Perfekt beliggenhed mellem lufthavnen og cruiseterminalen - gratis shuttle til begge dele. Lidt crowded ved morgenmaden, men vi var der også lige på det travleste. Dejligt stort værelse

The room was large and with everything needed. It did had a weird smell, as most of the hotel, though. Clean and no other problems. Great room. Describtion of the hotel was not accurate. There was no transportation except to airport, conference center and harbor eventhoug it said local transportation provided. No guided tours. No spa. Internet connection […] almost never running. Picture of pool area was not from this hotel. When complaining to hotel they just said sorry. But there was a laundry room which was not mension on Hotels.com. Breakfirst had a small variaty but was ok. There was not enough seats for all guests so we ended up taking the food to our room several days. Lots of restaurants, grocerystore, giftshops etc in walking distance. Also a playground nearby. We had to find it all on our own, though, as no one pointed it out to us. Too bad. A great spacius hotel for an overnight stay, but as a tourist with children and no car it did not live up to my expectations. We ended up paying A LOT in transportation. Læs mere

Although the room was nice, there was one TV shared between the sitting and sleeping area, so you either watched TV or not. Room was booked with a KING bed, but only full size available. Breakfast was nothing to brag about. Pool looked nice, but the group of painters working on the surrounding fence and the smell of paint drove us away.

We were able to rest and relax

quick nights stay. room was clean, staff were very welcoming. breakfast was good, could have had more choices like whole fruit if you're on the run or hard boiled eggs. the airport shuttle was great. very close to the FLL airport without the noise!

We enjoyed our stay. It was easy to get to and was very close to many different places to see and eat. The hotel was clean and comfortable. They were painting the exterior of the hotel so our window was covered with plastic. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay at and we will stay there again.

Hotel was decent was expecting a little more class from a Hyatt but was definitely not low class. Got in late at night counter people were very friendly. Room was very spacious. Next morning breakfast was adverage but very crowded. Maintenance started vacuuming around the eating area which was super loud and annoying. 'Geno' at the front desk was very, very hlpful. Amazing hotel for the price, Las Olas Beach/Boulevard is close by!!!

Hotel close to both the beach and the airport. I would ask to stay on the north side of the hotel if I were to stay there again. The view from the south is of a storage facility and a bunch of oil tanks. I like to have the window open and the storage facility seems to have a bunch of people hanging out there. This is a very comfortable, well appointed hotel. Room was large with a sitting room area. Good size desk was very comfortable to work in. Very nice breakfast in a beautiful breakfast area. Good quality, easy to access internet. If you got hungry at night, you could purchase food from their 24-hour deli takeout which included hot soup and sandwiches […] made to order if you needed that. They have a very convenient car service to take you anywhere within 4-5 miles of the hotel from early morning to 11 pm at night -- so going to meetings, the beach, the store, a restaurant is comfortable and easy. For one's car, there is a lot of safe well-lit parking areas at the front of the hotel. I also liked the fact that one could adjust the temperature in the room to achieve a comfortable, not too cold temperature. They have lovely touches like the wonderfully smelling soaps and shampoos in the room, good lighting for those of us who like brighter rooms and complimentary fruit in the lobby. I was alone on business but this room could comfortably accommodate a couple or even a couple with a younger child as it has a very comfortable "living room" with large seating that could also be a bed. Stayed the night before our cruise and the night after. Wonderful, helpful staff - good breakfast. Shuttle from airport and later to the airport was great. The shuttle to the cruise ship was great but could not get a shuttle back - we gave up and took a cab instead which was very reasonable although the driver took us to a different Hyatt Place first. […] We were also able to book a tour to the Everglades through the hotel who arranged a shuttle to take us there and back. Kim was outstanding, providing all the information we needed before we even had a chance to ask. Because we had an early morning flight, our room wasn't ready, so she locked up our luggage, provided us with suggestions on places to shop, and called us when the room was ready. Perfectly suited for a one night stay before going on a cruise. Free shuttle from airport, friendly staff, all basic amenities including free wifi & walking distance to two restaurants. Nicely appointed, tho not "ritzy." So close to port that cab ride for 2 people was actually cheaper than shuttle.

Amazing hotel, extremely clean, continental breakfast was included and lots of food to choose from. Location was great, the shuttle service from the airport and to the port was just amazing and so convenient (The shuttle drivers Julio and Warry were extremely nice !!). Just one downfall...the matress was not the most comfortable one, feels like a waterbed. We usually stay at Hyatt hotels....in Arizona & West Keys Florida...this hotel was a little run down & not as friendly.

The outside appearance looks wonderful. Great location as it is close to lots of great restaurants, beach, water taxis, etc. Very nice A.M. breakfast. However, my room was filthy! A dead roach was on the wall, bathroom was very small and paint was peeling off the wall. It takes numerous rings before the front desk will answer the phone. This hotel was a great value. The rooms were clean and ammenities fairly new. I had a suite with a sitting area & there was a small frig. The bed was comforatable and large flat screen TV. Would definately stay again especially for the Hotels.com special rate!

We had a great stay at the Hyatt Place. We loved the location, the layout and size of the room was beyond expectations, and the friendliness of staff was amazing. It was our first time staying at the Hyatt Place, yet the staff made us feel like we have been staying there for years. It was a great visit.

This hotel was a great find. We stayed there before leaving on a cruise. The free shuttle to the hotel from the airport appreciated. We followed the advice of other travelers and took a cab to the port in the morning. The cost of the cab was $11 plus a tip. The cost of the shuttle is $7 per person (plus a tip). My boyfriend and I stayed only one night but we will return whenever we visit Fort Lauderdale again... This Hyatt is close to 17th street and has a free shuttle within a couple mile radius. We got taken to Las Olas for the night and picked up once we were finished dinner. From start to finish the customer service was amazing... Here's the thing... This is a nice hotel, and it worked for my 1-night stay for work. Not sure I would recommend this place for a multiple night stay. The check-in counter feels like you're ordering something from a coffee shop, the breakfast is sub-par (again, "looks" nice, but the fruit had no flavor, very small selection, everything seemed out of […] stock and the staff just couldn't keep up with the slow pace of the crowd... that kinda stuff). Plus they ran out of red wine and just about every other drink. Again, it's fine for 1 night, and while the hotel looks very nice with it's decor, there are some really poor management issues here. I had a good experience staying at this hotel. I was happy that breakfast was provided and internet was free. Within walking distance of nice restaurants and shopping. Hotel was clean and staff nice enough!!

We stayed here for one night after visiting Las Olas. Nice room, had the feel of a suite almost. Has a hotel bar, but they were out of nearly everything which was a little disappointing. We are likely to return here on our next trip to Ft. Lauderdale.

the room was not clean when we arrived;:there was dirty towels in bathroom, hair on floor and someone's old food in fridge. When I complained the following day after the room was not cleaned they sent up housekeeping who just dropped off clean towels. The toilet had a leak and ran all night. Our first visit here was excellent, service was great, they let us into our room early, the room was clean and very nice. However the second visit was not as nice. We arrived early, our room was not ready understandably. The problems were the water didn't run, the toilet didn't flush, when I lifted the toilet there was pubic hair on it. This is very conveniently located for the Broward Convention Centre. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the convention centre. The Hotel staff were extremely courteous and the rooms were very nice. Had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the Hyatt Place Ft Lauderdale the day before leaving on our cruise. We picked the hotel for its location to the cruise terminal and that was the only benefit of staying there. We arrived at the hotel at 2pm (check-in time) and were told that our room was not ready. They told us to go have lunch somewhere in the area and come […] back at 3 when the room would be ready "FOR SURE" Arriving back at 3 the line at the front deck was 4 to 5 customers deep in all lines. We waited for 20 minutes and finally reached the front and were told the room was still not ready. The lobby was packed with customers waiting for the rooms to be ready. Finally at approximately 4pm we were told the room was ready. No explanation was given as to why the room was not ready. Getting to our room finally only to find it not very clean. There was mold in the bathroom and the carpet was stained in several places. Nothing was done for these issues and we were stuck with the room as is. The beds however were comfortable. In the morning a "continental breakfast" was offered. This too was overcrowded with travelers and the employees could not keep up with the about of people. Check out was similar to the check-in process. Long lines and the front desk people seemed to be overwhelmed or just clueless as to what to do. We checked out as soon as possible just to leave the property and sat in the cruise terminal for a few hours before boarding. Check in was super easy with their kiosk system. Just swipe your credit card, choose your floor and grab your keys. I love the rooms at HP. They are very modern and I love the sectional sofa in the room to watch tv. I would reccomend this chain to anyone, it's great everytime.

Hotel is great. Has everything you need, but nothing glamourous. It is very close to shops and restaurants in walking distance. The beach in Ft. Lauderdale is a few miles down the road, but I was able to walk those few miles to the beach, enjoy some drinks at the shops and restaurants along the ocean and get a cheap taxi back to my hotel afterwards. […] Very satisfied with my stay! The hotel is located near by several shops, ex: supermarkets, restaurants, clothing stores… The check in was very effective and we managed to get our room by 10:00am. The room was spacious but the air conditioning was noisy. We turned it off and a funny smell could be noticed. The refrigerator was not working… They gave us the option to change the room […] but we had so much luggage and we were so tired that we passed that. The cleaning of the room could be improved. The breakfast was just a chaos, a lot of people trying to eat at the same time and not enough room for everyone… It should be better organized…. The hotel has a very valuable employee and his name is Jeffrey. He works at the reception desk and he is the one who really makes things happen in the hotel. He is really worthy!!! Læs mere

Unfortunately the shuttle took over 45 minutes to pick us up. After waiting so long we were not happy. The staff was very apologetic. We slept well but found our bathroom somewhat unclean. I would probalby not stay there again.

The room was suite-sized, a very good deal for the rate. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the shuttle to Port Everglades and back.

This hotel was very modern, clean, shiny, and very cool. It was cool in that the interior of the lobby, eating areas, and our room was very up-to date. I stayed at the Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale 17th Street Convention Center 1851 SE 10th Avenue on the night of Dec 31 2011 - January 1st 2012 Before I checked in to the hotel I called the front desk and spoke to a young woman named Kim she was very helpful, and polite. When I returned it was one in the morning on NYE night and it was almost impossible […] for me to get a cab the young guy at the front desk offered to call one for me and said he would call my room once the cab was there. He said it would take about 15 min but within 10 min he was already calling me back to let me know the cab had arrived his name was Gino. Last but not least was Brittney she should be a model of customer service to all. Everytime I saw her she had a huge smile on her face, and if she wasnt helping me out its because she was attending other guests she is really great, and made us all feel welcom. keep up the good work guys!
