You will get a lot of personal service here - maybe a bit too much because there is a bit too much hovering for my taste. But they are extremely pleasant and helpful. The Internet signal, however, was very poor. For that reason alone - if you are traveling on business - you may want to reconsider. I had to work in the beautiful reception/lounge area.

Casa Cottage is centrally located in Bangalore. The standard is high. The hosts and all employees are very helpful. Breakfast fine. Atmosphere perfect.

"Le Meridien Bangalore"
The hotel was 'ok' - with the staff being friendly, however it failed in some areas. Firstly half the hotel was under renovation, which made the place very dusty & noisy. Hotels should specify that they are under renovation - and charge a fraction of their normal cost, as it is really unpleasant. The hotel sprays insecticide apparently every week in […] every room - it felt more often - which was a very strong smell. The location was not walking distance to anything but a golf course, hence not really convenient. The restaurants served very mediocre to poor quality food! Don't eat the sweet corn chicken soup as the corn tastes like little hard pellets, and no flavour. My son had something that was meant to be a pizza, but was a heap of tomato on top of a non-pizza bread thing. You're better off eating only the Indian dishes there, as the chef cannot cope with an international menu. We ordered grilled/toasted sandwiches from the sports bar one night, and got cold sandwiches - yes the bread was toasted, however something just does not work there. The hotel room cleaning service was ok, however forgot to replace clean cups for coffee & sugar just about every day we were there. They provided 2 medium sized bottles of water for 3 people every day - in a country where you should not drink tap water this just wasn't enough, and it felt rather mean. Did I say they were 5 star? Not sure why the small pool is closed at 7pm? Seems far too early for any hotel, particularly one that caters for business people, and says it is 5 star. The hotel is very dark as well. It has a nice retro 70's feel to it, however needs to be brightened up a bit to show off it's glass ceiling work. Generally seems tiered, needs sprucing up. Læs mere
"Le Meridien-Bangalore: Fall From Grace"
The hotel is decent. I have stayed here before and have a history with them. This time, the overall quality was less than what I remembered. They nickeled-and-dimed for every little thing, and my past history with them meant nothing. I have brought clients and co-workers there, and they simply did not want to extend me any courtesies. This was not the […] LeMeridien I remembered. On the first night, the hotel room smelled bad. They had no other rooms available until the next morning. Why would a 5-star hotel have a smelly room? It's not all it's cracked up to be. I am sad to see the Le Meridien Bangalore fall from grace. Læs mere
