Very comfortable, secure and convemient. Would stay again

I was traveling alone with my two small dogs and just wanted a clean, safe place to spend the night on my way back home. This hotel fit the bill just fine. The front desk person was friendly, competent, and quickly got me checked in. Although I would have preferred to have a room on the first floor with its own entrance because of my dogs, I didn't […] get in until after 6pm, so had to take a room on the second floor, up a long flight of stairs and down a long corridor, which was very inconvenient with my dogs and no one to help carry my things. One of my dogs wouldn't walk up the stairway , so I had to carry her in and out and make several trips back and forth to get settled in - none of this was the hotel's fault, of course. The room was clean, attractively decorated, but very basic. Most everything worked well, but I had trouble maintaining a comfortable temperature with the room heater; it was either too warm or too cold, it seemed. The hotel grounds had ample grassy areas around it to exercise my dogs, but I couldn't find an exterior trash can after picking up my dog's stools, so I had to leave the plastic bag at the curb. Since they do allow pets there, they should provide a container for responsible dog owners who clean up after their dogs. I only spent one night and then left around 8am. I appreciated the free coffee in the lobby when I checked out. Læs mere

Other than the bed being lumpy and the shower pressure being off, it was an ok stay. The room was VERY warm (even when I tried to put the air on in the WINTER). It was a good place to sleep but nothing more...

The front rest staff was very rude and quite frankly I felt like I was bothering them to check into my room. The room was hot as the ac barly worked the tv was an old tube tv and rather fuzzy. There cleaning staff did a great job with the up keep of the room everything was clean and spotless. Outside noise didn't seam to be much of a problem.

Great value. I would rate as 5-star if the towels weren't so pitiful.

The Hotel is conveniently located just off of the highway with easy on/off access. The rooms match the rate when compared to other facilities in the area during an event weekend. My particular room was clean and roomy which was sufficient for the few days I stayed there. There are several restaurants and stores within minutes of the hotel along with […] a convenient store/gas station adjacent to the hotel. There is plenty of parking with a few spots for over sized vehicles or those with trailers. If your in need of a simple room to sleep and shower in this hotel is more than sufficient. Læs mere

When I arrived at the hotel I was told by the clerk that my room had already been taken by someone elsewith my named and she wanted to see my confirmation number. After I had gone to my car in down pouring rain to get it she said that it was allright and assigned me another room. She didn't even bother to tell me how to find my room. good hotel, simple, non-elegant, no frills, no hair dryer, dirty stairwells. Friendly front office staff, good rates, pets can stay, altho' we didn't have any pets. All rooms are pet rooms which we thought there would be designated rooms for pets.!

The room was clean. Checking in and out was very easy. My only complaint would be the lady at the desk left a "back in10 minutes" sign up, and we didn't see her again after a half hour. We were hoping to get an extra pillow. Otherwise, it was a nice stay. Easy ride to and from Hershey Park.

The rooms were bright and newly renovated which made it feel comfortable for this type of chain hotel. The bathroom was clean but really needed a fan. Convenient to Hershey and Giant Center and easy to get to.

We stayed after a long day at Hershey Park. No amenities i.e. hair dryer or coffee maker but great for a day or two. Would definately stay here again. Clean room, comfortable bed.

This hotel was a great for a good nights rest while traveling. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and well-kept.

I choose this location because it was close to a training site. On arrival, I found that is was close to many places that I eat at. I will plan on staying there in the future when I am at PEMA for training. I would like to have vending on the second floor. Expecially the icemachines. Annie -

This was a great place for an inexpensive and comfortable stay. Very friendly staff, very clean and comfortable room, WiFi worked perfectly. The most welcome comfort - excellent air conditioning during the July heat wave!

I needed and reserved a first floor room as I had recent knee surgery, After driving 600 miles alone I was in pain and exhausted - but alas no first floor room, and only a long staircase upper room was available. After arguing with the completely unsympathetic desk for 45 minutes, trying to reach the booking agent by phone, I was about to give up. However, […] 10 minutes before the manager arrived there was suddenly a first floor room available. Beds were hard, the layout was uncomfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of grime in the corners. Desolate area. Old business area. Very quiet. The room was clean. However since they allow pets and we were on the back. So needless to say the back smelled like an animal toilet. Not very appealing. They charge for safe use in the room even if you don't use it. Free Parking in front of room was nice.

It's just what we needed and will use again unless we find something less expensive. Nothing special, just a clean room and beds in which to sleep is what we needed. The hallway had an unpleasant odor but fortunately that did not exist in our room.

This met our needs perfectly. The only complaint is that it really really needs to be smoke free - the hallways, stairways and outside of room doors stunk horribly of smoke. People were stepping barely outside of their rooms to puff away. Awful. I would never stay here other than an overnight along the long drive to and from Indiana and Maine, but they […] take dogs and trust me, my well behaved big dog is less a problem for fellow travelers than the stench of people smoking. First of all, the mattresses should be replaced. The mattresses were very low and lumpy. We also had no TV. Remote control needed batteries and of course the motel had none on site.

Perfect fit for what I needed. A clean room to spend the night in a convenient location. Really couldn't ask for better when you compare the price.

The good: Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. For me, the location couldn't have been better since it's right off a few major highways. Room was clean. The Okay: Wireless internet was free but you get what you pay for. It cut out a lot and was rather slow. The bad: The beds. Oh boy the beds. I have never slept on something so uncomfortable […] before. It felt like there were springs bulging out the top of the mattress and was terribly annoying to sleep on. Thankfully I didn't have much problems sleeping or pain the next morning. I don't know if my room was an isolated incident, but wow, upgrade your beds. They felt like 40 year old cots. Læs mere

About the only amenities are free coffee and wireless. Remodeled rooms, still kind of beat. Had fridge and microwave. No workout facility, no pool, no breakfast or restaurant. In an office park .

Clean rooms, friendly & efficient desk/housekeeping staff. Coffee/hot water in lobby. No breakfast but a Cracker Barrel restaurant, Arby's, and shopping complex with a pleasant pub are a few minutes drive. Pet friendly. There is no coffee maker or hairdryer in th room. Our AC/heating unit only circulated warm air (room 211). We didn't pursue a room […] change do to the limited hurs we spent their do to our schedule. clean and reasonable...the staff were pleasant

This was an adequate place somewhat dated. Our entrance door had peeling paint, the room was clean but bath very small, no hair dryer or coffee pot. Complimentary coffee in office and pleasant staff of one.

This motel definitely needs an upgrade of its mattresses. Mine seemed old and I checked for bedbugs but luckily didn't find any. TV didn't work very well and the room smelled like cat pee when I got there. The whole place is very bare bones but I guess that's what I get for the cheap price.

I found it to be quiet, clean and it met all my needs. I did not encounter any negatives. The staff was helpful and friendly. A good value choice.

If you need a place to sleep on a road trip this Red Roof is well priced, convenient and clean. No frills but you do get free coffee and/or hot chocolate from dispensing machine by front desk.
