Bryghia Hotel - Brügge

This is a real gem. Quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of many of the sites. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The furnishings in the lobby, restaurant and the rooms give the hotel a nice family feeling. Would stay there again. Can be a little hard to find.

For: Very convenient for the centre of Bruges. Large family room on top floor - get a limited view of the Bruges roof tops. Family room large enough for 2 adults, 2 children and baby in cot. Good sized bathroom. Against: Very limited parking at the hotel, only 4 or 5 public (free) spaces outside which limit you to 4 hours.

Very welcoming and very hepful. The style of the hotel was in keeping with the city. Very good continental breakfast. We both really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

I'd stay here again in a heart-beat - its comfortable, welcoming atmosphere and perfect location ( close to the main Markt but tucked away from the tourist crowds) made it a perfect choice. Good sized and comfortable rooms, and friendly but unassuming service; I almost felt like I was staying in someone's home rather than a hotel.

Excellent stay in this 15th century building - transformed into a very pleasent hotel - within easy walking distance of the centre of Bruges. Good breakfast, quite at night, morning bells chiming ensure that one doesnot oversleep.

The hotel was well situated near to all points of interest. A pleasant location. Rooms clean and pleasant. Breakfast excellent. We would have no hesitation in returning.

Hotel is a 10 min walk from city centre. Public areas were nice and the breakfast very good. Downside was the room,curtains looked motheaten,broken floor tiles in bathroom and the pillows were so flat and uncomfortable.A little updating of bedrooms would not go amiss.

The hotel was small, clean and very convenient for the centre of Bruges. The owner was very helpful in making arrangements for parking and giving directions and was so friendly. The hotel and rooms were OK not exceptional. We have earlier stayed as a family at Hans Memling which had similar / slightly better rooms at a better price. Location is good but there is no convenient parking (except the 3 parking slots always occupied) which is not clearly mentioned on the hotels website. We had a great stay at the Bryghia in February, it is perfectly located near all the main sights, and I found it to be a lovely and quiet spot. very comfortable. short walking distance to market and sighhtseeing attractions. Would recommend to any of my friends travelling to Bruge.

A very nice hotel in an old building just a short walk from the centre of town, yet in a quiet residential area. We requested a triple room, and often triples are very small, but our room was absolutely huge, with a big bathroom. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a large closet. The Bryghia was a lovely hotel in a very old structure but the interior was redecorated very nicely. No air conditioning but not a problem in Sept. Close to the main square in a quiet area. Breakfast was simple but very nice with a lot of choices. Only complaint, bed pillows were flat.

We found the Hotel clean and comfortable, staff very oblidging, very well located close to everything. Only drawback is the parking situation. Lovely place to stay! Would come back!

We had travelled from Cork, Ireland and after a very very long drive and one night in the car (with our nine month old) we found the Bryghia. We were allowed to check in at 10am which was fantastic and allowed us to get the baby comfortable and rested. The room was beautiful, overlooking the canal. Tidy, and cool with great light. Loads of room. We […] set up the travel cot and had a well deserved bath in the spacious bathroom. The hotel has a fantastic atmosphere and the decor is great. The wifi was a godsend as we were able to touch base with home via skype. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of selections to choose from and plenty of food to feed everyone more than once. WE found the hotel very child friendly and the dining room had a baby seat so we could eat and enjoy our breakfast. Overall this hotel is a gem. It is in a wonderful location withing walking distance of everything in Bruges. It was a pleasure to stay there and the owners were a pleasure to deal with. This hotel was in a wonderful old section of Bruges and easy to walk to the Burg and MarketPlace. Easy to get to by bus from train station. Bus stop at nearby Jan Eyck Plein is quite close. Hotel is in a very quiet location, near a lovely canal. Breakfast spread was great, and service pleasant. Bathroom is rather large for Europe. Quite pleased all […] in all. Hotel clerk could have smiled a little to make me feel more welcome, but maybe she was having a bad day. This was my only complaint really. Good value for money in a nice location

Het is een mooi, gezellig hotel. Het ontbijt was erg goed, met veel lekkere dingen. De eigenaar zeer behulpzaam. Parkeerplaats perfect kon niks met de auto gebeuren, zat achter slot en grendel. De kamers zien er goed uit. De bedden slapen goed. In de badkamer een lekkere bad. Roomservice is goed. Een hotel om zeker terug te komen of aan te raden.

Koselig, lite. familiedrevet(?) hotell i rolig del av gamlebyen. God valuta for pengene. Overraskende god standard på frokost. Vi hadde et forholdsvis lite rom, savnet ventilasjon (kan være et problem i varme sommermåneder), men renhold virket bra. Forholdsvis dyr internett-tilgang, som kun er tilgjengelig i lobby. Das Hotel war mit seinem etwas altmodischen Charme ein angenehmer Ruhepunkt zwischen den Besichtigungstouren in Brügge und bot mit dem gutsortierten Frühstücksbuffet auch eine erfreuliche Stärkung für den Tag.

Bon rapport qualité prix. Hôtel légèrement excentré donc au calme. Bon petit déjeuner, chambre agréable. Personnel agréable.

Goede locatie, vriendelijke receptie, nette kamer, goed ontbijt.

Hôtel bien situé (beffroi à 5mn à pied) et propre. Personnel agréable.. Petit déjeuner anglais irréprochable. La déco de la chambre était toute simple et un peu tristounette. J'y suis allé en voiture un samedi soir et j'ai eu du mal à me garer à proximité après 19h. Très correct dans l'ensemble mais la chambre manquait un peu de charme.
