Ligger suverent ned til havet, hvor delfinerne hoppede. Så flotte solnedgange. Ungerne hyggede sig både i poolen og i havet, som var OK-børnevenlig.

hotellet er lidt træt da ejeren ønsker at rive det ned og erstatte det med ferielejligheder, heldigvis har boligkrisen sat en stopper for projektet. Med en placering direkte på stranden, med egen parkeringsplads, svømmepøl og gæster der kommer igen og igen år efter år, er man som en del af en stor familie, da man også bor meget tæt er det jo bare fint! Hotellet har en meget fin rengøring og det er det! har du forventning om 5* service, er du klart gået forkert... Der er ingen anden service end rengøringen! Morgenmad foregår nede på Hess tanken (7 mins gang væk), her får man fin kaffe og donouts, dem kan I tage med ind til inner bay. Frokost og aftensmad er vanskeligere, i gå afstand findes Dockside Daves Grill, Lobster, i bil kan man tage til Johns Pass og spise på Hooters, og se delfiner samtidigt! Ellers er alternativet at tage til Publix (7-10 min i bil) og købe færdig sushi. Super sted til i diskrete omgivelser at dyrke veninden:-)

Clearwater er globalt hovedkvarter for Scientology-kirken, der krediteres for at have genoplivet midtbyen. Kirken har hovedkvarter i Fort Harrison Hotel, en skyskraber fra 1920'erne, der engang var det fineste indkvarteringssted i Clearwater. På den anden side af gaden fylder Scientologys imponerende Flag Building en hel blok i begge retninger. St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport ligger sydøst for midtbyen.

Det er et motorvejshotel - men der var rent og pænt og pool områden var fint. Personalet var venlige og hjælpsomme - DOG var morgenmaden dårlig, men den var trods alt inklusiv i prisen. Vi var der kun en enkelt nat da vi var på gennem rejse - men kan klar anbefales for en nat eller to.

My short stay was excellent, Very good environment, great location, and many food options in the area. There are beaches close by and the hotel’s swimming area is family friendly. If I return to Clearwater, I will be staying at The Clarion.

Highly recommend upgrading to a suite (we switched after the first night), much more room, separate living room, bigger bathroom, and own patio space. Hotel is very clean, but make sure you wear shoes/slippers as floors will leave your feet black. Pool is good-size so you dont feel crowded. Hotel is very quiet even though next to highway. Close to a […] mall and many restaurants (we especially liked Carrabas and Joe's Crab Shack). If you want pizza take a drive over to Paul's Chicago Pizza (its awesome). Breakfast was minimal (eggs, oatmeal, pancakes, toast, cereal), orange juice is actually sunny D, would have been nice for their restaurant to take breakfast orders, so you could have a bit of variety when you stay a week or longer. There are no signs letting you know where to get pool towels, they are at the front desk. Loved the sleep number beds, but the room we stayed in, the box under the mattress would make noise every time you moved. We could not use guest laundry because the dryer was broken. When we told staff they said nothing could be done because its owned by an outside vendor and we would have to wait until they came to fix it. Although when we mentioned that the towel bar in the bathroom was loose and fell off once, they fixed it immediately. Læs mere

restaurant had good service but was out of a lot of things. Front desk staff could not provide adequate directions on how to access the hotel from the highway.

"Family Vacation :)"
This was a long due family vacation!! We have never stayed at the Clarion Inn. I will say, we were truely satisfy with the cleanliness of the room, pool area was perfect very cleaned and organized, with the Hot tub.. "Nice Hotel but BAD neighbors"
The hotel itself was nice. I don't particularly like outside corridors, but it wasn't bad. The problem we had is the drunken people in the room next to ours. They kept us up all night fighting, until the police came and arrested them....

"Impressed..clearwater clarion.."
I was searching a searching for a decent hotel for my kids and I. I found this hotel through a app on my phone. It had low ratings; so I was worried about what to expect. When we walked into our room it was absolutely amazing. I would go back to that hotel anytime!.

The hotel is clean and comfortable with a staff that is friendly and helpful. The pool area is a good size, as is the pool. Breakfast was good and fresh. With in walking distance of Bright House Field at a much better rate and quality than others just a little closer.

Ideal location for those interested in baseball spring training. Easy walk to Brighthouse Field and the Phillies training complex. Across the street from the famous "Lenny's" restaurant for breakfast. The hotel shows some age and wear but my room was excellent, very clean, great service, very nice and helpful staff. "OK - but not 3 stars"
This is not a 3 star hotel. We did not stay in a suite, so maybe they're nicer. The heating /cooling system was either frigid or too warm and was so loud it woke you up every time it turned on. The shower control valve would continue past the "off" position and continue to run. The TV had 30 fuzzy channels. The free breakfast left a lot to be desired. […] We only ate there the first day. The exterior looked like it had recieved a facelift, but the room interior was in need of updating. This place have a grate location but is overprice for the type of accommodation. Is not a 3 stars at all is 1.5 or 2 top. The carpet was dirty and the room had a particular bad odor. "The Clarion in Clearwater -satisfactory"
We stayed at the Clarion in Clearwater. It was satisfactory for a one-night stay. Our room was clean, with a nice desk for business uses. While offering a bit more for the continental b'fast than other places, the cleanliness of the dining area could have improved. The highway is under construction which made it inconvenient but it was close to family. The only thing that bothered us was the young adults partying on our floor and running down the balcony halls. Very annoying. Also the air conditioning unit was unbearably loud. It was hard to hear the tv when it came on. The room was very clean and the Sleep Number […] bed was comfortable. "Clarion, Clearwater"
This hotel was given a 3 star rating and was anything but a 3 star property. The staff was unfriendly, almost downright rude. The housekeeping staff was the friendliest of all staff that we had contact with.. The carpet felt dirty so I wore my sandals the entire time we were there. The stay included breakfast but you had to have a voucher to attend […] and you couldn't go at separate times because they put the number of people on the voucher. and wouldn't accommodate coming separately and were not pleasant about it. The bed had issues, the towels and toilet paper felt like sandpaper, there was no hook in the bathroom to hang a robe. When I asked for extra towels I was told they couldn't leave the front desk in a pretty rude manner. They did end up bringing the towels a little while later but didn't appreciate the rudeness. "Mixed review"
I traveled with my handicapped father and reserved 2 rooms. The handicapped room was almost as far away from the main building of the hotel as it could possibly be. Seemed a little poorly planned to have a handicap room so far away from everything. The room itself was nice that it had microwave, small fridge, and sleep number beds. However, there were […] live and dead roaches in the bathroom as well as one on the coffee pot. Yes, it's Florida and there are bugs, but this room obviously had a bug issue. Instead of getting a room next to my parents we were on the 2nd floor above them. I guess it was ok that we at least were in the vicinity. Their breakfast "buffet" is smaller than most continental breakfasts offered at almost every hotel, so nothing to get excited about there. The second room was fine except that at 3:30 in the morning a group of people who had just checked in were STOMPING up and down the stairs repeatedly and every step could be heard through the door...as well as every siren that went by. I have stayed here 2 times now and the only difference this time is that we found alot of small bugs in the room. Everyone was really nice to all of us that were there from our group that was staying there. I hope to stay there again.

The check-in staff was pleasant and helpful. Our room's air conditioning was not working properly. They were very accommodating and upgraded us. If you make reserv on line then you have to give $100 dep at check-in.
"Good for price-hard to get to"
I was satisfied with the hotel overall. My husband and I were looking for a pet friendly hotel close to the beach and that's what we got with Clarion Inn and Suites Clearwater. My only problem was the sheets were dirty when we checked it. Luckily there was a maid two rooms down and she promptly came and changed the sheets.
"Beware of uninvited guests and"
You can find uninvited guests as soon you enter the room. We found atleast five roaches on the bed. The A/C won't work and it took atleast half an hour to start and it would take a break every 10 minutes and take another half an hour to start again. I'm not sure if they are trying to save energy and make an impact on the environment.

The employees were very professional and helpful. The breakfast was very good and done well and the food was hot and tasteful. Our stay was enjoyable and being able to look out and see the pool was wonderful and relaxing.

We stayed at the Clearwater Clarion with our 2 children and our golden retriever. The room was very clean and the fee for bringing our pet was only $20. In addition, we were very pleasantly surprised by the restaurant at the hotel - the food was delicious, large portion sizes, great service, and they were very friendly to our children as well.
