The room was large and with everything needed. It did had a weird smell, as most of the hotel, though. Clean and no other problems. Great room. Describtion of the hotel was not accurate. There was no transportation except to airport, conference center and harbor eventhoug it said local transportation provided. No guided tours. No spa. Internet connection […] almost never running. Picture of pool area was not from this hotel. When complaining to hotel they just said sorry. But there was a laundry room which was not mension on Hotels.com. Breakfirst had a small variaty but was ok. There was not enough seats for all guests so we ended up taking the food to our room several days. Lots of restaurants, grocerystore, giftshops etc in walking distance. Also a playground nearby. We had to find it all on our own, though, as no one pointed it out to us. Too bad. A great spacius hotel for an overnight stay, but as a tourist with children and no car it did not live up to my expectations. We ended up paying A LOT in transportation. Læs mere

Hyatt Place in Ft. Lauderdale on 17th was a great hotle for my stay for the Convention. The desk staff were kind of fun to be around and the shuttle service was just great. They ran me all over (within 3 miles) for my convention, that meant everywhere I needed to go. But the shuttle staff was so courteous and the desk staff were just so nice about it. […] There's only one shuttle, but they keep it moving all the time and there is little wait time to go anywhere. I was extremely satisfied with the Hyatt Place. I stayed at this hotel in the past(3-4 years ago), but wasn't overly impressed with the hotel(satisfied, not blown away). This stay, however, everything was great! New carpet? More offering at breakfast? Renovations? I don't know what changed, but something did!

We loved the hotel. Great room, nice and roomy and comfy beds! Our only complaint is the freezing pool... we thought it would be heated but no luck. Otherwise, no complaints.

I will definitely stay at this hotel again. One person had an allergy to cats and even though this was a pet friendly hotel he did not have any problems. The room was nicer than some of the four star hotels we stayed in prior to this.

The location was very good. A lot of restaurants within walking distance and a Publix. The beach area is too far to walk but you can take the Trolley for 0.50$ one way or take the hotel shuttle. The free breakfast was good with fruits, bagels, donuts, yogourt, pancakes, eggs sandwichs, cereals, oatmeal, tea and Starbuck coffee. The hotel was nice, comfortable, quiet, and at a great location; not far from the airport and very close to the cruise ship terminals. The front desk was a little understaffed and there was a little wait time to be helped, but the desk clerks were very nice and friendly. They were just not enough desk clerks and too many people.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay in the Hyatt in Ft. Lauderdale. It's clean, spacious, and the complimentary breakfast is a bonus. Before I booked through Hotels.com I called the Hyatt Hotel to find out about transportation to our Cruise ship. I was not aware that there wereseveral Cruise ports. When I asked if the transportation to the Cruise port was complimentary I was told yes. As a result I wnet ahead and booked it. I amde arrangements with the hotel regarding what time to […] be picked up. We were picked up and taken to our Cruiseship in Miami. When getting off the shuttle I was asked for $70.00. This hotel is great if you are in for a special stayover. airport and pier shuttle. I wouldn,t want to spend more than a night. the pool is not one you would want to spend an extended time enjoying the pool. It seemed the entrance was over crowded and the breakfast was great but too much congestion with the check in right there. I think the desk personell […] could use a more polished appearance uniforms otherwise I was very happy with the room very clean. not close to the beach and if you decide to go they have a city trolley but make sure you know which number to catch to and from the hotel otherwise you will be going in circles the cost is only .50 but can be a long wait if the shuttle is full half hour between stops. If you have a car this is a great hotel close to nice restaurants and the beach is just a few minutes by car away. The rooms are big and well equipped looks just like the pictures :-)

enjoyed our stay staff were great!!! the room was large and clean and the hotel seems to be well run only thing the shuttle doesn't run early in the morning so we could not use it for the 5am airport trip.so i needed to call a cab and spend 20$.the shuttle should start earlier ,seeing as this is a hotel near an airport and is a tourist area.

Awesome hotel, great breakfast, awesome staff! They dont seem to promote the free shuttle service they offer but it was fabulous...they took us back and forth to the beach, cruiseport and airport! I was pleasantly surprised about this...I thought they only offered service to the airport!

Location is close to cruise port and close to shopping area which had a supermarket, numerous options for dining are also in the walking vicinity. Airport shuttle was very convenient, unfortunately the shuttle did not pick up from cruise port and was unable to drop off at the beach. Rooms were spacious, would definitely stay again

Easy checking in as expected. Used cart to move our bags to room with ease. Room was very large and comfortable with a couch, desk, bar area, large screen tv and a very good size bdrm and bath. Morning breakfast was quite extensive and enjoyable, some of the hot items changed during our three day stay. There was always plenty of staff available and […] the coffee was HOT. Lobby area is too small for breakfast time. Not enough room or table to eat. Shuttle to Airport is good. Thought pool was heated but didn't feel like it. Good restrauants within short walking distance or short ride. Only about 8-10 minutes from beach and easy drive.

Staff was rude especially after we went to the first room and found out it was only a double bed when we paid for and our receipts said it would be a king size bed. first i was not happy when i called form the airport to get to your hotel,it took three calls and 45 minutes to get picked up,then we got to our room only to have the bathroom toliet flood all over the floor ,we contacted the front office and they were not very quick to get the problem fixed or were they very friendly,not a good impression,i would not […] go back here or suggest this to anyone.for what we paid we should have had better service. This was my 3rd stay at this hotel. I use it for business associates flying in to Ft. Laud airport. Super Clean, Accommodating Staff, and close to Restaurants. Great for biz, family, or vacation.
