First night continual dripping or pipework tap tapping noise. Next morning asked for room change and given one without any bother. Excellent level of service. A little bit further from the bus terminal than we thought but still within walking distance.

Lovely hotel, the room was split into 2 halves which is helpful for familes sharing a room. The car park is very small, fine for the autumn but I would imagine if you stayed in the summer you would struggle to get parked. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the staff at reception. We had requested a quiet room and we had a large room and very quiet. All the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was very good, we ate in the bar in the evenings and the food and choice was excellent. This hotel and it's position […] close to the shopping area was a very good choice. It was our first time to Jersey and the island and all the people we found very friendly and courteous especially when crossing the roads. We can thoroughly recommend this hotel. Læs mere

Staff are excellent - nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts were filling and tasty. Location is ideal so long as you do not have any problems walking. Shops/restaurants/bus station are all between 5 and 15 minutes walk on the level. On site bar also provides good food. Room was a good size for the prize and efficiently maintained. We were put in room 300 which was right next door to the 3rd floor lift. Not normally a problem, but the floor boards were so noisy & moved that we were woken everytime somebody left the lift, as they had to walk past our room to get to theirs (The Floor & Bed actualy moved as they walked by) even though we had 2 windows on 2 aspects The room was also […] very hot with no air con. Apart from that the hotel was clean but the bathroom could do with a bit of TLC. Breakfast was good (once they found you a table) Location was the strongest point of the hotel but the car park was so small & tightly packed that if we had taken our own car we would have paid to park it elsewhere. overall I would rate this hotel at 6/10 Læs mere

This is an excellent hotel in all respects. Without exception all of the staff were attentive and friendly. The breakfast service and quality of food is of the highest standard. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the centre of St Helier but there are chemists, convenience stores and resteraunts on the hotels doorstep. We were disappointed with the unsatisfactory wi-fi connection in our room. However, the staff were sympathetic, and offered us another room, but it seemed too much bother to move, so we used the wi-fi in the public areas. A refrigerator would have been nice in the room, since there was no way to keep drinks cold in the very warm weather. Hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent (lots of choice). Room was immaculately clean. Good bar area and food. Pleasant sun terrace. Hotel situated not far from restaurants, main shopping centre and Prom. Only downside was that our room was on the front corner of the hotel and the traffic from two busy roads was […] very noisy well into the night (with windows closed). On arrival we were allocated a good sized room at the front of the hotel but after the first night we asked to be moved as the noise outside kept us awake. We were offered a room at the back of the hotel even though it was considerably smaller and did not have a bath it was worth it to get a good nights sleep. We were delighted with this hotel and will probably stay there again in a future trip to Jersey. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The food was perfect. The room was great, though because of the heat in July we had to leave windows open at night, which meant those evil seagulls annoyed us. Do seagulls never sleep! The staff were all very polite,friendly and attentive. They looked after us very well and dealt with every request promptly, endeavouring to please the customer. They could not have done more to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. The hotel itself was very comfortable, but people with mobility problems would need to check the position of their room, […] as we were on the second floor at the side of the hotel and even taking the lift in the foyer of the hotel, we still had a long walk and stairs to negotiate; not easy with heavy cases. Towels and sheets were changed 3 or 4 times during our 10 day stay and the room was kept spotlessly clean. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service and choice of hotel. Læs mere

Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choice.Would certainly stay there again . Easy to walk into town. As its not a modern hotel it involves alot of walking up and down corridors if in the quieter/newer part.

BEST WESTERN ROYAL HOTEL St HELLIER. Good location, good rooms good food , best of all good staff all round, no demarcation as every body works together, with a smile and time for anyboby. Fair price given it's Jersey.

Although a little tired in some places in the main part of the hotel, my room was immaculate, very comfortable and the biggest bathroom in a hotel that I have ever come across. Food good. Only 10 minute walk to town centre so great location.

The hotel was, I thought, a little bit frayed around the edges, but I am prepared to forgive this as the staff were superb in all areas-reception-bar-restaurant and cleaners, very friendly and personable. The food was also excellent.

Stayed at this hotel for five nights.Situated in a good location at the back of St Helier.Whilst the hotel may have been refurbished in the past two years it has not been brought up to modern day standards.There is only one lift which is located at one end of the hotel.You face a route march to get to your room along corridors which have a series of […] steps and slopes with creeking floorboards to boot.Would hate to try and find a way out in an emergency.There is no swimming pool if you want one you have to go to the sister hotel 500metres away.The room we had was very well appointed with a comfortable bed extremley clean with tea and coffee making facilities in room,the downside was the shower which had no pressure whatsoever and was totally useless.The reception staff were very good and the food in both the resteraunt and the bar were excellent.The breakfast in the morning was buffet stye but again was of the highest stardard and the service impecable.In our opinion the hotel is of a very good stardard but not on par with other hotels that we have previosley stayed in in Jersey Læs mere

not a bad place to stay, the hotel was about a 5 minute walk from town, but a bit noisy during the night. It was hot and we had to have the windows open so that obviously didn't help. Worth a visit.

A good choice for St Helier. Within walking distance of downtown. Great bar food and service. Two desk clerks a bit snarky. Another waiter/general help guy was wonderful. Clean, enough space for suitcases in room, nice place to stay. This was our second visit with them.

The Royal Hotel in St.Helier, Jersey is a well maintained good-value-for-money hotel situated 5 mins from the town centre in St.Helier. I would recommend it to anyone.

Hôtel bien placé dans une rue calme à 5 min de marche du centre ville. L'accueil est cordial, la chambre propre et le petit déjeuner est copieux. De plus, l'hôtel dispose de places de parking réservées à sa clientèle. Bien pratique lorsque l'on dispose d'une voiture. Le Wifi est gratuit mais le signal est trop faible pour surfer correctement.
