Hotel Paris - Prag

Vi boede 6 dage på et executive værelse med en fin udsigt. Værelset var lidt lille og de to stole var ikke særlig komfortable. På et tidspunkt udløb vi for toiletpapir som ikke blev fyldt op i 2 dage og håndklæder manglede også. Dog blev dette rettet op i løbet af 5 minutter efter en opringning til receptionen. Hotellet ligger super godt i forhold til […] rådhuspladsen og der er liv i løbet af dagen men dejligt roligt om aftenen/natten. Rigtigt godt man stadig kan finde et ryger-værelse som ikke lugter af gammel ged. God air-condition. Læs mere

Intet var som forventet. Hotel Paris bliver solgt som et 5 stjernet holet, hvilket det langt fra kan sattes i kategori med. Det er simpelthen svindel med de 5 stjerner. Der er ingen til at hjælpe dig op af trappen og ind med din bagage (døren åbner udad). Sauna, spa og Fitness centeret koster over 500 ddk. at bruge inden kl 14. Det er kun gratis mellem […] kl 14-21. På det tidspunkt arbejder og spiser jeg normalt. Er jeg på ferie som denne gang, så er vi ude og se byens attraktioner og spise mellem kl 14-21. Når centeret er åbent ønsker jeg også at kunne bruge det (jeg har betalt for 5 stjerner). Bor man på 5 sal, kan jeg fortælle, at det tager mellem 10 til 15 minutter at få varmt vand, hvis man tager bad udenfor "normal" badetid. Endvidere var deres flotte vask wc osv. ikke ægte granit, det var overtrukket med plastik look a like! Personalet generelt var ikke professionelle nok til 5 stjerner. We booked the hotel through hotels.com and we were not dissapointed at all. The location could not be any better since it was walking distance basically every attractions around. We could have chosen between Hilton and Hotel Paris but the latter was better located.

Centralt beliggende, gammelt hotel med en god atmosfære og gode faciliteter. Herunder en fantastisk morgenmads buffet. Levede fuldstændigt op til forventningerne.

Rigtig god beliggenhed - meget centralt og samtidig roligt. Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Morgenmaden er rigtig god, og morgenmads lokalet er fantastisk smukt. Jeg kan varmt anbefale et ophold på hotellet.

It was fine -- we did have to move rooms. As it turned out, "deluxe" can mean different things. Our first room was really tiny and did not match the photo they gave us. We asked to change rooms, and they were very accomodating. Great breakfast buffet!

We were very pleased with this hotel. The room was nice, great breakfast and wonderful location. The staff was good not that friendly. When we visit Prague again would love to stay at The Hotel Paris very charming.

Beautiful Art Nouveau hotel. Great location! Across the street from the Municipal Hall,a block to the powder tower, and the entrance to the old city. the staff was very attentive, and extremely helpful, such as arranging a hotel staff member to drive us to the airport very early on the day of our departure. The hotel provided great service and accomodations in all respects. What stands out most, was that we had arrived by overnight train from Kracow and the hotel graciously and without hesitation checked us in at 8:00 a.m. The breakfast buffet was the best breakfast we had on our entire European vacation.

This was a fantstic hotel and I would recommend it to anyone. Perfect location, free internet in lobby, small but new gym and quiet rooms. The only negative is that the hotel uses metal keys so that isn't great for security and it is a hassle because you can only get 1 key for 2 people staying in the room. Hotel Paris is a wonderful, top notch hotel conveniently located. We enjoyed the big breakfasts, spa area and the charm and chararacter of the hotel. All of the staff with extremely helpful. Only thing to note was upon check out on our bill we were charged a hefty fee for "repair". We asked about it and they said it was b/c of the smoking damage to […] our window sill. Great Location-good buffet breakfast with room. Checked in late due to flight delay and was given an extremely small room--not what was shown on internet. After complaining, was moved to the room we thought we were booking-the following day. Requested an electric before arriving and finally got it on the third day-only one pot in the hotel. This hotel is perfect in everyway. The location, ambience, staff, helpfulness, breakfast. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I've stayed here several times over the past 30 years and it just gets better!!!!!!! It is perfect walking to the old town square and Charles Bridge. I give it a A+.

The experience at the hotel was wonderful. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast wonderful and the room a comfortable size. The hotel was just on the edge of the tourist district which made a great starting off spot. I would recomend it highly.

very happy with this hotel. only stayed 1 night but everything was very good from helpful front desk staff to excellent coffee in coffe bar downstairs. Old style architecture nicely preserved and not tarted up. Great location in centre of old town within walking distance of good restaurants and sights. Would stay here again for longer.

Lovely Art Nouveau Hotel built in late 19th century, surrounded by similar very impressive Art Nouveau buildings. Within walking distance to the main sites of Prague. Fifteen minutes walk to the Old Town Square. Staff were wery friendly and helpful. Had free WiFi in the lobby and Cafe. Recommend their teas and hot chocolates in the cafe if you want […] to do some internet surfing on your laptop or iPad. Our stay was fantastic, the staff friendly and very helpful. The rooms were extremely comfortable. I would recommend the tasty breakfast that would keep you going all day. The hotel was extremely handy to both old and new towns. It was a delightful stay. I would highly recommend the hotel Paris to anyone staying in Prague.

I spent the weeding night with my husband and had a small celebration in the Salon Petit. The service was excelent. The hotel has very good conditions for events and to expend your time there. It has a good location. I always will have a good memories of my stay there. Highly recommend it.

My wife and I had a great stay in one of their Deluxe Rooms, decent size, comfortable bed, very nice furniture and materials in the rooms, soft cloth wall-covering was beautiful, very nice bathroom with radiant floor heating. The decor of the entire hotel is very well done if you like the art nouveau style, only issue we encountered is that we were […] going to eat at the attached Sarah Bernhardt Restaurant on our last night (a monday) and found that the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday during the off season, oh-well. Great location in Stare Mesto, just a couple blocks from Old Town Square, and right by Namesti Republicky, and across the street from the striking Municipal House. My husband and I loved this hotel - it transported us back to a bygone age with it's beautiful Art Nouveau decor. The staff were helpful and attentive and all spoke perfect English. The Cafe de Paris was a perfect place to enjoy an evening drink or a morning coffee and the Sarah Bernhardt restaurant was not only stunning on the eye but delicious on […] the palate. Hotel Paris is convenient, close to Old Town Square and in quiet street. Very handy for all sightseeing. The hotel building is art deco and very comfortable. Fabulous concierge who assisted me with booking alternative flights when Heathrow was closed. Can't beat the buffet breakfast, a real feast.

What a beautiful hotel and in the most perfect loction. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody and would definately stay there again on my return to Prague in the future.

This was a great hotel! it was very nice and convenient to nearly all of the sites in Prague! We can't wait to stay here on our next trip!

The Paris is a prague hotel at a very central location, next to the new town hall, and ten metres from a metro station - but very quiet also. The ambience is art noveau and not very modern - but very cozy. Breakfast is good, and the hotel has also a good and quite expensive restaurant

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Paris. It was easy to get to from the Namesti Republiky metro stop and within easy walking distance of the main shopping areas and Old Town Square. The hotel itself was gorgeous and the jacuzzi/sauna/steam room were excellent. The only downside of the hotel was that our room was small and there was virtually […] no space to put our suitcases. However, the rest of the hotel more than made up for it and we really enjoyed the bar and the Sarah Bernhardt restaurant. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning which was absolutely delicious! Classy, Art Deco hotel - wonderful public spaces - on dead-end street - good food - nice, but smallish, room - friendly staff - close to all the tourist locations (all within walking distence). Perfect stay in Prague! Would book here again.

The Hotel Paris in Prague is a true find. Although my room was small and the exercise facility was also quite cramped, the rest of the hotel facility and service was top notch. The art deco design was stunning and a true treat for the eye.

The staff at this hotel are top notch. They were very accommodating, they would open the fitness room for me after hours whenever needed and always steared us in the right direction. Great breakfasts!

We stayed at the Hotel Paris in October 2009 and it was a very enjoyable experience. This year the maid service was barely acceptable, the breakfast service was grudging provided and the quality of the food was much lower. Hotel check-in staff were friendly and helpful. The last day of our stay another one to the quests had left her door unlocked and […] her purse was stolen out of her room while she was using the bathroom. Hotel was immaculate. We had a lovely balcony with a view . Beds were comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful--everything looked brand new . This hotel is 100 years old and beautifully maintained. The lobby has couches and chairs with one computer (it worked on and off, so bring your own to use in the lobby, otherwise an internet connection in your room was about $50/day) and a small reception area. The "spa" has a whirlpool, small gym and what they call a "turkish bath" for plunging into after the steam or sauna; it's very cold! While they give nice towels, shampoos, etc, don't expect anything big. Our room had 2 beds which were slightly wider than a twin bed, comfortable mattresses with good lighting. The room had A/C and was very clean. The bathroom was sparkling, very large with a tub and bidet. We had a corner room and it had lovely views with large European windows that faced historical type rooftops. There were 2 closets, drawers and a safe. The buffet breakfast included eggs, sausages, bacon, grilled vegetables, salads, fruits, cheeses, cakes and lots and lots of choices. The area was elegant with white table linens. The disappointing part of this hotel was that the people at the reception desk were not very helpful nor friendly. As soon as we arrived the porter attend to our luggage and our check in was quick. The room A/C had problems so they upgraded us to a suite. The breakfast buffett was varied and delicious. Prague is a very compact city, everything can be done on foot and hotel Paris is very conveniently located close to Old Town Square. The hotel gave us good recommendations for food and restaurants and arranged for Opera tickets and drop service very efficiently. They were accommodating for early check in and staff was helpful. Enjoyed a lovely repeat visit to Prague in October for 6 days at the Hotel Pariz---a small, completing charming hotel that was beautifully appointed and perfectly located. We arrived early in the day and the check-in staff immediately accomodated us with a quiet room. We were within a few minutes walk to the city center, museums, the Charles River, […] and shopping. So glad we were not staying at Wencelas Square---which looked to have some nice hotels but in a busy and noisy location. Dinner at the Sarah Bernhardt Restaurant was excellent for both food and service: we actually had to return for another dining experience!! Would not hesitate to recommend for all travelers---with exception of families who might require a larger hotel facility. Læs mere

I really enjoyed staying at this beautiful and historic hotel. The service was great, and the included breakfast was wonderful. There is a metro stop right outside the front door, but it is easy walking to most of the key sights in Prague.

Close to all the sites; Great neighborhood and service!

This hotel is not the Four Seasons but is high quality and possesses the individuality and charm that a Hilton or InterContinental cannot provide. Great location, friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again.

とても素敵なホテルでした。エレベーターはとてもレトロで可愛く、まら、カフェやレストランも素敵でした。朝食はとてもバリエーションが多いです。お部屋はツインを利用しました。バスルームは広く、浴槽も大きくてビデもありました。また、市民会館がすぐ裏でクラシックコンサートを見に行ったり、旧市街広場も徒歩すぐなのでとても便利でした。乗ってませんがリムジンバスも近いです。プラハも素敵な町並みに合った素敵なホテルでした。wifiはロビーのみ無料でした。

Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl in diesem Jugendstilhotel - mitten in Prag in idealer Lage. Vier Tage ohne Auto, Tram, Bus, Metro! Das Zimmer war eines der kleineren DeLuxe Zimmer, aber dafür auf der Nordwestseite des Hotels mit Abendsonne und Blick über die Dächer auf die Altstadt. Auf Grund von Geräuschbelästigung in der ersten Nacht durften wir problemlos […] das Zimmer wechseln. Leider dämpfen die sonst guten Doppelfenster nicht alle Dröhnfrequenzen von draussen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, doch besonders durch die textilen Wandtapeten war stets eine Staubbelastung seh- und spürbar - gerade wenn die Abendsonne in das Zimmer scheint. Gestört hat es uns nicht. Gern genutzt wurde auch der kleine, aber gepflegte Wellnessbereich mit Dampfbad, Sauna und Whirlpool. Einen separaten Ruheraum gibt es ausser zwei Liegen am Pool nicht. Das Haus erscheint uns gepflegt, restauriert und strahlt ein erhabenes, aber doch nicht pompöses Ambiente aus. Die Parkgebühr ist zwar sehr hoch, angesichts der Situtation in Prag und des inbegriffenen Parkservices jedoch zu verschmerzen. Dafür war es ein Privileg, in diesem Haus übernachten zu dürfen, in dem auch schon der Dalaj Lama nächtigte. Das Personal war stets hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Am Frühstück gab es nichts auszusetzen. Alleine schon die Ambience in diesem Art-Deco- Restaurant ! Dieses Hotel hat wohl allein schon 30% unseres Prager Wohlgefühls ausgemacht.
