Holiday Inn Toronto Downtown Centre - Toronto

Very agreeable. Nice room, nice big bathroom. Not personal at all, but hey, its not supposed to. Satisfied on all levels.

The area was really nice and the grocery store next door perfect for breakfast. Hotel room was clean, very big and really comfy. We enjoyed our stay.

Spent a week working in Toronto and enjoyed staying at the Holiday Inn. Spotlesly clean, very friendly and helpfull staff and you are well situated in downtown Toronto. The view from 22. floor is a great skyline...had a surprisingly pleasurable stay there :-)

This is one of the worst big chain hotels I have stayed in. The service was very bad, the staff were curt and as well didn't do what they promised. The hotel was extremely small. There was little to no room to move around. It felt like a sardine can. The hotel was relatively clean. My wife and I went on a long weekend jaunt to Toronto and had a great time. The hotel provided a reasonably comfortable and quiet room on an upper level floor as requested. The hotel was fully booked the day we arrived, but we were able to check into our room at the appropriate time. stayed here for a wedding overnight. no noise, was very clean, bathrooms were nice, staff was friendly, and the price was much, much better than other hotels in the downtown core. would definitely stay again!!

Good value and location. a couple of nice looking breakfast places across the street but we opted for the included breakfast buffet to get out and about faster. it got a little loud saturday night as there was a bachelor party going on next door but once they left to go out, peace was restored. So like the air conditioner didn't work but I called and they were nice enough to move me to a lower level and that did help.

very poor checkin with Jenny (i believet that's her name). Answered our questions with 1 or 2 words, didn't make eye contact, walked away and let someone else finish our checkin. We left our car at the hotel for an extra day (the morning of our check out) and were told it would cost $25. We paid it at checkout. When we exited the parking lot later that […] day, we were charged another $12. Elevators were extremely slow. Explanation that a maintenance strike was ongoing didn't really explain the delays. my stay at this Hotel started off very wrong. We were new to this area and when we arrived was told that there was no parking available. we did have reservations so this should have been taken care of.Was told then to go and find other parking close by, so we did and lost our money in the parking Kios. Found security in another parking lot and was so […] kind to let us park on his lot. I've stayed at the Downtown Holiday Inn before and I really like it. The first room I got on this trip was very small but it was easily switched when I called down to the front desk. The Holiday Inn on Carlton St in Toronto was teriffic!. Beautiful, clean, near everything. The pool was perfect along with the exercise room. I really enjoyed staying there and would book it again in a "New York Minute".

Enjoyed the stay, however we were disappointed to be charged a fee for international calls despite having purchased a phone card. At the other 3 hotels visited on our vacation no such charges were made.

Room was very tight - we were two adults and 1 child and had to sometimes climb over the bed if one of us was at the foot of the bed. Bathroom was nicely updated but compact. The hallway to our room looked a little dated and was very stuffy.

Everyone was very curteous and helpful. We found not having a place to get off the road to register very inconvenient and it was difficult to see the signs of the Holiday Inn until you are right on top of it.

Very convenient location, good value, however I stayed at a time when the elevators were not in good repair. Not the fault of the hotel, really, but took away from the stay.

The room that was assigned to me faced North. The window was tiny & dirty. The view which was obscured by a screen looked out through a narrow gap in the building to the distant street. The desk clerk was more interested in watching people in the Lobby and talking to her coworker than answering my question. Near center of town, clean hotel. Only one issue was two of their four elevators were not working so waiting for an elevator was long.

avoid the parking garage extremely tight spots and driving lanes 25 per night no discount ............. if u go out at night the sign says full even though you paid for 24 hours...........couldnt get my ticket to open the door and no one answered the buzzer for assistance....... had to back up and park on a surface lot on church street and pay a 2nd […] time ...automated garage so no one to help you out after hours Læs mere

Arrived at 7 pm - booked a king bed - was told it wouldn't be ready for 4 hours. Was forced to take 2 doubles in a teeny room. Was not happy. Will not rebook again. Poor management.

Great hotel to stay except it take at least half and hour to check in or out. Very slow front desk staff. They could add more people for that.

I stayed one night in early April 2013 and will never stay there again. The amount of noise coming from people partying in nearby rooms until 4:00am was unbelievable. The hotel staff were completely incapable of controlling the situation. Repeated calls to the front desk went unanswered. The security guard was no where to be seen and the girl at the […] front desk (when she finally answered the phone) was completely unhelpful. At check out, after a sleepless night, the hotel staff were unconcerned, unfriendly and repeated the same pathetic mantra I'd heard from the front desk clerk during the night: "it was my responsibility to change rooms in the middle of the night, not the hotel's responsibility to curb excess noise from unruly guests". That's a suitable policy for Animal House, not for a hotel. Add to that the high heat and poor ventilation of the rooms, and you have a recipe for a truly awful hotel experience. You've been warned. Stay there at your own risk -- unless you're planning an all-night drinking party with a dozen friends in your room, in which case the Holiday Inn Express on Carlton is ideal. Læs mere

I was in Toronto for a conference and didn't want to pay the downtown prices. The Holiday Inn was nice and a 2 minute walk to a subway that took me to the conference. It was 15 minutes from the time I left my room, waited on the elevator, got on the subway, and walked to the hotel downtown (Hyatt). Definitely worth it to save $60/night. The neighborhood […] had a nice selection of delis and Asian restaurants. The WiFi was fast and the indoor pool was a bonus. The fitness center is tiny, but I was the only person in there so it worked. I would definitely stay here again. Læs mere
