Good stay. Great room. NIce staff and great scenery.

The hotel staff were not too friendly. The photographs and decription of the hotel are greatly exaggerated. In other words, "not as advertised".

Bright, fresh, clean hotel within walkable distance to shops, museums & the pier in downtown St Petersburg. We had a standard King room which was compact, but comfortable & seemed to have most things with the exception of a safe. Staff were friendly & helpful, free parking on site which was a plus in the city although there seemed to be quite a few […] multi storey car parks close by that offered reasonable daily rates. thought Indigo was newer modern hotel chain-- WRONG - this one st. petersburg, fl. is a rundown dirty old bldg.- 1st room, bathroom too small to enter- 2nd room larger, but- dirty, mildew ceiling, etc. ad said free parking-- tiny lot --no spaces--tried to park in lot across alley - guy wanted $4.00 to enter- told desk this story-- she said lot belongs […] to indigo and she would report problem-- just a partial list-- Læs mere

we like the hotel for the convenience to the downtown area.the rooms were quite small but very comfortable and quiet. we enjoyed the use of the hotel bikes to see the city's wonderful bike trails by the sea.

This was a very clean, contemporary hotel, in a decent location with a friendly staff, but... my so called "leisure king" room was the most cramped hotel room I have ever stayed in. And sadly, it was one of the highest rates I've paid for a room. That was partly due to being high season, and I'm guessing some major events must have been in town that […] weekend. If you can afford a suite, your experience may be better. On top of being cramped, the corridors and rooms are overloaded with an explosion of multiple patterns and colors. I like whimsical design, but this was very overwhelming, and bordered on nauseating. You may want to take a motion-sickness pill before staying here. It's a restored older building, so that's one reasons the rooms and bathrooms are so tiny. The lobby was heavily perfumed. High-touch / high-sensitive people should not stay here. Læs mere

The hotel is close to the water front area and the main downtown area. It is within walking distance to many of the restraunants, museums, and the City Marina. We have stayed at this hotel before and were very pleased with the location and the comfort of the rooms. On our stay this time I did notice that the bathroom wasn't as clean as it could have […] been, and that the towels had have some holes in them even though they were clean. Even with the minor issues that I noticed it wouldn't keep me from going back there next time I'm in town. Læs mere

Had a great stay.very clean room which I expect because I clean houses..top priority.Nisha at the front desk very professional & sweet. Within walking distance to great restaurants & parks. An older hotel with some updating. The bathroom was exceptionally small. If you are planning to spend a lot of time in your room this is not the hotel for you. The lobby bar was comfortable, but lacking table service. All in all, I would return because of the proximity to Tropicana Field.

The location is great. Right near the marina area, the beach, outdoor cafes, and the Chihuly and Dali museums. Hotel decor was festive. The room was small but clean and pleasant and quiet. The hotel Indigo staff were nice and the hotel was clean. Bar drinks were over priced and the room was very small. Our car was broken into probably by one of the several homeless people that sleep behind the motel at night between the numerous dumpsters. Various items were stolen from my car.The hotel staff automatically filed an insurance claim and […] the insurance company Liberty Mutual called me two nights later to verify "my story". They told me I should not have parked in the hotel parking spaces and it was my fault that someone decided to break into my car.......typical for an insurance company. They also told me that if the person who broke into my car would have gotten hurt I would have been liable for their injury!!!! Can you believe that! I laughed and said I get your message you are not going to reimburse me for the stolen items. Please, I didn't file the report the nice people at the hotel did......but I will never stay there again. We found the hotel to be very nice. The rooms are small but very comfortable. Not much view out the window (parking lot). The bathrooms are very small but modern and workable. Great proximity to Tropicana and the Bayfront areas. We took a nice walk late at night and felt very safe and comfortable. the pool area was dirty, needed swept, and the need for shade was huge. last year there was a table/umbrella that was perfect! also the bar should be open at noon for sandwiches and drinks on weekends. tony

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. It was very clean, well maintained, the staff was very friendly. We had breakfast both mornings and we enjoyed it very much. The prices were reasonable. The location of the hotel was fantastic, near great museums. Also very close to restaurants. In all we were very satisfied.

We drove nearly 5 hours from South Florida, check-in was supposed to be 3pm, we arrived right at 3:00 and were told our room was not ready because the head of house keeping was busy doing inverviews, we were handed a brosure of the area and were told to go have lunch and come back. After the 5 hour drive we didn't want to go anywhere, so we waited until […] 3:40 in the lobby. When we got to the room we couldn't believe how tiny the room was, the bathroom was so small you could sit on the toilet, rest your arms on the sink and touch the wall of the shower all at the same time! Reminded me of a cruise ship. We went out for the night and when we came back all the parking was taken, so we had to park on the street. We were kept awake by noise from the next room due to paper thin walls. The only pluses were the location and the...well, that was it. Couldn't get out of there fast enough! Læs mere

Traveling through on a baseball tour and this location worked out well. The walk was about a mile and if you walk down central there are lots of bars and places to eat along the way. As far as the quality of the hotel it was good but I was there for baseball so the location and cost were really all that was important to me and both were good.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and will be glad to stay there again on future visits.

Great location in downtown St Petes. Quiet. Free Internet a plus. Nice continental bkfst. Easy two block to the waterfront and tons of great restaurants. Smaller rooms but well appointed and great air conditioning. Can't wait to return.

I'm a native to the area and needed a place to stay for the evening. I had no idea that this little gem was in downtown St. Pete! It is adorable and made me forget I was staying locally. It was like walking into a higher end hotel in Key West! If the opportunity presents itself, we will definitely stay here again!

Hotel Indigo in St. Pete is adorable...love all the color! Rooms are small as it's a refurbished old hotel but very quaint and location is ideal. Our room wasn't turned down Sat night and told when we checked out and they said they would send us a free night voucher so customer service is top notch!

The hotel was allright. The bathrooms needed to be a cleaner. and they are very small bathrooms. You can not turn around in them they are so small. the best thing about this hotel are the beds very nice.

The hotel was extremely dirty and run down. It looked like the carpet in the hallways had not been vacuumed in months. The wall paper was peeling and the place looked like it was falling apart. We were very disappointed as we have stayed at other Indigo Hotels and this one did not meet our expectations.

The Indigo was close to the events we were attending, our room was nice and clean with comfortable bed and pillows, the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, and we had a great time. We will be returning there and would recommend it as a clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay.

What this hotel lacks in size, it makes up for in shear coolness. It definitely has charm. THe rooms are small, and the bathrooms are about what you'd find on a cruise ship. But the bed and pillows are so comfortable. And it's very dog-friendly. I wasn't even charged the $35 pet fee since I had already booked online. The hotel had a very bad smell..possibly from old pipes. Every noise around the building can be heard. Light is always visible in the room from the hall way.

They had me down for a separate reservation for each night so I was going to have to change rooms. I got kicked to the back of the check in line so this could be resolved. When our sheets were changed out Saturday a sheet full of holes was put on our bed (with the holes at the foot in hopes we wouldn't notice). We went to the Red Sox game and came back […] and the parking lot was completely full of non-guest cars. Hardly any cars had the Hotel Indigo parking pass in the windows. When i went inside to ask the front desk if anything was being done about this I was told I could find somewhere else to park off the premises or wait for someone to move. This was at 11:30 pm. We had to park off the premises and were unable to see our vehicle. When we asked the front desk where the vending machines were we were told there wasn't one and we purchased 2 waters at the bar for $6. Next day we found a vending machine. Læs mere

I brought my family down and we had a great time! The rooms were small but very nice. The decor was excellent. And the staff were very very nice, helpful, inviting, and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

THIS HOTEL IS GREAT. HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. ROOMS ARE NICELY DECORATED. BEDS ARE ONLY TOO SOFT WITH NO SUPPORT.

We thought this hotel was a great deal for the price but it turned out to be a rip off. The rooms are tiny and not that clean. We found a part of a condom wrapper in our bed which indicated the sheets had not been changed. We were told we had to pay a $35 pet fee for our dogs but then had to pay $50 when we got to the hotel and the desk staff were unfriendly […] and unhelpful as well as rude to us about the change in rooms. We reserved a king bed smoking room and had to be moved because they gave us a room with two double beds and there was no smoking in the hotel at all. The hot tub was broken and felt like sitting in a bath tub with 3 other people. One of the housekeeping staff were the freindlyest out of evreyone in the hotel. Sound carries in this hotel and we were kept up by partiers. Overall this hotel was a rip off and we would not reccomend it to anyone! Læs mere

This a fine hotel, but with some quirks. The hotel restaurant dishes up some fine offerings, but refuses to offer a continental breakfast in the deal for the room. We had quite a spacious room, but the bathrooms are minuscule, with zero counter space. Quirky place, but the people are very friendly.

The rooms are small, but well kept. The service was execellent. This is an old hotel, so sound carries and the architectural features are a little quirky, but I had a pleasant stay with no complaints.
