Red Roof Inn Mobile South - Mobile

Got to the hotel late and the desk clerk was still cheery and accommodating; gave me an extra key with a smile when I locked myself out after being there 10 minutes. Walls are somewhat thin but other guests were quiet. Beds are too firm for my taste but if it solves your back problems you'll sleep well.

It was satisfying, we were tired and we wanted a good room for the night and we had :)

Not so happy, I booked a Non-Smoking room but got a room that smelled like smoke but I liked that it was a cheap rate for just for an overnight stay. It took a while to check in because the Desk Clerk had to make the rounds on the property and when she got back the computers were down and couldn't get checked into a room right away (it took about an […] hour after arriving to get checked into a room I've already paid for) therefore too tired from driving from Houston, TX to complain directly about smoking smelling room just wanted to go to sleep since I had to continue my travels in the morning. I will say that even with those problems the Desk Clerk was very nice and kept apologizing for the problems with checking in, it was not her fault, but if I hadn't pre-paid for the room she was willing to give me a discount. This hotel is a dump my family stayed three nights and found a used needle and spoon under the mattress. The manager was nasty about the situation. She just thought I wanted a free night but I wanted an apology.

This hotel was not five star but... It was clean comfortable and provided free wifi connection. The I was nervous to stay here with two small kids. However it exceeded my expectations.

Stayed here a week earlier and that room while it was clean was not as nice as the one this time around. Clean and comfortable room for an overnight stay.

Passing through Mobile on my way to Texas. Overnight stop. Good place to stop. Just don't expect a lot of amenities. But I just needed a place to sleep. This place fits the bill. Clean room. Quiet neighborhood, and several restaurants (mostly fast food) nearby. Reasonable rates.

I arrived later than anticipated, check in went very smoothly. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Title says it all!!

The non-smoking room smelled like smoke and Lysol when I first walked in but was ok after a few minutes. The room was comfortable for the price and had NO signs of bedbugs. Hotel lobby was pretty dirty, but free coffee was decent. Location was extremely convenient to the interstate but interstate noise wasn't bad at all. Hotel was very close to I-10 which was really nice. Extremely close to Holiday Inn (with bar) and restaurants in the area. Hotel was clean and spacious, not perfect but just what I expected for 50 dollars. Overall very satisfied.

We asked for a non smoking room and the sign posted stated that it was a non smoking room, yet everything in it and everything we packed and brought out smelt of smoke. I believe it came through the heating system.

Just needed a place to sleep overnight on my trip from Texas to NC. Room and bathroom was clean, bedding was clean and the TV worked fine. I was pleased. No frills but I didnt need any.

HORRIBLE!!! Urine on the toilet seat, smoke smell in a non-smoking room, discolored towels and sheets... I'll never stay at Red Roof Inn again!!!

I guess it helps that I wasn't expecting the Hilton, but I was very impressed. The microwave and mini-fridge in the room was an unexpected bonus. Location was great, I didn't have to drive all over town to find it. Only one tiny issue... I turned on the TV, and the volume was THIS LOUD!!! and wouldn't turn down. That was a little frustrating. Bathrooms […] were clean and the soap wasn't the cheap stuff that breaks me out. As far as the surrounding area, I didn't hear anyone outside or from other rooms, and never saw anyone else when I went to my car. Either it was a slow day, or everyone was very quiet. All in all, I'd definitely stay again, and I'd recommend it to other folks in a heartbeat. Læs mere

I would recommend to other travelers. The bathroom was clean, the bed was fairly comfy, although the linens weren't as soft as one may like, and the features in the room went above and beyond (microwave, fridge, desk, wi-fi...)

We stayed at this hotel for one night during our trip to FL because of the convenient location being close to freeway but would not do it again. The room smelled, the common area was trashy and smelly.

Unser Aufenthalt war angenehm. Das WIFI war zeitweise nicht stak genug.

Excellent rapport qualité prix. Accueil symptahique et personnel très avenant. Les chambres sont propres et le cadre agréable pour un motel en bord de l'interstate. Un peu loin de Mobile toutefois mais parfait pour une étape.
