Hampton Inn Closest to Universal - Orlando

Hotellet lå centralt i forhold til Universal studierne, og personalet var flinke og hjælpsomme, og ikke at forglemme - morgenmaden var bare super. ..

Hotel is conveniently located near all area attractions and some great restaurants. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again!

Extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff. Was put off by the dated bathrooms and mildew in the shower. Location is great, near the Millennia Mall and Universal Studios

The beds & pillows were very nice and comfortable. The staff was friendly. I was happy with the cleanliness. The was a lot of variety with the free breakfast.

Great location and hotel. Comfortable beds. Went during spring break and did not feel crowded. Breakfast good basics. Friendly staff was very helpful. Just know if you park at universal when you leave parking lot it is in a different location and we got lost trying to get back to the hotel.

We were very happy with the hotel and the staff especially the guys on the front desk. They were very helpful and friendly. I would definatly recomend this hotel

We arrived at 9:00am after driving all night long. The front desk clerk picked up a radio and asked that a room be made ready right away for us. About 20 mins. later, we had a room even though check-in was 3:00pm. She didn't have to do that, but she did and I will stay again at Hampton because of it.

The hotel was nice. Breakfast was awfull. Eat somewhere else. The shower in the bathroom didn't have any water pressure.

Hampton Inn was near Universal, but we found the car easier to use. The rooms were clean and the personnel very friendly. I would certainly recommend this to anyone going to the Universal Theme Park.

Everything about this hotel was beautiful. The front desk staff were very friendly and courteous. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. Everything was just great about my stay. The entrance was a little hard to find off of the main road since the hotel sits way back off the highway but other than that everything was perfect.

Pool was not heated, needed cleaning. Older hotel, but the closeness to Universal was great. Beds were comfortable also TV was great.

The hotel met our expectations and was perfect for an overnight stay while visiting Universal / Islands of Adventure. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful with a variety of breads and sweet rolls, boxed cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, milk, juices, coffee, waffles and scrambled eggs/bacon. We have free parking at the parks so we didn't use the complimentary […] shuttle service. However I will caution you that there were only 2 morning departures and 2 evening returns of the shuttle service to the parks. Though it is within walking distance of the Universal property you need to cross a busy 4 lane road then treck to the entrance to City walk before reaching the entrance to the parks (all told about a 2 1/2 mile walk) Læs mere

Everithing Wonderfull, great bed and linen.

Hampton INN was as expected. Neat, good breakfast. The computer room needed a little help, but otherwise, fine. Very close to Universal and restaurants.

There were tiny bugs crawling all over the bathroom sink. When we told the front desk, they said that was normal, the insects come from the walls??!!! They were also doing construction in the room next door with a very noisy drill. We've stay at the Hampton before but this time it was extremely disappointing...

When you are looking at what hotel to stay in, you can not go wrong with choosing this or any Hampton Inn. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was filled with lots of choices. The location wonderful as well. There were restaurants within walking distance.

Everything was great except the scrambled eggs in the morning. They were a bit dry and were like small crumbs instead of being "fluffy" bite size pieces.

Very convenient! Very good hospitality. Great Breakfast!

Good location if you come by car and wants to live close to Universal. Medium standard of the rooms. Ok hotel staff.

Misleading on shuttles to parks... Only one time to each park for drop off and pickup. If you plan on watching fireworks then you will miss them if you ride their one shuttle bus. Food was below standard. Cold biscuits and turkey sausage links. AC didn't work in room until last night even though asked maintenance two days prior. Rooms old and worn and […] beds were not comfortable like other Hampton Inns that we have stayed at before. Hotel is located Couple blocks from universal however it took 1.5 hrs to get inside universal studios due to the traffic. If the shuttle would of dropped off when park opens then that would of been better option but it didn't run until 2hrs after park opened. Next time we will stay close to Disney or at one of their resorts. Not worth time and money dealing with misleading info. Disappointed. Læs mere

Great location for visiting Universal Studios however, the free shuttle had limited times (pick up 8:25am or 10am and return was 7pm or 9pm). But the cab ride was less than 10 min. The free breakfast met all my family's needs. If you want to go to the outlets or other at shopping areas, you had to get on the public Trolley. There are very limited things […] to do near the hotel without a car but that's the same for all the hotels in the area. The business center was nicely equipped. The swimming pool was fine. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall the family enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn and would recommend if the only thing you were doing is visiting Universal Studios. non-smoking room with smoking smell bad breakfast wifi signal was weak, slow and dropped all the time small room DO NOT recommend staying there

Traffic patterns make this hotel difficult for access to local restaurants.

Found hotel to be clean with friendly service. However on two seperate occasions I had to have my room key reset so that I could enter my hotel room.

This is an old hotel. It was reasonably priced and offered breakfast. This is what I consider a crusty carpet hotel. It is old and the carpet in the room showed the age. It was kind of yukky. There is a refrigerator in the room along with a safe and internet. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Over 3 days we were only there long enough to […] sleep. The shuttle was convenient and free. The eggs were not good, the sausage ok. There was a wafflemaker, fruit, coffee, cereal and muffins so it was ok. Eggs could have been better. The woman that worked in the breakfast area was WONDERFUL. She brought around mints and went into the back and gave my son cookies for a snack for the day. Everyone had a smile on their face and greeted you as you walked through the hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I may not stay there again since the breakfast wasn't really great and it is an old hotel. I was happy about the price since we were only there to sleep and eat breakfast. Læs mere

Recently had a very nice stay at the Hampton Inn. The breakfast buffet was very good. They had a wide variety of selections. My only complaint would be the shuttle service to the parks. They were very limited in the times that they ran. We spent $5 for a taxi to the hotel. You could probably walk, but not after a long day in the parks.

We chose this hotel because of it's close proximity to Universal Studios. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the room. The bathroom was older but well maintained. Excellent breakfast. Shuttle times were very limited so we drove our own vehicle.

This hotel was one of the best on our entire trip! The staff was very courteous and helpful, as I expected, but then they went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. The breakfast is phenomenal, the best I've had at any hotel, and such a huge convenience. The free shuttle is a big help, but have a contigency for getting back. Out of three days […] at the park, the last day at Sea World we had a problem with the shuttle service and had to find a different way back. This is a seperate company from the hotel, and the hotel was fantastic, but if you are late or have problems with the rendezvous make sure you have enough cash for a taxi. Læs mere

The stay was great. No problem with the room or service. Also, close to Holyland Experience and Universal Orlando.

Hampton Hotel is a place we have always enjoyed staying. It is always so nice and clean. We enjoy the breakfast very much. We started staying at the Hampton when we visited our son and his family in Va.My daughter iin law would get us reservation at the Hampton.

A big smile at check in, clean quiet room, wonderful mattress......and the breakfast blew us away, what a variety......yummmmm......we will be back, Thank you HI staff...you rock..... ,

Was very happy with our stay. Very convenient to the Parks. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Very friendly staff and the rooms were very clean. Nice breakfast.. Eggs, sausage, waffles, pastries, pastries, toast, bagels, yogurt , cereal and fruit . Coffee , Milk, tea and juice!! Great start to a fun day in Orlando.. We will stay again. :-)
