Flot velholdt hotel, som ligger lige ved siden af lufthavnen (1 min. gang). Jeg frygtede støj fra fly, men jeg bemærkede intet (god isolering, og air-con virkede). Hurtig check-in/ud, venlige receptionister, alt i alt en god oplevelse. Hotellets beliggenhed gør man hurtigt kan komme videre, da lufthavnen har gratis interrail forbindelse til banegården, […] så man slipper for en dyr taxa tur ind til byen. Tilhørende restaurant er en smule dyr i forhold til mængden af mad (jeg ville ikke blive mæt af hovedret alene), men super service og god kvalitets mad. Læs mere

Clean, bare necessity type of property within 100 meters of the Birmingham airport. Easy walk after a long flight. This is not the Ritz but for easy, reasonable travel, I would highly recommend. By the way, ample room within the room for two people and their luggage unlike many other airport or downtown transient properties. VERY quiet too.

We were amazed how close to the NIA by sky train we were would stay here again staff were very helpful. Breakfast good value for money

The hotel was right next to the terminal building so very convenient. It had two sets of double glazing so I did not hear one aircraft during my stay!

Comfortable hotel very convenient for the NEC and of course the airport. Location is uninspiring but the hotel is comfortable and very reasonable. Staff were friendly if a little rigid with the check in rules. The restaurant promised a lot, but disappointed on the quality of the food for the price. The hotel's nothing special, but has comfy beds and is perfectly adequate for a night's sleep. No noise from the airport - even with the windows open we weren't disturbed, although the planes were then audible. Food and drink is very expensive, so best to eat before arriving. 1 minute's walk from the hotel to the departure section of the terminal, […] so extremely convenient. This hotel is incredibly convenient to the airport check in and worked great for our early morning flight. The internet connectivity was a pain and took calling the help desk to get working. I was frustrated with it for awhile. Our experience in the restaurant wasn't great, either. We had to send an undercooked chicken dish back. Overall, this was a […] decent hotel that met our needs. Stayed here while at a trade show at NEC. It was a great choice as the hotel is so close to the NEC, the train station and the monorail that i was able to leave the car at home and travel by train. I paid extra to have the 24 hour broadband service and found that useful. I would happily stay here again.

Luck warm water in bedromm at night and again in the mroning. No tepid water to have a shower or shave.# Staff very courteous. +£15 is too much for Full english luie warm uncooked sausages and frozen bread for toasting. Also how about putting butter in 3 places instead of one - you will find it ear the salami! Very dissappointing

The hotel is directly opposite the main terminal building and it is just a 2 minute walk to check-in. There is no covered walk-way between the hotel and the terminal so beware if it is raining. The car paking is quite a distance away but they do allow a drop-off of luggage and people but be prepared to pay heftily if you do not move your car within […] 15 minutes. I arrived at 9pm and the hotel was VERY busy and I couldn't get a table at the restaurant until 10 but they do serve the full menu in the bar also. I was there las week to go to the NEC and this would be the best location if you are flying in and out from Birmingham. Bang opposite the airport terminal you can just walk out of the airport and into the hotel. Breakfast for grt and the staff all know what they are doing. Overall a fantastic place. Nicely kept and upto date. Thx guys.

Excellent hotel all the way around. Dinner/service first rate;convenient location, walking distance to airport; Room/Bathroom, immaculate; Comfortable in every way. No regrets having selected Hotel Novatel .. Airport location.

Very convienent if staying overnight for airport as only a matter of minutes away from airport Also if youre planning to go to the Exhibtion centre its perfect as you catch the sky train from the airport and 90 seconds later youre there Rooms are very comfortable only grip was very very slow service in the dining room for dinner

very convenient for nec exhibitions. Four reception desks for checking in only two manned and they were preoccupied with telephone enquiries!!! on checking in and out people queeing behind us both occasions. breakfast cost horrendous reccomend go across the road to departure lounge half the price !

Great hotel if you are going to the N E C or Birmingham Airport. We took the train from London and got off at Birmingham international to see a show at the N E C. The N E C is just a walk from the station over a covered walkway and only takes minutes. From The same station you can take the skyrail free transfer that takes only a minute to the hotel. […] Take the skyrail to the airport terminal, once inside take the escerlater down into the arrivals hall. Once here you just go outside and walk across the carpark to the hotel. The trip from the N E C to the Hotel only takes 5 mins Max. The hotel had a really comfy bed and the room was nice and clean. The windows where triple glazed so there is no airport noise. The breakfasts are wonderful ! I Will use the hotel again when visiting the N E C Læs mere

Very satisfied, rate was good - included 50% off parking and breakfast was included. Room was a little small with old fashion separate wc and shower room - but overall good value and great location of course.

Just a few meters from the main entrance of Birmingham Int. airport. Nice hotel in every way, will be my selection for my next stay on travel to / from Birmingham.

This hotel is great for an airport stay, so well placed. Room was very nice although bits of the hotel felt dated it was still clean and comfortable. Bar was open 24 hours and food was available 24/7. Only downside was if you are vegetarian, as my partner is, food was out as the few 24/7 items all contained meat or fish

Had a early morning flight so booked a family room for the night before- Room was very spacious and clean . Staff were very professional and helpful. The location was perfect we checked our bags in at 4am then went back for breakfast. Then booked another room for return flight home . Stayed for one night after late flight times and did not want to wander around Birmingham by myself. Good room, very quiet everything I needed. Breakfast excellent,location brill, will be staying again before our skiing flight in Dec.

Very Nice Hotel. Cant complain about service, room condition, comfort or its staff. Please be aware though of the parking facilities. Guests have to use the NCP carpark across the road. They give you a ticket which discounts the full amount (approx half) from the full price but this is only for durations of 5 hrs or more. Basically your overnight stay. […] If you leave and return throughout the day, again parking fees will apply. Stayed 1 night in Aug 2011 before an exhibition in the NEC. Location great just across the road from the Airport Terminal which has a direct link to both the train station and the NEC. Hotel was very busy but the staff were all courteous and friendly. Even though the hotel is in the Airport complex the rooms were quiet (no aircraft noise!). Some decor […] was a little tired but was clean and acceptable for one night. Breakfast was disappointing with long queues - staff tried to help by providing extra tables in the bar area but that led to chaos as there was no extra cutlery, cups, plates etc. Some of the bread (for toasting) had mold on it - not good. This hotel is ideally located for travellers taking early morning flights from Birmingham Airport. We had a 6.30am flight, so a stroll across the road to the terminal was very convenient. JB - Ohio, USA

While its location to the airport was excellent, the cost was too much. Also,I was given a room that was assigned to a group doing job interviews. A guy came into my room with his own "key". The staff was very courteous and I was offered two free drinks for my trouble. They corrected the problem promptly. ideal base to stay for an early morning flight. Departures just across the road. Breakfast did start from 5ap, but this was too late for me.

Very convenient. Enjoyable one night stay with a chance to relax after a hectic trip and not worry about getting up early and travelling/drop off car/etc. the day of my flight.

Fantastic room, great food, very clean and comfortable. Excellent transport links with air train, buses and mainline rail available. Ideal for family tourism with quick and easy access to Birmingham and of course the the airport. We will be back, just mind out you don't go in the drop-off parking, head for muti-storey - which was complimentary NCP car […] park as staying at Novotel. We never used our car over the 4 day stay, great family break and we will be back. Also, appeared to be an excellent airport with many departures to large selection of destinations. Great hotel but 15 pounds for 24hr internet access is daylight robbery. Not even free WIFI in the public areas. Even Starbucks and McDonalds give you free WIFI.

This Novotel is very convenient for anyone needing accommodation close to the airport. The rooms are comfortable, clean, well appointed but small. Travelling with heavy luggage makes movement difficult. Room service was prompt and the food was better than average. The staff were MOST helpful in helping to get our baggage over to the terminal.

My wife and I rarely stay at Hotels. We stayed due to an early flight and the proximity to the airport. We were delighted with the warmth of welcome and kindnes of the service. The room was really good, the sound proofing excellent. We particularly enjoyed a special meal in the restuarant. Great hotel, friendly staff, good value for money and of course very convienent for the airport terminals

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Novotel Birmingham Airport. We were going to a concert at the nearby LG Arena and the situation couldn't have been better - a couple of minutes ride by taxi (arranged by the Reception staff) and we were there. When we arrived at the hotel it was snowing heavily, but the reception couldn't have been warmer. I wish […] we'd got the name of the receptionist - she was very friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and spacious and although the carpet had seen better days and didn't meet the wall in places, the decor was good. The separate bathroom and toilet is a good feature. We considered the restaurant in the hotel to be a tad pricey so went over to Terminal 1 to grab something to eat. This is less than a 2 minute walk from the hotel! We did have a drink in the bar after the concert and the prices were on the high side. The barman was also not in the best of moods - slamming change down on the counter and not uttering a word to us. He didn't make us feel very welcome at all - but it was late so I'm guessing he was either ending his shift, or starting it!! The breakfast was fantastic - a great buffet of cooked food, cereals, juices, pastries, fruit, yoghurts - everything you'd want to see there! Staff were attentive with teas and coffees. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay here and would definitely recommend - particularly if you are going to anything at the NEC or LG Arena. Læs mere

If you need to stay close to the Birmingham airport there is no more convienent hotel. This place is on the other side of the street from the terminal. The rooms are a bit spartan but fine. The service was excellent and the food and drink selection just fine. Overall a nice place but not highly luxurious.

We stayed here to be close the the NEC Arena for a show. It was very reasonable and a lovely hotel. Good menu with flexible hours of availability. Very comfortable, modern rooms. Bar area excellent with even a cocktail menu! Only complaint (if any) issue with parking. There is a carpark just off the hotel which we parked in assuming it was the hotel […] park. For an overnight stay they wanted £120 parking cgs. The hotel could have made this clear to us at check in to avoid this problem. Aparently there are signs outside but it was dark when we arrived and we didn't see them. Apart from this - we loved it and would definitely return again. Læs mere

The staff was courteous and helpful and the restaurant was nice, but overall it was the worse night in a hotel I've spent in years. Every time a toilet flushed, the pipes rattled for several minutes. Every time the air went on or off, in my room or another, the vents rattled. You could hear every noise made in the surrounding rooms. It probably would […] have been quieter to sleep outside. If you're a light sleeper, avoid this place. If you sleep like the dead, you might be ok. Læs mere

Very impressed, as I had expected it to be like many airport hotels who only tend to cater for 1 night stays. Nothing was too much trouble - room changed instantly as I wanted a bath rather than a shower, checked in 0800, very attentive and helpful check in staff. Food very good - would definitely stay again.
