Fint hotel til prisen. Der blev gjort rent og holdt hele tiden under morgenmåltidet, meget flot - modsat andre hoteller. Vaskemaskine virkede desværre ikke, men i nabolaget var der et fint vaskeri.

Pænt og rent hotel. Venligt personale. Stort værelse med to dobbelt senge, stort toilet med brus. Morgenmaden var OK men engang imellem manglende der lidt børd m.v. men det var hurtigt klaret af personalet når det blev sagt til dem. Skulle jeg samme sted hen i Ohio en anden gang kunne jeg godt finde på, at vælge dette hotel igen.

They are currently remodeling this hotel. Our room was complete. Hotel was quiet. Last time we stayed here the hotel greatly needed an update so I'm happy they are getting to it. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

"La Quinta Cedar Point"
There were no "do not disturb signs" and when we asked the maid service for basic things, like toilet paper, we never got any. The room was much larger than the furniture in it, obviously things were removed....such as a fridge. The coffee maker was in the bathroom. Our stay was what I expected for a room of that price. Nothing fancy, a nice, clean, somewhat up to date room. Better than average.

Great location and clean room. I would like a fridge in the room. But the rest of my stay was great
"Good budget place to stay"
Hotel was clean, had a pretty good breakfast bar and everything worked well. It is pretty close to Cedar Point and there is plenty of restaruants in the surrounding area to eat at. The Friendlys Ice cream across the road has the best ice cream malts.
"LaQunita near Cedar Point"
When we arrived they gave us a smoking room, I'm not sure if this issue was caused by LaQunita or Hotels.com. We asked for a non-smoking room and they said they could not move us because the only non-smoking rooms available were a different class. Since we had booked through Hotels.com this wasn't an option, if we had booked directly through their website […] their apparently wouldn't have been an issue. The room was very bad smell and appearance. After staying there one night they were able to move us to a non-smoking room which smelled better but wasn't too much better on appearance. I'm not sure I understand the reason for using Hotels.com if it makes it impossible to make these types of changes a time of check-in. Don't think I'll use Hotels.com to book again if I cannot get the same service as booking it through the hotel. Læs mere
"Decent accommodations"
This was not up to the standard that I am familiar with for La Quinta. It was acceptable, but not nearly as refined as I have come to expect from this chain. The breakfast was better than the surroundings it was served in.

To say the least I was pleasantly surprise. The room was clean, fresh towels, courteous service, excellent staff and awesome breakfast. Great getaway for a family. I was especially impressed with how clean the facility was even though it is a pet friendly facility. Great job!!!
"Not worth the price"
I chose this hotel over others in the area because I assumed that a higher price would mean better quality, but I was wrong. The whole place feels cramped and in need of remodeling. Air circulation in the room was awful and there was no fan in the bathroom to get rid of the steam. We needed beds for 3 separate people and had asked for a room with a […] sleeper sofa ...this was made clear on the room request. When I got there late at night, they said they didn't have any rooms like that (or maybe that they didn't have any available), but they made no attempt to reserve a separate roll away bed. Fortunately, they had one roll away still available. If not, we would have been sunk ...and no recourse for a refund. To add insult to injury, when we got ready to take our showers, we found that they'd forgotten to leave any soap, shampoo or other standard amenities. "Great value for a quick stay"
The staff was very friendly and got us checked in to the two rooms I reserved very quickly. The location was great. There are tons of restaurants on Milan and very close to Cedar Point and the piers if you're going out to the Lake Erie Islands. The rooms were clean. "My stay at LaQuinta in Sandusky, OH -"
I was very satisfied with the accommodations at this hotel and the Hotel Staff were very friendly. I rate there Customer Service - A+ ! The rooms were clean and the towels were SOFT, which is something that I did not expect for the PRICE so that was a NICE SURPRISE. VERY CLOSE TO CEDAR POINTS where my grandson and I spent two days and also close to […] GREAT EATING, SHOPPING AND ENTERTAINMENT VENUES. "Ok for 1 night"
Thankfully we were only staying for 1 night. There was hair on the wall of shower. They don't have shampoo and conditioner, just a shampoo/conditioner combo which doesn't work well at all for long thick hair. The one positive is that they had a good breakfast. Not sure I will stay in type of hotel again.
"La Quinta - Sandusky-Cedar Point"
For the money this is a very nice hotel. The staff is exceptional from the front desk to those in housekeeping. The room was clean and comfortable. The mileage listed to Lakeside, Ohio must be as the crow flies (8.45 miles) because the actual distance was 22 miles. The Chinese restaurant next door is exceptional!

After reading some of the reviews about this hotel on this site I was a little hesitate to book this specific hotel. I am glad that I decided to go ahead and book this hotel. For the price, it was well worth it. Quite to the contary the room was nice, clean and fresh. It is the standard room size of the typical La Quita Inns. After a long day at cedar point this hotel is close and easy to find. Good, clean hotel and I would definitely go back.
"LaQuinta Sandusky - Check out your other options"
The LaQuinta was just one of many hotels in the Cedar Point/Kalahari water park area. I wish I would have spent a few more dollars and stayed in a nicer hotel. This hotel I believe had a 2.5 or 3 star rating, and I would not rate it that high. We had a second floor room in the non-smoking section, but our room smelled like smoke and cheap cologne. The […] outer hallways to the rooms were not air-conditioned, the breakfast area was incredibly small, the pool was over-chlorinated, and the overall condition of the hotel was "old". That being said, the staff was very kind, especially the lady in the breakfast area. She obviously loved her job and liked to meet new people. She was aware of the small space and would bring items like fresh donuts around to the tables so you didn't have to try to squeeze out around other people to get back up. Læs mere

Safe neihborhood. Clean rooms. Excellents service, and decent free breakfast. Much nicer than other La Quintas.
