Godt hotel lige ved 17-mile-drive. God kvalitet og perfekt hvis du skal overnatte på road-trip. Forvent dog en smule støj fra vejen.

Super beliggenhed lidt udenfor centrum med gode faciliteter. Poolområde er væk fra vejen og stille og roligt. Rigtigt godt til familier med et værelse i to etager (townhouse). Fin morgenmad.

Vi var meget glade for opholdet pga hotelværelsets indretning i to etager. Det fungerer rigtig godt med en familie på 5 personer. Vi kunne også godt lide den moderne stil. Der var en fin swimmingpool, som alle børn var glade for. Desuden var personalet meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Hotellet ligger lidt udenfor Monterey centrum, hvilket kræver, at man […] kører i bil og parkerer den inde i byen. We chose this hotel for a variety of reasons - and overall were pleased with our stay. One of the things that we wanted to do was swim in the pool and soak in the hot tub. The pool could have been a little cleaner - but the hot tub was fine. We enjoyed the firelplace in the room as well. The breakfast was continental but good. Although the hotel was mostly very nice. Good furniture and decor etc. Unfortunately our particular bathroom had a mouldy ceiling, and cleanliness issues in corners and around fittings. Disappointing because all else seemed fine

Great location, esp. For 17-mile drive. However, the room was TINY! It was also extremely loud! Not the nicest/cleanest inexpensive hotel. Typical continental breakfast.

Nice room but a bit small. Walls are paper thin!! The people above us must have had 2 or 3 children that began waking up around 6am. Very loud!! Parking lot right outside the front door and bedroom window which I didn't care for. Will definitely request an upstairs room next visit!

My husband and I chose this spot for it's moderate cost and nice looking rooms. We were surprised to find that it was soooo close to the 17 mile drive, and was not very far from Cannery row! (I should mention, we had a car). We were able to get everything we needed in the huge shopping center across the street. We had a great time. The service was terrific and the room was clean, warm and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub on a cold evening. The breakfast was really nice too.

All the paint and cool decor still couldn't mask the fact that this is a motel. Very noisy from street traffic and thin walls. Tiny room. Very stylish but not worth the price.

Nice rooms, relatively clean, gunk in corners of bathroom. Fireplace is very nice. Our problem was the heater: the thermostat didn't work, so it blast us way too hot until I turned it off, then we got way too cold. If it's good enough for the owners of the 2 Lamborghinis and 1 McLaren then it's good enough for me.

it's like a personal self-service hotel. There is no service at all. The heat is very uncomfortable since it make noise. And we all couldn't sleep well over that night. Will definitely not recommend others to stay there!

Highly recommended!!! Extremely clean, close to cannery row, friendly staff, decent continental breakfast. Just overall great. Would definitely stay there again!!!!

Our friend stayed in an adjoining room with her 4-year old daughter & we stayed in our "pet-friendly" room with our 3-year old French Bulldog. All of us were very happy with the accommodations and amenities at the Mariposa Inn & Suites. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Monterey.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient. Right across the street from shopping and great food. Minutes away from the beach and amazing hiking locations. Customer service was outstanding. Overall an excellent experience!

Rented the king suite with fireplace, worth every penny. the room was amazing, the staff was friendly (especially the morning breakfast staff). Hot tub, and warm pool, all great!!

My girl and I decided at the last minute to take weekend trip back home and found this place. When we came up to it, we noticed it was next to another hotel where we stayed at previously that seemed.. questionable. Once we got to our hotel and room, we were reassured that it is so very much better than the rooms next door. Nice comfy and spacious room […] w/ a nice fireplace. Beds were warm and fluffy. The room did have a heater but was on the far end of the room next to the outside wall. It was a cold and rainy day that day so we were freezing in the room. The bed did keep us nice and toasty though. The following morning we did wake up to a puddle of water and soaked carpet at the front door from the hard and heavy rains the night prior. We let the front desk know right away and the addressed it. Overall a great place and I would really recommend it and will stay again. Læs mere

Room was a little small but very well appointed and maintained. Very easy access from Highway 1 and reasonably close drive to Monterey sights. Convenient location right across the street from a very nice mall with decent restaurant choices. Good value for the money.

First issue is that they charge a $40 pet fee - PER NIGHT. That is a rather steep fee for a supposedly "PET FRIENDLY" hotel. Second issue was the fact that the sliding glass door, leading to our private patio, was rediculously difficult to open and close. We called for assistance thinking there was another latch that we were unaware of but found that […] the track was just not working properly. My wife was not strong enough to operate it, and it was even very difficult for me, an avid weightlifter. This patio would have been great for our dog, but it did not work out that way. Very clean, super cute and modern. Very comfortable and great service. Great breakfast and new, fun little place. Nice staff, free parking! Great rates and definitely would recommend.

For the money and location this is a very nice and roomy hotel. The rooms are very good size and clean. Driving to the conference and the aquarium was ten minutes away and parking was free so no add on fees for that nor a resort fee. The pool is heated year round at 86% and the jacuzzi is on a timer for easy use. Mariposa is at the end of Munras; convenient to Hwy 1 North or South. If you are concentrating on the Aquarium there are better-located hotels to stay at. This one is perfect for accessing neighboring areas for further exploration of Monterey County. Suite layout is the best we've encountered, but ask for 3rd flr room if you don't want someone 'walking […] on your ceiling'! The interior was really clean and cozy, and the location was great. Whole Foods is across the street so very convenient for getting something to take back to the hotel and enjoy the fire pit.

It was a solid hotel room, nice modern look and feel to the decor. Really appreciated the free breakfast, with the wide variety of breakfast pasteries, yoguart, beverages.

i picked this hotel based on review rating. The hotel is clean, and the location is great (so close to Del Monte Shopping Center). Year round swimming pool and spa. The breakfast is simple, it has juice, milk, cereal, pastries, yogurt. However, the room (King bed) is so small. Although this hotel may appear close to the freeway the rooms facing the pool are extremely quite at night. I'm a light sleeper so this was my main concern. The room was also very clean and tastefully appointed with pictures of aquatic life to set the mood for a Monterey Bay weekend stay. It is also conveniently located across the street from the Del […] Monte Shopping center that has a Whole Foods and a ton of other shopping and dining. The room we stayed in was on the second floor. It had a townhouse above us. The room was so noisy from the people above us just by them walking around the room. Every time they went up the stairs in their units it sounded like elephants walking across the ceiling. Also, when they ran the water in their unit it caused a high piercing sound that we got […] to wake up to bright and early in the morning. We were told that our room had a private patio which it did not. It was shared by the room next store and accessible to anyone. When asked if we could switch rooms, the manager was not very accommodating and was going to put us in a lower rate room but was not willing to compensate us for the difference. All updated decorated rooms. Pool and spa areas wsere lovely as was the landscaping.

The staff was very helpful. All questions were answered clearly and desk clerks went out of their way to make sure we found sites we wanted to visit.

Rooms were small - the king bed took up most of the room. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room, but we weren't there long enough to really take advantage of them. There was some white "gunk" on the headboard of the bed which really grossed me out. About 11:30pm someone on the floor above us must have turned on their shower and it […] made the most horrible noise. It startled us both out of a sound sleep and lasted for about 15 minutes. The shower tap was very finicky and loose and it made it hard to turn the water on and off and get it to the right temperature. Garbage pails had bags hung over the side, so we had to open them up and put them in the pails ourselves. Overall I would try somewhere else next time. Læs mere

My wife, dog, and I were greeted by friendly staff. They even helped us find a dog friendly place to eat dinner. The Inn was recently renovated with nice landscaping. The room was a king with a sitting room. The whole room was clean and spacious. We had a fireplace and 2 flatscreen TVs. Everything had a "green" touch too. There were motion sensors on […] all the light switches. The toilet was a water saver. All the lights had CFL bulbs. I liked that. On our natural slate stone patio were two shared table and chair sets. They had a nice dog "potty" area too. In the morning we awoke to a simple but good continental breakfast, and our dog was allowed on the sunfilled patio. Location: not much in walking distance but 2 miles from Carmel Beach (off-leash & dog friendly), 1.5 miles to Monterey fishermans warf, one freeway exit from a "17-mile drive" enterance.
