the White Hart hotel in Salisbury is a charming old hotel with a good atmosphere in a lovely old town. It is close to Salisbury Cathedral and lots eating places and shopping. You have to pay for the wifi and carry your own bags up the stairs (no lift - no help). The location is great though. It felt a little like "Quality Inn" or "Clarion" if you're familiar with those chains in the US. The staff wasn't overly helpful but they were ok.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed at the White Hart for a long weekend and I have to say it was an extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff were particularly friendly and I would definitely stay there again.

Good location, shame that the windows to the rooms on the road weren't very well sound proofed. Receptionist a bit surly and didn't help with a request of ours, until we reminded her a few hours later!!! Other wise all good.

I had a pleasant stay at the White Hart. It was only for one night but the rooms were comfortable and the staff was very nice. It is in a good, safe location and walkable to the town center. The room was clean and amenities were adequate. The bed was a little springy and not very soft but it was still comfortable. The bathroom was nice and toiletries […] provided were adequate. location is great, very close to the railway station and city centre. service is great, reception was really helpful to me, and housekeeping team was also professional. This hotel is in a great location for the city centre (which is easy to get around by foot anyway). It's very close to the Cathedral and grounds, which are well worth walking through whether you're visiting for business or pleasure. The hotel is well maintained- the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I did find a fan in my wardrobe the morning after […] spending a night- would have been nice to have been told it was there on arrival as it was a very hot day, but this is only a minor thing really. Rooms were clean and tidy as you'd expect- tea and coffee facilities and a mini bar (rare find these days but if you desperately wanted a cold drink great for the hot weather- or even just cooling a glass of water). Did not eat there or have breakfast there so unable to comment on the food service. But for the rate I paid it was a great deal for a 4* hotel. Læs mere

I had a room with a large bathroom but the bedroom was small and felt a little claustrophobic which was a little disappointing. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Although we were only there for one night we had a great experience. The staff were friendly, the room was comfy and clean, the location was perfect and very central and would certainly stay there again. Breakfast in the morning was delicious also!

Hotel is well located for sights/shops/pubs/restaurant etc. Reception staff are very welcoming. Room very comfortable and clean although is slight need of re decorating. Bar staff again friendly, not quite on the ball with cocktails. Restaurant experience was not the best. No heating on in October and seated by the window! The room was clean and well maintained, however the updated and could have replaced the carpet as it was worn.

A georgian hotel in the middle of Salisbury. Full of charm and extremely comfortable. The lounge is very relaxing to sit in. The breakfast was excellent with attentive staff. Good sized rooms. Spotlessly clean.Secure large free car park If you have read the book titled 'the suspicions of mr whicher' about the murder at road hill house you will know […] that this was the hotel the family stayed at during the trial in 1865. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, die Zimmer nach hinten sind ruhig, nach vorne hört man den Strassenlärm einer Kleinstadt. Geschichtsträchtiges, stilvolles Haus, nettes Personal, romantischer Garten im Hinterhof mit Sitzplätzen.
