The main purpose of this hotel is to cater to tourists going on a cruise. They do a great job with their shuttle and proximity to nearby restaurants and shopping.

Our experience with this hotel was great. The breakfast buffet was excellent and well maintained, the pool area was also relaxing with many palm trees surrounding the area. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family!

We waited 1 3/4 hours for the airport shuttle, which we thought was excessive. We were disappointed that the hotel had no restaurant. We had to walk a mile to the nearest restaurant. We will not stay at this hotel again.

This Hampton Inn provided everything that one has come to expect from this chain. Parking lot often filled up and had to park in lot next door, which we were told the hotel has made arrangements for and it was okay to do so.

they made our xmas eve and day perfect.They were nice enouigh to provide a list of restaurants open on xmas day which helped so much.The staff were courteous and delightful. Great place to stay.

Overall, it was a good stay except that the air conditioner was extremely loud and sometimes wouldn't turn on until the room got really stuffy. Also, the mattress was way too soft. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. Aldy was particularly good, combining a great sense of humour with efficiency.

The Hampton Inn was wonderful. The staff were pleasant and helpful even when under pressure. We arrived at the hotel at about 11am.Check in time was 3pm. We were told rooms would be ready shortly and our luggage was stored for us. The lobby area was quite relaxing while we waited although it was busy all around (guests leaving for cruise port and airport). […] Our rooms were ready before 12pm. The rooms were big and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and everything was in order. We would recommend Hampton Inn to everyone. I read the previous reviews prior to booking and was impressed. This is an excellent hotel! Fantastic customer service. When we arrived at the airport I called the hotel to pick us up and the two shuttles were already making runs so the hotel manager said that she did not want us to wait long so she told us to catch a cab and they would paid the cab […] cost when we arrived at the hotel. Wow! They even allowed us to checking early 1pm without any additional cost. The mall is literally a two minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast was good... We found this hotel to be very clean. The staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to help. It had a very nice pool area for relaxing and swimming after a busy day of shopping. It had a hot and cold breakfast which was complimentary and convenient. It is close to malls, the university and close to the airport, a free shuttle was provided to […] and from the airport. The hotel facility was excellent. More importantly the staff did an OUTSTANDING job taking care of our needs over the 3 days. They picked us up via van at the cruise terminal and took us to the airport via van. We had a late afternoon flight and the staff set the five of us up in a conference room where we were able to wirgh our bags and adjust a lounge […] around for 5 hours. The Hampton Inn- Plantation was an excellent choice when we were sent there online. Breakfast was good.and the staff was real courteous. The room was very cozy and when our microwave went out,they had it replace in minutes with a new one. Only sore point was when i checked out and left my phone charger in the jack ,on my return for it 3 hrs later i […] was told it was locked up in housekeeping and not even a manager had access to it,so they asked me to return for it the next day when the housekeeping staff were there. I left and i started to wonder why was it no one could get in the room where my charger was and went back in to question this. I spoke to another lady who was very kind to offer to loan me one till the next day as she stated that no one had any access to this room only the housekeeping manager. We chose this hotel because the fare of the room was reasonable and included free Breakfast Buffet and also fres shuttles, from Ft Lauderdale Airport and to Port Everglades Terminal. The room was comfortable and customer service was good. Very few restaurants located at a walking distance if you do not have a car.

This hotel offered shuttle from airport to hotel and from hotel to cruise ship. great service. great location for going on cruise, hotel staff helpful and pleasant. breakfast good. surprised by evening snack offered. nice mall close by and good restaurants nearby,would stay there again for sure.

The employees of this hotel were great., very courteous friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was good, more than I expected. The bathrooms in the room were exceptionally clean. We had a great stay.

The location and the amenities are worth it. It is very convenient for my shopping trips. I absolutely adore it.

For the location and comparing it to the hotels in the area I would like to see the price reduced to become more competitive.

Hampton Plantaion was a beautiful facility, excellent shuttle service fom the airport and to and from the cruise ship terminal, also provided shuttle service to Sawgrass Mall, restaurants within walking distance and shopping mall 1 block away. Very safe area. We would use this facility in the future. Debbie, daytime manager is fantastic.

We stayed here for 7 nights, the hotel was very clean and the breakfast was great too! Neighborhood was nice, it was close to a couple shopping areas and close enough to the highway for traveling elsewhere. The room we had was great except for the fact that the door had a very large gap at the floor, which meant you could hear every word people were […] saying in the hallway, or when the housekeeping was going thru and cleaning the rooms around you, the doors slamming was a bit alarming!? Also, not that this is horrible . . .but Hampton is known for having fresh baked cookies out in the evenings, except don't expect to get them at this location. They make one plate and one plate only for all the guests in the hotel. At the other Hampton's we have stayed at, they would keep refilling the container for at least an hour. As I love cookies . . .I was sad we couldn't have that extra snack when we would return in the evenings?! But all in all, this was a good place to stay. Læs mere

The hotel met all our expectations, and was within walking distance of 2 malls and plenty of restaurants. Everyone was courteous. The only con was the complimentary airport shuttle does not begin until 8am (not mentioned on their webpage.) They will provide a shuttle but it will cost $30 which we split 3 ways. I have stayed at the Hampton Inn - Plantation on many occasions. It is always my first choice when I travel to Ft. Lauderdale. The hotel is not very large, so it always gives me a cozy, comfortable feeling when I stay there. The employees are consistent in their friendly and helpful service each time I visit. Vi bodde sex nätter på detta hotell i februari och var mycket nöjda. Ett hotell som ger mycket valuta för pengarna. Rummen är rena och fina. Vi bodde två vuxna och två barn i ett rum med två Queen-sängar och det fungerade utmärkt. Badrummet var rent och fint. AC i rummet var lätt att ställa in på den temperatur man ville ha. De flesta i personalen […] var trevliga och hjälpsamma. Bankomat för uttag av kontanter fanns bredvid receptionen, och den fungerade bra för oss. Tvättservicen var svindyr, men det fanns egen tvättstuga för hotelletsgäster på plan fyra med mynt-tvättmaskiner. Poolområdet är fint med både en vanlig pool och en varm bubbelpool. Handdukar finns att låna i receptionen. Akta er dock för fallande kokosnötter från palmerna. När vi badade så ramlade det ner flera stycken. På bottenplan finns varuautomater med glass, vatten, läsk, snacks, godis m.m. På varje våningsplan finns ismaskiner och läskautomater. Hotellet har även ett helt OK gym, med löpband, träningscykel, step-maskin och några andra maskiner. Frukosten var bra, med mycket att välja på. Gröt, flingor, frukt, bagels, ägg m.m. Det fanns även ett våffeljärn där man kunde grädda sina egna våfflor. Kaffe, te och vatten fanns att tillgå dygnet runt i loungen (frukostrestaurangen). Mellan kl.17-19 på vardagar bjuds det på gratis öl och snacks i loungen vid receptionen. Någon dollar i dricks bör man nog dock ge till den som serverar. Vi utnyttjade hotellets shuttle-service både från flygplatsen när vi kom och till hamnen när vi skulle åka. När vi kom till flyplatsen ringde vi direkt till hotellet och beställde hämtning och vi fick bara vänta i ca. 30 minuter innan den blåa lilla minibussen kom och hämtade upp oss. För att få skjuts till hamnen var vi tvugna att skriva upp oss på en lista några dagar innan, men det gick smidigt och bra.
