This was the cheapest hotel I found when I looked in the Airport area. The price and cont. breakfast were just fine. The bathroom was nicely done but the beds are ready to be changed out. They were comfortable but they look sad. Not disappointed.

Vi havde lejet bil, og så er hotellet meget billigere end at bo i downtown San Francisco. Det er mere motel end hotel. Men det var rent, og morgenmaden var okay. Poolen er ikke opvarmet, så den er lidt kold. Undgå restauranten der hører til, den var pengene værd.

Et hotel som levede op til vores forventning. Det lå tæt på alt - men alligevel et stykke fra bylivet. Morgenmad var desvæære kun lige det aller mest nødvendige. Toast, morgenmadsprodukter, kaffe, mælk og juice.

Fin beliggenhed i forhold til lufthavn SFO

Billigste motel på vores tur, og det var good value for money. Det ligger lige rundt om hjørnet ifht. car rental center i lufthavnen, så det tager kun få minutter at nå frem, hvilket er rart, hvis man ankommer sent, som vi gjorde. Lidt nedslidt, og morgenmaden er ikke noget at snakke om, men der er frisk kaffe, hvilket er mere end på mange dyrere moteller. […] Kan anbefales, hvis man bare skal bruge et sted at sove og har bil til rådighed. Stemningen blandt medarbejderne virkede mildest talt ringe, hvilket gik væsentligt ud over service-graden. Der var kun Continental morgenmad. Billedet af hotellets restaurant har ikke noget med hotellet at gøre, men er en kinesisk restaurant, der ligger i sammen bygning. Morgenmaden blev serveret i et andet lokale med paptallerkener og papkrus, og medarbejderne […] virkede ikke særligt indstillet på give gæsterne en god oplevelse. Hotel was acceptable for just overnight stays. This is NOT a fancy hotel. Satisfactory complimentary breakfasts. Walls very thin. A lot of partying going on when we stayed there.

good and liked the fact that we could store our truck there for the time we took our trip.

This Hotel is clean and quiet for being minutes from SFO airport and Bay area attractions. Plus breakfast and free shuttle.

CitiGarden is a reasonably priced hotel near SFO. The airport shuttle goes twice per hour until 12:30 AM. Breakfast is meager and there were no coffee maker, microwave or refrigerator in the room. The room was clean, but the decor a bit shabby. We preferred the Ramada Limited for the same price.

Very run down - reminded me of an old Motel 6. It was late when I arrived, and I was tired so I went right to bed. In the morning, there was no hot water in my room. Apparently, the boiler had broken, and wouldn't be fixed for quite some time. I took a cold sponge bath and washed my hair in the small sink with very cold water. The hotel offered me NO […] apology or compensation for there being no hot water. The desk clerk simply said she was embarrassed because everyone was calling her. I, also, noticed that the bottom sheet had something on it, and not from me. I question whether it had even been washed, and if it had, whatever was on it did not come all the way off. The Continental Breakfast was very cheap - cereal, bread, plain mini bagels, toaster waffles; no fresh fruit (canned fruit coctail). I had a reservation for a night for when I was to return from my trip, as I would be getting into the airport so late. Just needed a room next to airport. The staff was good but the room was pretty run down. The bed linens were fresh and clean but the bed itself could use replacing. The carpet could stand to be changed too. The bathroom was updated and very nice. Overall, for the price, it was good. I wouldn't pay more though.

Of all the budget options I stay with for business, this is the most reasonable. It's basic, but clean and has reliable services.

They internet is not comp and it takes more bucks per ten mins to use the biz center. Break fast is c rappy. There are no shopping places or restaurnts around the corner. The one attached to the hotel swears by Octopus , Fish and Crab food only. Service is totally unspectacular - the front desk , like in most similar places in the Bay sounds more like […] a bouncer - bordering to rudeness. Not worth the seventy seven I spent. I have stayed at this hotel at least 30 times. And every single time it's a mixed bag. The beds are not equally comfortable, the a/c,heating units are not equally quiet. Overall it seems like this place is constantly improving, albeit slowly. For the first time there was no hot water when I took my shower at 7am on a Wed. The front desk said there was […] a boiler problem, which had been corrected by that evening. The bed was among the less comfortable, although acceptable. The heating unit was very quiet and worked properly. If I want 1000 tc sheets, pillowtop mattresses and Berber carpets then I don't stay here. If, however I want convenience, easy parking, decent coffee and free breakfast in the am I do stay here. It's a matter of priorities and how much you want to lay out for a room to sleep in. Pleasant location and campus. Older facility, but adequate and quiet. Excellent price.

This hotel was a great value. Clean comfortable rooms at an affordable price. It is right at the airport so overflight noise was a bit of an issue but that would be true of any of the hotels in that area.

This is the 2nd time I stayed at Citigarden Hotel so I am leaving a review now that I have been there twice. Pros: The rooms are nicely redecorated, the bed is pretty decent, you are only a few minutes from SFO airport. If it matters to you the main hall to the front desk looks great as well. The buffet breakfast consists of waffles, pancakes, toast, […] cereal, milk, coffee, orange juice, cranberry juice, and mini bagels. The garden in the middle area is small but decent. There is a Chinese food restaurant attached to the main lobby if you need something to eat. Cons: NOISE. I can't say this enough. From 10:30 PM until 12:30 AM (2 hours) it was 1 plane flying over every 2-5 minutes. I used ear plugs but it doesn't matter. It is SO LOUD. If you are a heavy sleeper you will do ok maybe. If you are a light sleeper than expect to sleep from about 12:30 AM until 6AM, since that is when the first morning flights start flying over. Other notes: My 2 different rooms had different issues. Room 338 had a 1 inch gap under the door of the room, and the other room (4??) was in the very back of their lot near a small pool which had a loud fan or motor pumping all night the time I stayed there. The breakfast was very good. Exceptional, really. The linens were old and the pillows were flat. Not huge problems.

Let me start by saying I am very picky about Hotels/Motels because I have had bad expriences in the past, but my husband on the other hand will stay anywhere you put him. The breakfast was great and I love the area you can sit in while having breakfast, nice comfy chairs and bright atmosphere. The pillows were flat but who cares, bring your own. I brought my own towels due to what other reviews had suggested and frankly I did not need my own, because I stopped the housekeeper and got everything we needed, we kept the housekeeper out due to what I have read about them leaving the door open by mistake after cleaning. Don't go to the restaurant to late due to the fact the buffet food is no longer updated and cold, but it served its purpose because we got in late. The rooms are not the cleanest, but if you want 5 stars go to the Holiday inn! But it served it purpose, I liked it, I would stay again for the price, it's about 10 miles from the city, so be prepared to drive, but the drive is very nice. Læs mere

Staff was friendly, and the room was decent for the price.

Rugs were filthy, may have been vacuumed, but not clean. Bathroom was primitive, no amenities,such as any place to rest toiletries next to sink. Bathroom flooded while asleep due to water leak somewhere. Were insects swimming in the water. We were evacuated to another room that was unoccupied but with a more modern bathroom. For the price the hotel was satisfactory. There is not good soundproofing so be prepared to get up early when your neighbours are showering. Front desk staff could be more welcoming, even at the late hour that we arrived. We would probably stay again for an overnight stay between flights.

This hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but the lobby Is nice. The hotel was very clean and overall it was a very good experience. The continental breakfast was ok although there was no fruit, donuts or Danish. The coffee was really good. The juice was a bit watered down My family complained about the juice many times. I booked the CitiGarden Hotel prior to a week-long trip out of town, with a stay the night before. Despite location right off busy freeway, hotel was quiet with a nice "garden" courtyard in the middle. The hotel is clean, well-run, and straightforward. The location to the airport is good. Short drive to San Francisco. Close to freeway access. The hotel location is not so great. I was worried about parking my vehicle in front of lobby, even noticed broken glass on floor. The room I received looked like it was an extended portion of the hotel only used on peak period. The staff was very friendly and helpful The room was very clean every day, the only "comfort" issue we had was the pillows are a bit small so we had to get a couple of extras but thet brought them in less than ten minutes and there was no problem. Our family expected more from what had been advertised on hotels.com. The lobby was very nice, but overall it wasn't a great or grand experience. It is a good hotel to sleep at, just like any budget hotel. I have had better breakfasts offered at cheaper hotels. Worst hotel service I've ever experienced. Not worth the cheap rate. Something is always wrong with the rooms, beds are uncomfortable, management is so rude.

Our stay here was pleasent. Very kind and helpful staff. We had there Two double bed room and it was clean except the carpet could of used a vaccum , ordered room service from local pizza parlor and the food was yummy, there shuttle staff were very helpful and courteous.

VERY WIDE OPEN BREAFAST AREA, LATE NIGHT COCKTAILS RIGHT NEXT DOOR, VERY CLEAN AND ELEGANT LOBBY. I WILL BE BACK.

Not only was the TV so small I had to squint to watch it but the bed was hard and the bed linens were stained and not sufficient to keep anybody warm.NO WI-FI services unless you want to pay a surcharge that was astronomical!DON'T STAY HERE!!!

Room and service where great, but the people next door to us not so much.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Our room smelled like vomit, so we asked for another room and got it, but that room also smelled like vomit. Totally seduced by the low price, but not worth the discount! Also had trouble finding parking one night.

The rooms are very small but clean and well maintained. There was a fee to use the internet. The buffet next door is pretty good. Plenty of parking and decent shuttle service to the airport.

Very dirty pillows and towels. Breakfast: poor choice and inadequate hygienic conditions. Tip: To go to San Francisco you'd be better off driving to the nearest BART station (South San Francisco, a 10 min. drive), parking the car there ($ 2 per day) and taking the BART ($ 3,55), instead of taking the free hotel shuttle to the airport and taking the […] BART from there (this solution is much more expensive). We paid one day use internet but could not get connected. We waste money and time.

Stopped in SF for a wedding in San Francisco, but needed to travel to Berkeley and South Bay. This hotel was placed perfectly, and at a great price.

I will stay again

This establishment has pretty grounds, and a lovely lobby area. I would recommend, as for the majority of economy hotels, to stay away from "handicapped accessible" rooms. These rooms are designed to check off a regulatory list what is needed, not actually more accessible. There may be room for a wheelchair, but it is at the expense of places to put […] luggage. Clothes racks are low--too low to hang a skirt or trousers without their dragging on the floor. The room was extra-far from parking. Thank goodness I don't actually need a handicapped accessible room! It was a mere inconvenience to me; I would have been extremely uncomfortable if I had mobility issues. We just stayed there for one night. The one problem we had was our key and the door sometimes it was hard to get in the door. The room was nice and big although it was hard to keep warm. The breakfast was nice and so was the workers. I would stay here for only one night
