dejligt med 5 minutter til stranden og bagefter 5 minutter til gågaden lincolnstreet det var da bare helt fedt. art deco bydelen er også en oplevelse.

Plus: lækker pool og god beliggenhed direkte ned til stranden, tilpas tæt på Oceandrive osv., god frrokost i poolbaren. Minus: larmende aircon der gjorde vi måtte bytte værelse, her var det lidt bedre, men stadig ret larmende. Værelset var meget fugtigt og der var kakkerlakker. Tvet på værelset duede kun hvis strømstikket blev taget ud og sat i. Hele […] hotellet virkede noget nusset og trængte til renovering (mener ikke at dette bare skyldes stilen på hotellet - art deco). Serviceniveau blandt personalet meget skiftende. Parkering er dyrt og vi gjorde dette noget billigere på en af de mange nærliggende p-huse, desuden kan caféen overfor hotellet stærkt anbefales til måltider. Ville nok kigge efter et andet hotel til næste Miami-tur. Læs mere

Hotellet lå helt perfekt ned til stranden og tæt på oceandrive osv. I South Beach. Der var rigtig god service på hotellet, som var rigtig charmerende i art-deco stil og det var en fin pool. Der var dog to dårlige ting: for det første var der en dør mellem vores værelse og et andet værelse, så man kunne høre ALT hvad dem på det andet værelse lavede, […] talte om osv. Jeg har haft et 6 nætters hyggeligt ophold med konen på hotellet og er generelt tilfreds med hvad hotellet har bydt på. Jeg kunne meget vel besøge hotellet igen ved næste Miami Beach tur. Beliggenheden af hotellet er absolut det bedste, da det ligget tæt på de bedste cafe og shopping muligheder, mens de offentlige transport-muligheder også er perfekte. […] Den direkte passage til Miami Beach, igennem baghaven med en fin pool er også en fed oplevelse. Alt er dog ikke perfekt. Pas på med room cleaning, de er ikke gode til at vælge det reneste sengetøj frem. Gør dem opmærksom på det fra starten og eller enjoy ;) Læs mere

Hotellet ligger perfekt ifh. strand og by. Værelserne er store og rengøringen er i top. Personalet i receptionen er IKKE serviceminded. For dårligt at hotellet ikke har en aftale, så hotellets gæster kan benytte solsenge og parasol uden at skulle betale tredive USD for 2 solsenge og en parasol pr. dag på stranden. Der var for få solsenge ved poolen. […] Der er kun balkon til penthouse værelserne. Morgenmaden er dyr at købe på hotellet. Læs mere

Hotellet er i sig selv udemærket, ligger rigtig fint og giver god valuta for prisen. Men ALT koster ekstra, og personalet er ikke særlig venlige! - Parkering koster ca. 250 kr pr dag. - WIFI internet koster ca. 100 kr pr dag og virker kun i hotellets lobby. - Morgenmad ca. 100 kr pr person. Vi boede der 3 døgn, men fik lov at betale for 4 døgns parkering, […] fordi de havde skrevet forkert ankomsttidspunkt. Vi kunen endda bevise at vi sad på en færge på det tidspunkt de påstod vi ankom til hotellet, men det hjalp ikke. "Betal eller vi ringer efter politiet" var udmeldingen. Vi oplevede flere der havde problemer, hvor personalet var ligeglade og tørrede det af på gæsterne. Tag hotellet, men find selv en parkeringsplads. Ca. 200 meter derfra, kan du parkere til under ½ pris. Spis din morgenmad på cafe'en på den anden side af gaden. Den er SUPER god, og tilbyder gratis WIFI, som i øvrigt også virker i hotellets lobby. The location of the hotel is perfect. Right on Collins, close to everything. The beach is right there and the pool and spa at the hotel was great. It was OK for the price but not luxurious by any means. Its an old hotel. the carpet was worn, cracks in the wall, light switches worked sometime. no fridge or coffee maker in the room as stated and the WiFi […] did not work. One thing that really ticked me off was they charged for using the bath robes WHAT!!! But location and price was my main concern so i did get that. And the valet was excellent. Læs mere

The hotel is in a great location. It wasn't the cleanest and the Front Desk employees weren't the nicest, but the valet guys were very helpful. It was a good deal at the price.

My sister and I stayed at the hotel not expecting much. However, to our delight, the hotel was awesome. It was very clean and very nice. It was closed to many restaurants and places to have fun. Great place

This hotel was a cute stay. A place to rest your head while on the strip. If you are into artsy hotels with an d school feel, than this hotel will suit you. It is definitely in a great location!! I love that it was inexpensive and still right on the beach. Only downside was the bar area around the pool boasted about a happy hour that did not occur.

The sheets were dirty, furnishing were old and outdated, had to unplug lamps and tv in order to charge our phones. Will not stay here again!

Overall a nice stay. Hot tub and direct access to the beach is definitely a plus. Otherwise, don't expect too much. Rooms are smallish, bathrooms are old fashioned (cute and clean though), and walls are thin - typical for art deco properties.

Convenient location, close to a whole bunch of restaurants and really good service at the hotel. Will definitely come back a second time. Perfect for a getaway, rooms are very clean, specially that. I recommend this place.

This was our first stay at The Richmond. The location is awesome. The front desk staff is friendly and the bellmen were helpful and exceptionally quick. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The pool view is gorgeous and relaxing. The only complaint I have is that I asked to borrow a pair of scissors that I would return as we were getting ready […] to check out. Unfortunately, I was told I would have to bring the item to be trimmed to the front desk as they only had one pair. I would hope for the amount we paid for our room that we could be afforded scissor rental. Please buy your staff more scissors. Læs mere

First of all we had all that we wanted. Great hotel with a pool. Walking distance to beach. Had to pay 20$ for rental of chairs but that was ok - because once they were rented they were ours for the day. Make sure to keep the receipt with you because the beach staff is quick on trying to get their $$$ for the rentals. It had rained so we left the beach […] - once the rain stopped we went back and they wanted our $$ again. Luckily I did not get rid of my receipt. The hotel is in walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We would stay hear again. We got what we paid for and we were really satisfied. We would definitely stay here again. Airport to hotel (between 35 $ and 40 $) - this hotel has no shuttle service. Læs mere

The hotel staff were very helpful especially the front desk the room was clean and tidy it was very quiet with a nice outdoor pool and just 50yards from the beach.the hotel is very well situated in South Beach and i would have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to anyone my stay was very enjoyable.

Considering the price we spent on our four night stay here I wasn't expecting much, how wrong we were. The hotel was spotless and in a beautiful location. The staff were absolutely fantastic, helpful, friendly and made you feel welcome (especially the porters) and the rooms were cosy and well equipt. The location of the Richmond hotel is fantastic. Immediate access to the beach and a few minutes to the Ocean Drive. Parking garage for $ 16 per 24 hours close by (Collins Avenue about 3 blocks south )

From the moment you walk in, everything about the place feels and looks like a hostel. Their is old carpeting throughout the hotel, the ceilings are very lower, the staff of the hotel isn't professional, the restaurants are sub par and the hotel rooms are very outdated. The location is great. However, the photos make the hotel rooms look MUCH nicer than they are. My room had multiple stains on the carpet, and overall had the look and feel of a "worn" hotel. This would be fine if it hadn't cost the same as the rooms that I have enjoyed at other, comparable hotels in exactly the same neighbourhood. Clean and confortable. Groundfloor rooms may be affected by external noises early morning, but, it´s the kind of normal situation for this kind of room. I do recommend the hotel.

Location is the best. Lincoln pedestrian mall is a 5 minute walk. Ocean drive is a 10 minute walk. There is also a boardwalk on the beach you can take to Ocean drive. The pool at the hotel was nice. Hotel is on the beach but had to pay for lounge chairs and umbrella. Hotel gave a 50% coupon for chairs. Washrooms are small and water pressure is awful. […] Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. I made the choice to stay in the hotel based on location, very close to the convention center. The room was run down and the bed was very uncomfortable. The walls very thin and I could hear the guest next door to me snoring all night long. I supposed to stay 4 nights but left after two because I could not tolerate it anymore.

Great location. Beautiful pool and grounds leading right to the beach and boardwalk. Great small hotel feel in the Art Deco stile. This is our new South Beach destination.

Great place right on the ocean. Make sure to ask for the happy hour by the pool. They overcharge you if you don't. Showers in the room are very sensitive. They go from freezing to extremely hot very easily. Overall though it was a wonderful experience!

Staff went out of their way to be really welcoming. Hotel was an incredible deal for ocean front in South Beach. I got the standard room and it was a bit smaller than most of the expensive hotels in S. Beach, but it was enough for me. Also had a walk in closet which was nice. Hotel and room are done in a South Beach 1920's look, which I really liked. […] Lots of character. Outside space was super nice. Very calming with lots of palm trees, very nice pool and large hot tub. Super relaxing area outside. Cool lounge area at the back of the hotel too. Overall had a nice hip vibe. The only thing was that I could hear my neighbors at night but didn't lose any sleep. The service was terrible and the cleanliness around the pool area was non existent. Housekeeping comes around 5pm when your getting back from the beach. Terrible experience, Will never stay there again.

Richmond is in a great location... i love that the beach is steps away , shops, restaurants,and Lincoln Rd. I would definitely stay again had a great time , the pool was very relaxing , the staff was very cool as well.

The Richmond is an older hotel that is very well kept. It had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. We didn't have a car and didn't even need one. There is plenty within walking distance. The hotel staff was very friendly and most importantly the hotel was immaculate. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again if we travel back to the Miami […] Beach area. Læs mere

Great stay. Room is comfortable, clean. Pool area is very nice and has a direct access to the beach. Walking distance to Lincoln Rd. Very attentive personnel, except for the two doormen the day we left...very unpolite. They need some training to keep up with the rest of hotel service.
