This was a very nice 2 star hotel. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and it was close to where we needed to be. I liked that our room did not open to the outside of the building, I felt very safe. The only thing I would recommend would be a breakfast bar, preferrably with texas waffles! Lol

The staff is rude. Not once did they say hi to us. The room we were originally in flooded and they had no plunger moved us to another room and that one was flooded and when i told the lady at the counter she made me feel like I was putting her out for doing her job. Never got maid service once and when we did see the maid she was busy yelling and screaning […] on her phone. Also, when i went down in the morningI for coffee that was "free" there wasn't any, the staff guy didn't make any until he was leaving and needed to fill up his thermos with coffee. We will never stay here or any red roof inn again seem ike you have to have an attitude to work at this place. I am sorry but you need to let people know about this property. Very nice for the price!

This was a very inexpensive hotel booking. I pretty much got what I paid for. The room wasn't too bad, but when I checked in there were no towels and a used towel was still hanging from the shower rod. I went to the front desk and told them immediately and was assured it would be taken care of. I went out for a few hours. When I returned, there were […] still no towels and the dirty one remained. Again I told the front desk. After going out and returning later, still no towels, I got a couple hand towels from the front desk. In the morning I had to return again to get towels from the front desk clerk. Also, while my teenage boys were waiting in the parking lot during check-in, a car drove by and offered to sell them marijuana. The bed was pretty decent and the hotel itself was quiet which were nice...but I doubt I'll return. Læs mere

The hotel was mediocre but I would not go back!!! The receptionist was rude and not very friendly. She paid more attention to her friends than me, the customer!!!

This hotel was located in a central area to gave you access to the freeway. Lots of shopping amenities around and 15 minutes from downtown. Great for the price paid.

I stayed one night at this location on business. I was attracted to it for its low price. The location is perfect. Easy access to highway's, and great resturants near buy. The Hotel could use a few upgrades like flat screen TVs, better linens and towels, and irons or fridges in each rooms. But the staff will lend you a small board if you want your shirts […] pressed. i would give it 3 stars out of 5. because of its location. Læs mere

OK for the price.

The room was clean,. the staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. You can't ask for much more than that!

I liked where it was located, and all the businesses around us but the room was not very clean, the tubs where gross, certain buttons on the tv remote would not work and the safe in the room didn't work either. I payed for a certain room but somehow when I showed up it was no longer available. Oh and bugs in the stairwell. But I would probably go again, […] just get a different room. Læs mere

Good for the price,minutes from downtown,plenty near it to do.especially if you play pool. Fast eddy across hwy. Only drawback- hard to get anywhere with limited road access around motel. Overall, will use UT frequently in the future.

Be aware that the A/C unit doesn't turn off automatically. The A/C is also very loud.

The hotel had bugs everywhere in the room! There were people loitering in the hotel parking lot most of the night. We were afraid to sleep for fear that our car would be broken into.

it was a rundown dump. vehicles get broken into.not a good hotel

This Red roof inn was vey nice and clean for the money. The bed was very comfortable, as well as the pillows. The WIFI made connecting to the internet quick and easy. I was very well satisfied.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget or just passing through Houston. The hotel is conveniently located with lots of restaurants nearby, has inside room access, and the staff has always been friendly. The only downside of this hotel is the fact that the property is a bit older with some smells, some need of repairs, and more attentive […] cleaning in the common areas. However, my room has always been clean and I have always felt safe. If you can live with the negatives for the price, then this is the hotel for you. Læs mere

Carpet so dirty it was slick and shiny. Room was huge with large work area. Bed masters old and lumpy, even lop sided from wear. No continental breakfast only tea in room and coffee downstairs. Front desk staff loud and talking bad about management team and hours instead of working.

This hotel provides a good value for the money. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I were o a budget. Close to shopping and lots of restaurants.

This was my second time staying at this hotel in about a weeks time. My stay both times were very nice. Staff was pleasant. Had an issue the first time with the bathroom light not working, second weekend everything was working in the different room. Wish that they had at least a small complimentary breakfast but for the price of the room I really cant […] complain. The kids love the outdoor pool that is always nice and clean. I will be staying here from now on when we go to Houston and the surrounding areas. Læs mere

Out of 3 consecutive night stays in this hotel booked through hotels.com 1 rm was not what i had booked. And the front desk clerk without a name tag promised the right rm but never came through! when i reminded her the next day @ checkout, she seemed careless and didn't even say sorry at the least! When I got there, they gave me a room that was left a shambles by the previous residents. Still champaign bottles and towels everywhere. The bed wasn't even made. I called and they said "sorry" and sent me to another room. That room was nicer except the cleaning lady forgot to get all of the cleaning towels out of that room. The room was ok for the price I guess, I didnt get the one I reserved but hey I did get a room! The front desk clerk activated the key to the wrong room so we had to wait for that to be fixed and ended up switching rooms altogether,it was a little musty in scent and there was a lack of clean towels!! The ac we had to have on 65 to keep the room feeling like it was 70 very hummid. The blankets had a quarter size burn hole in it. The shower made a very loud noise when it was running. There was a dead bug in the light cover. The light took about 2 minutes to warm up. I only got 2 towels and 1 wash cloth. No hand towels. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had problems with my TV when I first checked in and the front desk was helpful with getting it back in order. The check out time is noon, which is great and the room has a very nice office desk that I was able to use to setup my laptop. The wifi worked great and I had no problems with anything. But the hotel was nothing like others had described. It was very clean and very nice. Everything seemed new and fresh paint on walls. We got a really good rate. I have paid 4 times as much for other hotels and this one far surpassed the quality of those.

We enjoyed our stay and will stay again when we visit Houston. It is not the best but very reasonable for the price and the staff is very friendly.

Good for the price. The staff was nice and the room itself was clean and roomy. However, there were large cracks in the walls and burns on the counters.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights while on business in Houston. I thought it was much nicer than expected. Large room with fridge and microwave. FREE wifi (not very fast, but beggars can't be choosers). Pleasant staff, although I wouldn't say the service was anything special at all. This hotel was very clean and the service was great. Each and every staff person that we came in contact with was very pleasent and I would definately recommend this place to anyone who is staying in the Houston area.

A/C work great. Bed was comfortable. Carpets and bathroom very worn. Pool was ok.

My first room was very hot and smelly. They did move me the next day when It still had not cooled off. The AC here worked very well. Sadly this room also had a smell that comes from too much humidity in the air. Definitely not worth the price charged.
