I was rather disappointed when we pulled up, first of all there is all kinds of construction going on to improve the roads, and this hotel was not easy to get to because of it....then I was really disappointed when we had to access our room with a outside entrance going into the room. I was thinking that this hotel had actual inside hallways to get […] to the rooms, and this one did not. The actual room was not that bad, and the bed was very comfortable, but I was glad that we only were staying one night. We did not use the pool because of the rainy weather, but it did look very nice, and the breakfast was your typical cold breakfast selection. I think there are probably better hotels around this area if you are looking to stay more than one night... Læs mere

Would not stay there again

Great hotel, Staff, Breakfast, Pool area, Short Ride to beaches. Construction not as bad as some posts said. Rooms were tight, Bathrooms small.

Very nice 2-1/2 star hotel... great breakfast, including breakfast area... nice clean pool. Woul;d definitely stay there again.

We were in Clearwater for just one night en route to Sarasota and, ultimately, Fort Lauderdale so we weren't all the concerned with much more than the necessity of a bed to sleep in. From the outside, the hotel appears fairly dated and I had pretty low expectations for our room. I was very pleased to enter a recently renovated, ver pleasantly decorated […] and easily accessible room on the ground floor. Even more delightful was the discovery of a large and wonderfully heated pool! Breakfast was included, and there was a nice array of options for to meet my family's tastes. The Hampton Inn was once again our home away from home. A pleasant stay as we also brought our family to stay as well. The Hampton Inn Central is always my first choice when visiting Clearwater and my family.

Nice, well maintained and nice pool area. Always satisfied with Hampton.

I travelled for work with my husband and infant son. We stayed for two weeks. We booked a standard non-smoking king room. The hotel upgraded us to a full suite, without us even asking! It was very nice, clean, friendly and comfortable! Definitely recommend!

The hotel looks like it was remodeled. It looked very nice. The grounds were kept up very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice. It was a good experience.

Thanks for making our visit to the Florida area so enjouable. We were close to the places we wished to visit. Your bradkfast bar was excellent.

I've nevered stayed in a better hotel. Everything was exactly what we wanted. it was very clean and comfortable. It had a beautiful pool with a waterfall. Beautiful grounds. Thanks for giving us such a nice place to stay.

You need at least two more elevaors as the one you have is in a terrible place. I won't stay here againl

Our first room on the first floor was full of millipeds everywhere including the bed. When we complained, our room was changed within minutes to the 2nd floor. Great service, good pool, nice rooms on the 2nd floor.

Front lobby was clean and breakfast was very good, The room was not clean, creeping worms in the bathroom area. No phone bbok in the room. The rooms need major overhaul.

what a great night sleep! I loved this hotel and the fact they have a nice surprise when you walk in the room. I felt at home.

The room was clean and recently remodeled. The breakfast was more than expected. Waffles, scrambled eggs, fruit, and pastries.

I wish we could have been there long enough to take in the pool-- Very adequate for our needs

The hotel had clean rooms but didnt have a bar fridge or flat television screens. The hotel setup was more of a motel with rooms located around the property, either facing the pool or the parking lot. The most annoying aspect of the hotel was that they didnt have a bar or a restaurant on the property.

The motel it self was very nice, clean and staff very accommodating. The major problem we had is that the requested refrigerator was broken (the door kept falling off). This was a problem as I need to keep medication cold. Currently there is construction on the roadway outside of the hotel -- but we did not to hear it at all.

Absolutely loved this hotel and will stay every visit! The kiddie pool was great, pools were clean, breakfast was delicious! Rooms were cleaned and refreshed with towels by VERY friendly service! Only issue was the tub, it was clogged and peeling...but that was the only issue and I would definitely not let it keep me from staying again!

I am pretty OCD when it comes to bedbugs & check my bed at every hotel that I go to immediately upon checking in. I removed all of the sheets from my bed & lifted the mattress off the boxspring to check for the little critters. My bed was clear. Upon checking the second bed, what should I find but a couple of the dead little monsters between the mattress […] & boxspring. We vacated to the lobby & were re-assigned a new room & a promise that maintenance would visit the previous room immediately with the shift manager. Went to the second room & found another dead bed bug as well as larvae between the mattress & boxspring. I scooped them onto the notepad in the room & took them to the front desk. I was told that it "looks like food crumbs" & I freaked. Isn't Hampton the ones who advertise clean sheets? After this, I was given my third room. It passed the bedbug check. If I hadn't come from so far away with no idea as to what was clean nearby, I would have just asked for a refund & found some place else. No breakfast or pool can make up for bedbugs. Læs mere

Hampton Inn was very nice with a great breakfast! Pool was nice Hot tub could of been a lot warmer. a little too far from the beach

Difficult to find--we saw the hotel from the Hwy. & a few miles & alittle luck we made our way back to it. It was worth the effort. The staff was friendly & helpfull. The room was clean & comfotable. The breakfast was all we had hoped for and more. We will definately return here again.

Good place to stay with family. Quiet. Great pools! Both my sink and shower had clogs, so the water kept accumulating. It was kind of gross.

Hampton Inn Cnetral is my home away from home. I feel safe and comfortable as I visit my family several times a year. The room is very comfortable and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. I always enjoy my stay.

The hotel is not bad

Nice hotel...did not like the location. It was hard to get to being on a service road. Directions were confusing and we got lost on 19. Otherwise everything else was ok.

This hotel was wonderful, rooms were great, very comfortable bed. They had a great breakfast every morning and it was close enough to walk to the Phillies Spring Training games, the pool was great, kids loved it and it was close to the beach and lots of great restaurants. We will be staying here every year.

Hotel was very clean. Staff were helpful and breakfast was excellent. Many options that changed from day to day. Lots of large parking spaces. Pool and property was big, well maintained with lots of space. The room did not have a frig or micro wave.

The king bed was EXTREMELY comfortable. Haven't slept that great in ages. Also, housekeeping was wonderful.

We has a great ime in the pool and jacuzz and was able to dry our bathing suits before we let. It was nice to be able to walk to the stadium and be able to go to the Perkin's that was located close by. The Hotel was very clean and the two queen beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
