Hotellets standard kan slet ikke følge med den pris jeg gav for toovernatninger. hotellet er meget slidt og specielt badeværelset er næsten komisk slidt og gammelt, linolium der sidder løst, ventilator der bare står og larmer men ikke længere kan køre osv. find et andet sted at overnatte hvor du får mere "value for money".

Quality Hotel, har mange faciliteter. Det meste på hotellet bærer dog præg af at vedligeholdelse og specielt opgradering lader meget tilbage at ønske. Til gengæld er prisen yderst rimelig. Toilettet larmede i den grad, så man ikke havde lyst til at trække ud hvis man kom sent hjem. Det er den vigtigste anke mod selve værelset som kun skulle benyttes […] til at sove I. Der er ikke noget specielt at foretage sig på hotellet. En positiv ting er dog at det kun ligger 50 meter fra TGI Fridays. I vores pris var der ikke inkluderet morgenmad, som vi så købte et andet sted. Det er let at komme med bussen til City Centre. Der er holdeplads lige udenfor. Det er ikke gå afstand til city centre med mindre man holder meget af at vandre. Man får hvad man betaler for, og det var ganske billig overnatning, men forvent ikke noget ekstra. Læs mere

Selvom værelset var meget billigt er det jo ikke ensbetydende med, at det også skal fremstå sådan. Værelset var nedslidt og trængte til en meget kærlig hånd. Afskallet maling hist og pist samt et komplet ødelagt toiletbræt. Men personalet var venlige og hjælpsomme! Da jeg naturligvis ikke har set de andre værelser ved jeg ikke om det er standarden […] på dette hotel. Jeg håber det ikke. very good for the money clean and tiydey

The condition of the room was really basic and poor. Beds are uncomfortable. Bathroom was clean.

The staff are lovely and very helpful but they're fighting a losing battle in a tired hotel in desperate need of refurbishment. The bathroom was unpleasant with a shower hose attachment that functioned very poorly and mildew under the peeling linoleum and on the ceiling.

I didn't have any problem what so ever apart from the room water temperature was so hot I couldn't wash or shower. I mentioned this to the reception at 7pm but it was not resolved and they didn't offer to move me. I went to the spa for a shower and even that was cut short to 9.30 pm and should have been 10.00 pm. There was only one person on the desk so it took 10 minutes before I spoke the lady on the desk who then was unable to locate my booking which took a further 10 minutes. The room was clean and sufficient but you could feel the springs in the mattress. The bathroom was terrible it is so out dated. This hotel is awful. the staff have no manners and you feel like criminals when checking forcing you to pay a £50 CASH deposit for your room even though it has been pre paid. The evening staff are more concerned with their personal telephone calls as oppose to attending to customer needs it is as if though the customer is a nuisance for them The rooms […] are grotty to say the least with stains on the carpets and wall paper. The bathrooms are in desperate need for a deep clean. After reading other reviews we expected the house of horrors. But its clean, cheap and the breakfast was very good. Would I stay on a romantic weekend..No Would I stay if I liked the other chain hotels..No Would I stay if I wanted somewhere cheap and practical, no fuss......Yes. We asked for a non-smoking room & the smell of smoke was everywhere, although they had tried hard to eliminate it with cleaning products. Also we asked for a double room but actually got one with 2 singles pushed together & covered with double sheets etc. Only problem was 1 bed was higher than the other so there was a big ridge in the middle of the […] bed! Stayed here 8 years ago and again just last week and the state of the hotel had not changed one bit. Not to say it is in a bad state, but some sprucing up to bring it in line with other modern hotels would be nice. There's nothing at fault, and I will give credit where it's due, the TV's have been "upgraded" to small wall mounted LCDs, but I think that's […] about it. Same decor, same linen, same bathroom, it's time for a change. Other than that, can't fault the stay. Couldn't honestly say that this hotel lives up to it's name, it's a hotel and provides a nights accommodation, perhaps if they changed it to Ronseal Hotels that would match accurately guest expectation. It is very good value for money, clean, comfortable and in a good location. perhaps a little tired and in need of some modernisation, but honest and does the job. I have stayed here a few times so therefore recommended.

I should have read more reviews. The hotel was not very clean and my room looked really old and needed a total revamp. I tried to go to the gym which is not as nice as they make look like on the pictures and it was too busy so I couldn't use any of the machines, when I managed to get in and do an workout I was told the gym would be closing, The official […] time for the gym to close was 10pm but I was kicked out at 9:30 which was annoying. The bed was really uncomfortable and the walls were really thin and I could hear people in the corridor and the next room. We booked a 3 bedroom room for 1 night and not at all happy On arrival to the room there was still faeces in the toilet which a simple flush got rid of it The air conditioning unit was broke which resulted in the lights of the unit constantly flashing all throughout the night The latch on the window was broken which let in the cold There was a electrical […] heater on the wall which made loud "thuds" throughout the night There was glass that fell from the lighting fixture above the bed The shower was go extremely cold and then unsafely scorching hot. The shower cubicle was very small The room was a good size After a complaint they offered a free breakfast which was vile, Judging by the poster and information info sheets it looks cooked invidually with fried egg, this was not the case there was a few heated containers which you picked up what was available, there wasn't much choice sausage, mushroom, scrambled egg which had the texture of marshmellows, beans or tomato and bread/toast (also muffins and cereals available) During the night we did ring to try and sort out the cold breeze which their where police officers at the front desk and staff where busy. We complained in the morning and said we should have called them in the night. I asked for a feedback form and they didn't have any and offered to air my feedback on scrap paper We booked with intention of using the pool the next days but with the lack of sleep we where in no way to use the facilities Læs mere

The room was OK, but the bathroom wasn't very clean and the door handle was broken. The common areas are very shabby and worn and the soundproofing is non-existent - you can hear everything that is happening in your neighbouring room's bathroom not very nice. The staff were OK. It wasn't that cheap for what we got. If you can, look elsewhere.

From the hostility of the reception, the lack of service to even obtain a coffee in the lounge, to the run down, and uncleanliness of the room, this was an absolutely awful hotel. Stay there only if you are used to living rough

Booked a room for three, each had a comfy single bed. The room had lots of space and the bathroom was very clean. Only negative comment is that check out was at 11am on a Sunday which is earlier than most hotels.

The hotel was in a convenient location for us to go to a concert at the HMV Institute. The room was comfortable and reasonably clean, although the bathroom was in need of updating and the leisure facilities were ok but not as luxurious as pictured on the website.

rather anxious about staying here after reading some of the reviews, but in the end it was OK - worth what I paid

The Hotel was ok and for the price it was good.. Only thing was, Ironing facilities where on another floor which was a nausance and also we had cold showers in the morning which was very annoying, i was going to complain but didnt see the point as i dont think I would have got anything back from them. Had the pleasure of staying Saturday night, Wish i had not, very tired decor, rooms need refurbishing, room and bathroom very dirty. we should have paid £10 more and stayed next door in the Premier inn. The location was the only good thing. Disapointed and will not be back

What can i say dingy hotel with bedbugs! only good thing is free parking and hottie who works on the counter!

paid hotels.com they took money from card and cleared ok. Arrived at hotel and told crdit card refuced when payment when though with hotels.com made to pay cash to stay!!!!!!!

the rooms are big and clean. but the walls are so thin that even next rooms toilet flush and laugh was being heard in our room. The majority of the guests, were young, drunk, rude and had no respect or though of other people staying at the hotel. The doors was slammed all night long every time anyone tried to get in or out of their room which continued […] to 4am, and it was very difficult to ignore the noice. me and my friend ended up having only 3 hours sleep that night before we went to our conference and we were sleepy and frustrated the whole day. By checkout time when I told the reception about our experience, the only respond was "sorry to hear that"! I defiantly do not recommend this hotel for professional or elderly people who needs good night sleep. But very suitable for people whoms drinking and leak of manners are at the same level as the majority of other guests, and wont be bothered by loud laugh and talk in the corridor at 3am! Læs mere

The Hotel is located as good as central to birmingham and is a short cab ride into the city, rooms and bathroom are a little dated but for a one night stay this hotel was ideal, staff friendly and helpful, only problem was the group of men who kept us awake until 4.30 in the morning!!

No ice machine and the bar was reluctant to give ice. Telephones in the room don't work - you can't even call the front office. Free Internet service in the lobby is spotty. When paying for the Internet service in your room, this doesn't work either. We had to request re-imbursement vouchers. Watch out for housekeeping because if you don't catch […] them and REQUEST that your linen be changed, it wont be. I've had better service in hotels in the states for the same price. Læs mere

Me and my partner stayed here for the weekend in September 2011 as we were attending a wedding in Birmingham. We wasn't impressed at all with the hotel. Service was so so, breakfast was over priced for what you get and not to a good standard. Entrance and dining areas were quite modern, but once you go up to the rooms you feel like you've step back […] in time to the 1980's. Rooms and corridoors desperately need updating/makeover, corridoors are dark and depressing. I felt I was more likely in a 2star accommodation rather than a 3 star. Wouldnt stay there again, would rather have stayed in Premier Inn which was next door at least you know what your getting! (No, I dont work for Premier Inn) Læs mere

Very poor hotel, they charge you price of an expensive hotel but the rooms are of a very poor condition.

This was good value for the money, with a clean bedroom and new bathroom. But there were a couple of minor niggles: -> Pool shut at 3:30pm on a Sunday afternoon which seems ridiculous for a weekend - especially as it was a bank holiday weekend. -> A little redecoration of the public parts of the hotel (e.g. painting in the hallways) would make the hotel […] look much smarter, rather than 'tired'. We arrived at the restaurant for Breakfast on first morning, I looked at the menu and there was vegetarian Sausage . Unfortunately the waitress said they have run out of Vegetarian sausages!!! So we went to next door to Beefeater and they were friendly and helpful and provided vegetarian breakfast. Smelly room. Stale smell kind of. They even tried to pull a fast one, tried to charge for stuffs you never bought. Check your invoice properly.

I know this was a cheap deal but I would expect a toilet that did not leak, not having to use a hose at the end of a tap as a shower in these modern times.. Walls so thin you could hear the light switch next door !!!! Will definatley pay extra for a better hotel, definate NO NO

The hotel looked ok through the pictures online however it has an eerie feel to it and i didn't feel safe walking the corridoors of the hotel. The whole vibe is a little uncomfortable, I didn't get a good nights sleep, there were spiders in the room and felt really sick and nauseous in the room which isn't normal - had to sleep with the light on! service […] staff were friendly and free parking is good but spaces get taken really quick and the back car park again is eerie and unsafe, there is no lighting and is quite a walk to the front entrance! Just what we wanted very basic accomodation, clean and friendly.

My daughter and I stayed overnight so as to attend an open day at Birmingham University. The hotel was very good. Parking was easily available and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly. It was just what we wanted.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a hotel close to Broad Street, but still reasonably quiet so we could get some sleep after a night of partying. Quality hotel was just the thing for us! It is a bit of a walk from Broad street, but one of the closest from Broad street anyway. Also comes with complimentary spa/sauna and swimming pool make it a great […] weekend getaway.
