even though it was right off the freeway. We were given a smoking room and told it was the only one left! The "young" girl behind the counter was definitely not trained in customer service and was very unhelpful. Decent hotel, hot tub was too cold the 1st day, too hot the next and out of service the last. Should have been repaired promptly.

Looking for a convenient stopover on our way home from Toronto to NJ, we chose this hotel based on previous reviews. We were very pleased to realize that each and every 5-star review was validated. This hotel added little things that make you comfortable, like a lounge area in the lobby that stocks hot beverages, fruit, and sometimes fresh cookies, except when it serves as the breakfast area for a reasonable 6 to 10 a.m. The breakfast was very nice although not quite a smorgasborg: the hot food was better than most expanded continentals, and the […] selection of items was comprehensive yet basic. There's a bench outside the hotel lobby for smokers. The pool was heated, the hottub was hot, with 7 powerful jets, and both were very clean. I stayed here because I was travelling between Penn State and Boston. The hotel is close to Rte 17 behind the Wegmans groecery store. It's also close to the mall and several decent eating locations.

Terrific. I don't know if this is standard for Hampton Inns, but there are all these tasteful, clever photos that correspond to each room door. Makes it easy to remember your room. Overall Good Hotel in the area. Convienent to Bing. Univ. (about 5 min drive south). Wegmans Market in same complex. Plenty of other eating locations nearby. Also, this hotel isn't well noted by signage, etc. Look for the Wegmans market and the Hamptons is just beyond the Wegmans loading dock. Don't worry, location is quiet and has low traffic. On this […] stay, we were on ground floor, being warm and humid recently, the room was moderately damp because the AC unit cooled the room and really didn't dehumidify it. During the summer ask for a upper floor room. Beds are on the soft side so if that is a concern, take it in to account when booking. Breakfast was adequate but would be nice if it could include eggs, etc. on occasion. The rate we paid I feel was a little high but the Hampton Inns are the better places to stay in the area (one other near Univ. on Vestal Pkwy.). Læs mere

The hotel is clean, lovely, has a great breakfast in the morning, is right next to Wegman's, what could be better, stop in and get some healthy snacks for the ride home, and right across from the mall with Macy's and some good eateries, went to Christy's steakhouse for a great dinner. The pool is beautiful, new and clean, flat screen TV's, comfortable […] beds and pillow, nice comfie chair to relax and watch TV as alternative to bed, it has it all for a decent price, and so accessible to the university, perfect, just get good directions from soneone, and you'll see how easy it is.
