Upon arrival the person at the front desk seemed to get frustrated pretty easily not able to multi-task. Checking me in, answering the phone, and dealing with another guest got this person on edge. Once in my room it was small, clean, but had old furniture that desperately needs replaced. I could hear doors slam closed from other rooms and there were […] a couple of rooms near the elevator that had people who were very loud, thankfully I had a room at the end of the hall way. The remote for the tv was not in the room and I had to go back down to the front desk to get one. Using the elevator seemed like I was on a rollercoaster ride with the slight swaying from side to side. There were some nice toiletries included but the shampoo container was on top of towels inside the shower half used. Shower had decent pressure but the shower wall tiles had some mildew spots. Road noise from the parking lot was pronounced even though I was a few floors up. Air conditioner worked very well and kept the room cold. I liked the large sized mini refrigerator included in the room and the wet bar area. The flat screen HD tv was nice but it was divided between the living room area and the bed room area. If you wanted to watch tv while in bed you'd have to tilt the tv towards the bed. Breakfast was nice eventhough it was continental it had a decent selection and I especially liked the breakfast sandwhiches made from english muffins. For the price the hotel wasn't bad and it was nicely located close to the Galleria mall with tons of shopping. Also close to other restaurants only a few minutes drive away. I didn't recommend this hotel because of the room, the thin walls, and noisy neighbors. Læs mere

Great room, very clean, modern and great location. Would definitely stay again. One exit from Belt line bars and restaurants. Starbucks coffee in the morning is a plus! Highly recommend. Right next to the Galleria mall too!

The afternoon staff and room cleanliness was great. I've been staying in Hyatt Place hotels for a while now and typically seek them out because of their amenities and great service. Unfortunately this hotel was the exeception. They could not keep up with their breakfast demand at all. During the week it was ok but on Saturday and Sunday there was NOTHING […] left for food, silverware, bowls, plates or cups. It was like they weren't even trying. The staff at breakfast was rude and extremely unaccommodating. So much to the point where many other guests and I just left. I travel to Austin a lot for work and will not stay at this hotel again. Great overall. Really felt like I was home. Intuitive designs for the most part and thoughtful touches. Only things I have comments on are: shower ceiling is dropped low...not sure why this is but there's not a lot of height in there. They also skimped on the shower head though water pressure was great. Could have used a docking station for my phone. […] Loved the kiosk station for check in but I didn't like that I had to walk downstairs to order and they didn't offer room service. The rooms were clean, the staff was nice, the pool was heated and the free breakfast was slightly better than expected. This is not the place to stay however if you are expecting your hotel to be a "resort" or a "destination". This however is a great place to stay if you are looking for a place that will be a good compliment to your destination and […] provide a worry free and comfortable stay. It is an inviting hotel that welcomes you with a warm lobby that balances between warm-cozy and upscale-modern. The rooms are clean and nicely designed offering you just enough amenities such as marble counter tops and a 42 inch flat panel TV to give you a slight sense of luxury. However, this is not to be considered a luxury hotel. It doesn’t come with turn down service, plush bath robes and a central control panel in your room that controls everything from the lights to the blinds. It is what I might refer to as "sensibly nice" meaning that it's nice but not "upscale" nice with all the hoopla and over the top amenities that come with an upscale ritzy place. This is the kind of place that you will enjoy but it won’t overshadow in a good or bad way the reason for coming to the city. The hotel is located almost within walking distance of a great high-end mall where you could spend hours shopping, eating or even ice skating. The only drawback I found is that the hotel is also located right off a toll road—the easiest way to get to the location. So you may end up spending a bit more than you expected in getting there. But don't worry, you won’t need cash for the toll, the city will take a photo of your license plate as you enter the road and will send you a bill in the mail. You can get to the hotel without using the toll road but it may be a bit confusing and take slightly longer. Overall, I wouldn't let the toll road steer you away from this hotel, especially if you happen to want to visit the American Girl Doll store which if you have a daughter under the age of 12 you will want Læs mere

This hotel was great. Immaculate rooms, good location, expedient check in/ check out..... did i mention clean rooms? Absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel, and anyone who says otherwise would also probably complain about something if you gave them a suitcase full of money.

My stay at the Hyatt Place Park Central was AMAZING. The staff was friendly, helpful and fun. The shuttle service was also a plus. I definately plan on staying there during my next trip to Dallas TX.

The Staff is not very proffessional and in a harry to dismiss rather than take time to help. But overall it was a nice place to stay and the location is very convinient, close to major roads and of course the Gallaria and Addisson.

My husband and I enjoy the accommodation at the Hotel. Express check-in less than two minutes, available parking, and a friendly staff. Our room was very clean and the bed was amazing. My family and I plan to return in the near future. A home a way from home.

the hotel is close to Galleria mall, and i was really surprised how nice the people at the counter were. definitively would recommend staying there, and breakfast they served was really good. gret deal for the price

Well located, easy to get to places I needed to attend; meetings and dining. Heating/cooling unit did not work real well, could not get ideal temp in room. Hotel was nice and staff courteous. Would stay again.

This is my 3rd stay at a Hyatt Place. each at a different location around Texas. My daughter does cheerleading competitions, and we travel alot. Every visit has been pleasant, and I am always satisfied with the qulity of the hotel, and the customer service.

I read the negative comments before I purchased the room. I don't know what they were talking about!!! The hotel was great. The staff was great. The location was ok with us. We are going back next month for another visit.

Just wanted a hotel to get away from everything for a weekend, the Hilton Lincoln Center was too old fashioned so I chose this. It feels really upscale, especially for the price. Had a King room, we couldn't believe how big the room was. Extremely comfortable bed, great plasma TVs with full motion mounts, tons of hookups easy access, nice bathroom, […] etc, even a nice couch. Breakfast was chintzy and worthless. It was hard to get to, especially if you don't have a TollTag. But nonetheless it's centrally located, we hung out at all the restaurants/bars in Addison and went to a Stars game, then Northpark...was great. Location was great. Neighborhood not so much. I went to the CVS late at night and thought I was going to get jumped; no joke. But there's nothing the hotel can do about that. Nonetheless, my car was damaged and I still felt safe. Læs mere

This hotel is great for business travel. It's conveniently located and the staff is very accomodating. The rooms are comfortable and spacious (althogh the closet was small and a tight fit), with a strong wifi connection and in-room refrigerator and coffee maker. The hotel will provide a free shuttle service in a 5 mile proximity and they're knowledable […] about the surrounding area. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again. Læs mere

I have been a member of Hotel .com for some time and have stayed at several hotels in past from cheap to expensive. I was highly impressed with the hyatt, in fact I will stay at this hotel again in a few months.

The older, remodeled hotel greeted us with a self- check in kiosk which didn't work. Then a front desk clerk showed up and told us it didn't work. There was no pillow choice and the over-stuffed pillows gave us neck aches. The worst part was that the toilet had an internal rubber seal leak which caused it to kick on and keep refilling throughout the […] night. The staff definitely lives up to its motto of providing Superior Service. All six or so of the staff I interfaced with during my stay were very friendly and helpful - going out of their way to satisfy my needs. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. The flat panel TVs with external easy access input port panel perfect for plugging in your […] computer or devices. Only slight drawback is that the walls are a bit thin. Affordable, comfortable, clean, roomy, great beds, great tv, great location. I've stayed here several times. Only down side is the smallest, most unusable closet in the entire hotel universe. Its fine for just me but we stay elsewhere when my girlfriend travels with me.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. It was a clean hotel, nice big room with a great tv. The staff was friendly. No complaints!

The hotel was great for a one night stay only since there was only about a foot of usable closet space and no dresser for drawer space either! Enjoyed free Internet and having small refrigerator.

Hotel was nice for the price. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I hoped from other 4 star hotels but overall the room was nice and clean. It was close to the Galleria which was nice, but I wasnt fond of the neighborhood. Just down the road at the 7/11 people were selling odds and ins out of their car trunks causing me to feel some concern about my car. […] Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was packed and I wasn't able to find me a place to eat, bug overall a good stay for your money. If you're wanting a more romantic or fun setting and getaway I would look elsewhere. Always great to stay at the Hyatt Place. The living room part is nice when you want to be in the room, but not hanging out on the bed. The breakfast is nice and convenient and the coffee always good. Will definitely stay at this place again!
