Days Inn - I-10 Lake City - Lake City

Lake City rolls up their sidewalks at 9. Not the hotel's fault, but I ended up with a burger in my room instead of a steak and a beer.

Nice staff reasonable price clean.

Everything fine except for the 50 mile roundtrip to the Festival

Just stayed one night. The only reason the Hotel Service received a 4 was based on the check in person. Not very welcoming. I got the feeling we were a necessary nuisance. The cleaning woman was very nice and very helpful and she deserves a 5. The comfort rating of the room was based on personal preference. On line directions wrong. Previous occupant lefts pair of dirty men's briefs and a wet washcloth on the tub. Where was the quality inspection after housekeeping ? Overall hotel appearance was poor at best. Will not return.

Close to the highway. Was fine for the price and all we needed was a place to sleep for the night. Many, many truckers there....so was some what loud outside. Huddle House was within walking distance, but the food was awful!!!!! Got to our room and two lights had no light bulbs in them, so had to go and get more, but the lady at the front desk was helpful […] and very pleasant to deal with. Was told all the rooms on the first floor were taken......but I checked......many were empty all night and the next morning. If you just need a place to put your head at night.....it is just fine.......if you are looking for more.......then keep looking! Læs mere

The beds are absolutely horrible.

This hotel is, indeed, VERY close to the interstate. The room was very comfortable and clean. The shower had great water pressure. The microwave and refrigerator both worked perfectly. The hotel staff was wonderful - very nice and helpful. Had to drive several miles to town to find a place to eat. But, once in town, there were LOTS of restaurants to […] choose from. I would not choose this hotel again. Tub had hair in it, something....possibly blood on the shower curtain. Sheets not changed out. Breakfast was a joke, 2 types of cereal, some packages of Quaker oatmeal, bruised fruit, and day old breads. Reception desk smells so strongly of curry that my eyes watered. Met someone there as it was halfway. Very convenient to I-10 and I -75. All we needed!

Not bad for an overnight waypoint but that is all. Place is clean but overall it is a bit tired around the edges. Restaurants are a 5 minute drive away and if it is beyone 8:00 pm only the usual burger joints or chinese buffet are available. Breakfast is not worth walking to the lobby for.

This was a decent place to spend the night on the way to Jacksonville. About 5 miles from town. Not someplace to stay for an extended time.

We stayed here over night. There were fingernail clippings on the floor so I dont think the room had been cleaned. The Breakfast was non existent.

The hotel is .2 miles (point 2) south of I-10. Check-in was simple and hassle-free. The room was fairly clean. The A/C worked just fine and there were clean towels in the bathroom. Better attention could have been paid to the overall cleanliness of the room but for the price, I suppose it was better than it could have been.

To whom it concern. My stay at the Days Inn was comfortable. There are a few things I feel need to be addressed in the rooms. The air conditioner unit had A LOT of dust on it. Actually had dust bunnies. Also there were cobwebs. Not a great feeling. The housekeepers, however were there everyday to ask if I needed anything. It was nice they asked and […] simply did not over look me, because I was there for several days. They continually asked to throw my garbage, and offered me service. It was very nice. I do intend on renting a room in the near future. Please accept my apology if I seemed rude. I am a Nanny/ Assistant/ Housekeeper myself, I know it can be hard to keep up everything all the time. One of the best hotels for the money I've ever stayed at!!!

Easy check-in/check out. Rooms were pretty clean (just some spider webs in the top corners of the room). All in all, definitely a positive overall experience.

Desk clerk had an abraisive personality, and was difficult. Hotel was isolated from restaurants, etc. Desk clerk gave very difficult directions, when getting on Interstate to other restaurants would have been much easier. Would not recommend at all.

Happy with stay except breakfast was not opened by the time I left the first day (6:45) but was open for the second day.

Read review before I booked room, reviews were pretty much right on. Great hotel for the price, I had not problems and will book this hotel again in the future.

Don't judge this place from the outside. It was clean and comfortable in the room. Right off the highway.

found a spider in the towles, glad we shook them out first....bed was soft in the middle and side walls were rigid...we arrived late and was given a room at the rear of the hotel...looked like an old motel room, one story building with 6 rooms where the doors faced the parking lot

Room was clean and did not have any musty smells. The beds were very comfortable and we got a great nights sleep. The bathroom was clean and there were plenty of clean towels and wash clothes. Our only sugestion for improvement is to replace the old thread barren bath towels with new ones.

Worst hotel ever. Started with a very rude receptionist who seemed " bothered" that she had to get up from playing solitaire on the computer in the lobby to check us in. All the guests were crammed in one section of the hotel with a loud running 18 wheeler outside all night. One of our rooms had USED soap with HAIR on it in the shower when we arrived. […] Dirty pool with black mold all over pool deck. We had to go to the lobby to get pool towels and they only had 2! For the other two torn "bath mat" towels were given to us for pool towels. We were forced to take 2nd floor rooms even though there were plenty of open 1st floor rooms. Don't stay at this hotel under any circumstances. This hotel should be removed from Hotels.com immediately and never readded! Læs mere

It was ok it could have been better,like room service didn't have enough and the front desk they kind of had an attiutude and they don't have everything they say they have in the room,but they r ok,yes if push come to shove I will stay there again cause its convenience to me...

We arrived at 11pm, check in was very fast. Room was clean and quiet although there seemed to be a construction crew of 8-10 guys all drinking beer two rooms down and one floor under us. They did not disturb us yet was questioning hotel management for placing a family with kids so close to this. Overall, satisfied with my nights stay..thanks.

Clean and convenient

Check in was fast and easy. Room was clean but some of the furnishings were a little aged but still functioning. Beds were pretty hard so didn't get as much sleep as I would have liked. Reserved a NON-SMOKING Room and was given a smoking room upon arriving at 1:15 am. Manager told us that it showed up on their computer as a "Smoking Room" being reserved. I showed him my Hotels.com booking for "Non-Smoking" Room. Still could not give us a Non-Smoking Room claiming they were all booked up. We left and had to travel about 14 miles further […] east to EconoLodge. Much better room and more accomodating, cheaper too!! DON'T STAY AT THIS DAYS INN on I-10!!!!! You will regret!! Contacted Hotels.com by phone, they were very nice and quickly refunded my $$. Also offered to locate another hotel in the area. Læs mere

After traveling more than 10 hours with three small children in tow, check in was a breeze! The staff was really nice and friendly. The room was clean, warm and inviting. The breakfast was nice. Even after getting downs stairs close to the closing of the breakfast bar, we were allow to dine at our leisure. I would definitely be staying here again!

This hotel is somewhat difficult to find as the address was not recognized by my GPS. After some map reading I found the hotel and it was worth the hassle to find. This place goes above and beyond any other hotel I have been in.

We stayed at this property for one night after an event in Gainesville. We thought because it was a little out of the way that it would be a disappointment, but we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel had a great rate and clean rooms. The pool was small but clean and well kept. The staff were very nice and eager to help. The location was in close proximity […] to the interstate, but the neighborhood aound it wasn't the greatest. The closest restaurants were a few miles away in Lake City and you shouldn't bank on the continental breakfast. There is a national breakfast resturant just down the street. The hotel was worth what we paid, but boy the city needs a lot of help, while eating at a restaurant overheard conversations among the locals about a string of robberies which freaked us out. But this hotel being so close to the highway it made it easy to get to the locations were were after.

My travel experience was very nice. The hotel staff was very courteous & knowledgeable. I would definitely stay there again.

Very easy to find, nice and quiet, was on business trip, internet service was great. Very clean, maid staff very friendly.

We just needed somewhere to rest our heads before heading down to Orlando and we got just that. The room was small, but about the right size for a hotel of this caliber. The breakfast was a complete joke, but we did grab some fruit and a little juice before we headed out. Otherwise, it was eh. Like I said, we just needed a place to sleep. The room had hair over everything! It took the airconditioner forever to cool the room. The coffee pot still had someone's coffee still in the pot and it was nasty to look at. I would NEVER stay there again!

The bed needs new mattresses. I could feel all the springs in it. The A/C did not work and they would not put me in another room. Very unhappy with this hotel.

The north end of Lake City is not busy like the west side. This motel is out in the peace of the country. My room was clean and the staff was very friendly.
