De 294 værelser med aircondition på Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite har MP3-dockingstation og pengeskab. Sengene har topmadrasser samt ægyptisk bomuldslinned, dundyner og premium-sengetøj. Der er trådløs og kablet højhastighedsforbindelse til internettet (tillægsgebyr). 40" LCD-tv med satellitkanaler, konsol til computerspil og betalingsfilm. Alle værelserne har skrivebord, ergonomiske stole og højttalertelefon med telefonsvarer. Der er mulighed for gratis lokalopkald (begrænsninger kan forekomme). Badeværelserne har kombination af bruser/badekar, badekåbe, makeup-/barberspejl og hårtørrer.

Hvis man ønsker komfort, er dette ikke stedet. Men hold da op en naturoplevelse!! Man overnatter stort set midt i det naturskønne Yosemite (Valley) i et ret primitivt telt - dog med vægge på 3 sider og teltdug over og ved indgangen. Eget bord/bænke sæt, bålplads, bjørnesikret opbevaringsbox, en dobbeltseng og en køjeseng, som begge var ok. Sengelinned kan lejes for ganske få dollars (tror det var ca. 6 dollars for 3 sæt til en overnatning) og man får en billet til badet, som er ganske fint (camping-standard) med shampoo/bodyshampoo og håndklæde inkluderet. En rigtig fin måde for os at opleve området på, da vi kun havde tid til en enkelt overnatning.

Hotellet ligger fantastisk for at besøge yosemite, og hotellet har ture planlagt dertil, men det er både dyrt at booke og at bo på hotellet, maden kostede næsten det dobbelte her af hvad den kostede i Wuksash.

"Fantastisk sted i skønne omgivelser"
Suverænt hotel i den skønneste natur og tæt på Yosemite Nationalpark. Dejlig restaurant med lækker med og super høflig betjening. Vi nød det og ville ønske vi havde haft flere dage der
"Hotel Tenaya Lodge - luksus værd at køre efter."
Her er et fantastisk luksushotel - perfekt til en familie på 4. Morgenmaden var fænomenal - overdådig..... der var alt hvad enhver kunne behage. Frisk frugt, engelsk morgenmad, kager, lav din egen omelet, youghurt, juice osv. Eneste minus var at den ikke var inkluderet i prisen, ca 15 dollars pr. pers. Fantastisk pool både udendørs og indendørs. Hotellet […] er i den sydlige ende af parken og man tror næsten, at man er kørt for langt og pludselig dukker hotellet op til venstre. En rigtig oase. Der er ikke langt ind til Mariposa grove med de smukkeste kæmpetræer og hjorte som næsten går i klappeafstand. Tillad jer selv at blive mindst to overnatninger, det er bare så skønt. Vi kunne sagtens have brugt fire overnatninger her, da vi så havde meget bedre tid til at nyde både den fantastiske flotte og meget store park samt det helt fantastiske hotel. Husk at køre ind eller ud via Tioga passet - det er hel turen værd. Et lille minus mere er, at der kun er trådløst netværk, hvis man betaler for det. Dejligt hotel super service, men slidt i forhold til Vegas hvor vi kom fra havde problemer med laas på vores vaerelse men det loeste hotel med super service og kompentation

This is a Wonderful place to stay & very close to Yosemite! A beautiful, comfortable, and clean resort. The only downside that we had was no fault of the resorts, there is just very little civilization near there so you a driving a little bit for gas etc.

"Excellent stay, fantastic staff"
We loved our short stay at this lodge. With a warm welcome and a free upgrade, we found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly. We used the (huge) hot tub in the indoor pool room and at 11pm were able to enjoy it all to ourselves. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean. The only area I think could be improved was in the restaurant […] where our service was a little rushed. Overall though, this was a great hotel and we would definitely return here. Læs mere

"Rustic"
Stayed in the Cottages which are a short drive/walk away from the main building/reception. Room was comfortable, though not as large as expected. Had trouble with the fireplace (gas) which would not light up, so a technician ad to be called. The next night, we could not get the fridge and microwave oven to operate - a technician had to come and replace […] a fuse outside. The restaurant food in the main building is a bit expensive, but unless you want a 40 minute drive into and back from Oakhurst, there isn't much choice. The Pizza restaurant near the Cottages is more reasonable and tastes good. It's a short 8 min drive from Tenaya to the the Park entrance, then other 10 mins to the Giant Trees. If you go the other way from the Park entrance, Yosemite Village is about a 40 mins drive. Use the Hotel Concierge for local information - they are great! Læs mere

"What a wonderful place!"
First class! Lovely furnishings, great service in the restaurant, helpful advice from employees. Only drawback is they are working on updating and repairing and several areas were blocked off. They should be ready by summer, though. It's nice to see they are keeping up appearances.
"best location south entrance to Yosemite park"
We just got back from a visit of Yosemite park (april 17th 2012) and this is probably the best hotel in terms of quality-location plus reasonable price. We were a little surprised to find snow on the ground when we arrived at this time of the year but it is at 6000 feet altitude. Next day in the valley, it was warm enough for shorts and tshirt. "Where's the free internet?"
Overall the hotel was good, but a bit of a let down for false advertising free internet! The only "free internet" was to view the hotel's internal information, bookings, restaurant, etc., there was NO free internet. Internet access is available everywhere now-a-days and its' cost (access) is very, very low. I thought that this was VERY CHEEP of the […] hotel and turn me off to returning there ever again. "Lovely"
On this trip we stayed in the "cottages" which are apart from the hotel. They consist of 3 units together and appear to look like little houses. Our room was a bottom floor but I would recommend staying on the upper level. It was noisy from the upstairs folks. I was traveling with my 10 yr old son who LOVED the indoor pools! The food at Jackalopes […] bar and grill was fantastic! Get sweet potatoe fries. On a map it appeared closer to Yosemite Valley than it was. which is good because it's not as busy. But a bit of a drive if you need to go back and forth over several days. I would return for sure. Læs mere
"Great place, but some problems."
I really want to like this place - staff is great, wonderful location, really a nice environment. But, there are some fundamental construction problems, or something. It seems as though they have used no sound insulation whatsoever. We could hear people walking down the hall all day, elevator tones all day and night, and it sounded like the family upstairs […] was having a rugby tournament. Never stayed in hotel that allowed so much sound to be transmitted through the walls and ceiling. Also, some times of the day we would have no cold water! Hot water would come out of both faucets, and showers would be almost unbearably hot. Other times all was fine. Restaurants were very nice, and the bar was a pleasant place to hang out. Pool was good, and the front lobby was also very nice. We had a great time, and would probably go back, but for such a nice resort, the construction should have been better. Læs mere
"The Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite"
Having stayed at other hotels at Yosemite National Park we decided to stay at the Tenaya Lodge for a change. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. We were in a lodge and it left a lot to be desired. Carpet leading into the bathroom was badly frayed, the entrance door to the lodge was cracked down the middle so you could actually stand inside […] and look at anybody standing outside,the toilet roll holder was broken and every time you used it the holder fell into the waste bin and the dirty laundry was left outside the front door in a plastic bag over 24 hours. Nice place and the closest one to Yosemite South Gate. Great base from which to see Yosemite.
Very convenient access to southern end of Yosemite, NOT if you want to go back and forth to the valley. Staff wonderful. Only complaint--WIFI should be free access in rooms.

"Tenaya Lodge"
This was our second Christmas spent @ the Tenaya Lodge @ Christmas and it didn't let us down! Sometimes Wnen you have such an amazing time the 1st year, the second year can't meet your expectations, but we brought 2 families with us, and the Tenaya exceeded our expectations and beyond!
"Excellent...but"
The resort is amazing but two reasons why I didn't give it a 5 star rating. The waiter in the Grill was quite snobby but the guy that brought out our drinks (Jose or Juan?) was very cheerful and made up for the waiter. Second reason, when my kids and wife sat down on the sofas in the lobby, they got up only to have dog hair all over their pants. "Tenaya - Some Problems, Made It Right"
We had long been admirers of the hotel, having stopped in for hot cocoa one Christmas and stumbled upon a Gingerbread House workshop that has become an annual tradition. We even considered having our wedding here we loved it so much, so we were excited to stay here for an anniversary. The good: - incredibly friendly and helpful staff (valet, front desk, […] restaurants) - great location - lots of fun activities - knowledgable concierge The bad: - noise in hallways - they lost our reservation for a King room and tried to substitute a Double - we had 1 maintenance call, and 2 maintenance visits during our stay - housekeeping woke us up at 8AM despite DND signs - we basically didn't sleep the entire weekend That said, when we alerted the front desk, they did a partial refund and apologized profusely. It seems we just drew the short straw on an unusually busy weekend when they were training a bunch of staff, and thankfully we were so happy just to get away that we laughed about it. Læs mere

The hotel is very welcoming and charming. The room is of good size, well-equipped and tastefully furnished. We very much enjoyed our stay there.

I really felt pampered. the staff was so attentive and the rooms were so clean. we had several fantastic meals in the restaraunts located within the hotel and the food was delicious. the indoor pool was warm and very clean. the hot tubs..what can I say. i want one. so relaxing and there are robes located in the rooms to wear to the pool. comfortable […] beds, and a good shower. "Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite South"
The hotel was amazing! It was definitely worth the money, as the rooms were huge, the TV was great, and the furniture was very comfortable. The only thing that could have been better was the location, since the hotel was pretty far south of the main attractions in Yosemite. Not too big of a deal, though, considering how nice the place was!

We stayed 3 nights at Tenaya Lodge. The service was excellent, particularly the valet parking service. All staff members were very helpful. I was especially grateful that the hotel had a guest laundry, as these are often hard to find.

The facility was overall nice. Biggest complaint was the door didn't lock on all occassions. We really had to mess with it a bit and at times were debating on whether we could leave if we couldn't get it to lock. Didn't matter if you were inside or outside of the room.

"Great hotel just outside the park"
We stayed in the cottages which were inside the hotel grounds. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. the hotel is situated just 2 miles out of the park and so its easy to gain access to the park but from the hotel to the valley floor or main trails its about an hours drive. Would definately reccommend this hotel.
