Rigtig god beliggenhed i forhold til LAX og super med shuttle service. Lidt uheldig med swimmingpoolområde var under reperation, vi blev henvist af en lidt smart receptionist til nabohotel, hvor der var mange problemer med at komme ind. Gode værelser.

Virkelig god service fra alt personalet, meget opmærksomme. Dejlig morgen buffet med mange forskellige ting. Svimmingpool området er ok, kunne være mere hyggeligt hvis det var mere tæt buskads ud til hovedvejen evt. sammen med støjdæmpende anordning. Det samme gør sig gældende ved basket banen. Fitnes rummet er meget småt, der er 2 løbebånd og 1 crosstrainer, samt en multimaskine til forskellige øvelser, ikke særlig god. Vaskerummet er ok. Der er rent og pænt alle steder. Madrassen i sengen og sovesofaen kunne være bedre. Et sted vi godt kunne finde på at vælge igen.

Hotellet er lille, men rigtig hyggeligt. Værelserne er rimelig små, men pladsen er udnyttet godt og har alt hvad man skal bruge. Værelserne er pæne, rene og hyggelige. Personalet er super søde og MEGET hjælpsomme. Morgenmadsbuffeten er lille med et lille udvalg, men stadig fin og nok til at starte dagen på. Hotellet ligger et par hundrede meter fra Beverly Centret, som har et hav af butikker (inkl Macy´s og Bloomingdales) og en håndfuld spisesteder. Skråt over for hotellet ligger der også et supermarked/stor kiosk som har åbent 24 timer i døgnet. Beliggenhed er lidt svært at tale om når man er i LA, da byen er kæmpe stor og har mange områder, men Beverly området er et af de pænere områder og Hollywood Boulevard og Sunset Boulevard ligger ca 10 min i bil op af sidegaden. Hotellet kan helt klart anbefales og er et hotel vi godt kunne vende tilbage til hvis vi igen skulle komme forbi LA.

"Great stay"
The hotel grounds and surrounding area are really beautiful. Friendly valet staff. Large rooms. They were filming a sitcom at the hotel during our stay. Had to travel around the filming areas. My daughter and her friend had some fruit off of the breakfast buffet and they were charged $30+. They didn't realize that they would be charged the buffet price. "Langham Huntington Hotel"
The bed was the most comfortable that my husband and I have ever slept in and we are in our 70s and have slept in a lot of beds. The concierge, Michele, was very helpful when we asked her questions about a city that is near Pasadena. It was a great all around experience staying at the Langham. Thank you !

The place is beautiful and the service is great everyone is so friendly. The only complaint is that for the price of the room you would think that parking would be free for it's guest $25.00 a night is a little steep and there's no self parking.

This was my third stay at the Langham in Pasadena, and each time reinforces my opinion, that this is one of the loveliest, friendliest, hotels in Southern Cal. "Terrific experience"
I had a lovely weekend at the hotel and would like to return. Only thing I didn't know when I booked the reservation was that they charge $25 for parking per day.
"Not quite worth the money"
The Langham is in a gorgeous location. You can tell it's an older hotel property and it's doing the best it can to keep up with the times. The positives: - great toiletries in the bathroom - beautiful grounds - overall the service was fantastic (aside from our waiter in the poolside restaurant at dinner and we're pretty sure it was his first night […] on the job. That created some hiccups but he tried to be as nice as accommodating as possible.) Some negatives: - Thin walls! We were awoken at 1am from the sounds of, um, our neighbors in the next room getting it on. Loudly. I almost called security just to ask them to keep it down. When paying that much per night, thin walls are a hard thing to overlook. - The bed was nothing special in terms of comfort. - The furnishings in the room could use an update. - We had a lightbulb that had burned out in our standing lamp. I called the front desk to request another and they said they would send someone. It never arrived. - Our dinner at the restaurant next to the pool was way overpriced given the quality of the food. I'd never eat there again. Overall, I'd say I was disappointed in terms of value for the money. I like what the Langham is "trying" to be in terms of a luxury property. But it's just not quite there. "Don't be fooled by the pictures"
The pictures fooled me into thinking I would get a nice large beautiful room with elegant furniture and wonderful ambiance.....don't get suckered like I did. The room was small with old furniture and a crappy bathroom that didn't work properly. I had a room with two double beds which were lumpy and very uncomfortable. Hotel rooms are quite worn. Was not impressed with the quality & decor of the rooms..reminded me of an ordinary chain hotel room. The toilet didn't flush, the sink wouldn't drain, shower door wouldn't seal so water leaked all over the bathroom floor & the bathtub had rust so I didn't bother getting in. "Great Hotel -- But Watch Out for the Bar Noise!"
I'm not your typical reviewer of hotels/restaurants. I know where the delete button is when I receive the requests to review. However, I want to make sure I qaulify the objective answers regarding this property. My wife and I typically will spend our Christmas Holiday in SoCal (we're from the Bay Area). For the past several years, we've visted family/friends […] in the Pasadena area on Christams/the day after and we usually stay at Hilton properties. A number of years ago I'd stayed at the Langham and liked the experience so I decided to change it up a bit this year and booked at the Langham. We'd spent the previous two days down in San Diego and drove up Christmas night to Pasadena. Traffic was rough for a Christmas Day (evening), so I was really looking forward to lazying around the hotel room, maybe walking the property--just hanging out in general. My wife passed out (exhaustion--not alcohol!) around 9:00 pm and I laid in bed finishing up the Warrior's/Clipper's game, turning out the light at around 10:30 pm. It was then that I noticed a constant buzz coming from the bar located at the base of the opposite wing of the hotel. I kind of chuckled, thinking that things would quite down. Well, they didn't. I think it was 1:30 am when things started to quiet down. I would have called down to the front desk, but: (A) the noise was so obvious, I wouldn't be the first (so I knew they already knew it was a problem); and (B) I didn't want to disturb my wife. So, I laid there in bed and stewed about the extra $50/night I was paying vs. the Hilton where I'd received so many better nights' sleep!!! I can only guess there were guests with way more "juice" than us commoners (maybe Brad and Angelina--who knows?) that the hotel was willing to accomodate with late night revelry (this wasn't just a dull roar--which it was--but it was punctuated with "Hey Bobs" or "Merry Christmases" every once in a while. "Nipped to frustration"
Hotel has some positives: It is the best hotel on east side of LA; it is in a posh neighborhood; it has beautiful grounds; and, it is generous with light sockets. Many many more negatives. Coming from Asia, we are used to "all inclusive" services. This hotel specializes in "all exclusive" services starting with the car. There is no way to get here without […] a car. Once here, there is no self parking, only a valet plus a heavy night charge. Internet is $10 per day per device. Pillows are wimpy. Towels are threadbare. Toiletries are inadequate. And, even though they knew my flight was 9PM, they would not even extend checkout to 1PM (even if I paid them). Everyone expected a tip for everything. We counted spending almost $20 in singles for just one day. Turns out this is mostly a local wedding hotel. "Langham in Pasadena-great for short get away"
We had a great time. The grounds are well kept and attractive, the room was immaculate, tastefully decorated and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only minor complaint was the TV was old and could be upgraded. A great place for a romantic get away.
"Nice...."
I usually request a King Size Bed. I was in a room with two Queen Size Beds. I slept two nights in one bed, and realized that the bed was not comfortable...tried the other bed, same result. I think they are due to have the mattresses updated. Everything else about the hotel was lovely.

The hotel and staff were outstanding. Comfortable room with great bed! TV not exceptional nor HD and no DVR/VCR availability. Surcharge for WiFi. The grounds are gorgeous. Pool delightful and warm. Front desk and concierge staff very pleasant and helpful. Exceptional and quiet with attentive service.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The front desk upgraded us to a cottage since our room was not ready. However, as great as that was we had a couple of issues with the room. I took a shower and could not get any hot water. Also the shower door was stuck on the shower frame and it came off its hinges. The grounds and hotel itself are great. Very nice surrunding environment. But the room face carpark and gabbish station, in the morning 7:00am, the gabbish truck come and you can't sleep any more. Air conditioning has big noise, 70's bathroom, 80's TV, wifi not work. Good place for recall the 70's, 80's life. But not a good place as a bussiness hotel. Loved the ambience of the place, "old(er) world elegance," the public spaces (courtyard, bar, pool, gardens, etc.) were beautiful, our room was very nice, beds deliciously comfortable, friendly courteous staff. "Langham review"
This was our second stay at the hotel this year and we were anxious to return. However, the checkin did not go well. After the valet wisked our car away I realized I had left my purse in the car. I immediately told the clerk at the reception desk who told me to tell the valet, which I did, who told me to tell the clerk. He had a problem understanding […] but after some explaining he said he would have it sent to the room. He didn't. Forty five minutes later we had to back down to the desk and nothing had been done. I was concerned about the purse as I had a newly replaced Iphone in it and a smart key. The car could not be locked with my purse in the car. Except for the wonderful service we received the lounge where we go for drinks and bar food the service in the hotel was not what we expected or had had before. Læs mere

"Less than expected"
The hotel is a very nice property, but on this visit the service was sub par. The pool was closed to regular guests for several days, which was a disappointment. More importantly, they failed to execute a wake up call as requested that caused me to miss an early flight.
Great hotel. I stay here all the time when it is priced well.

Stayed over Labor Day weekend in Sept 2011. The staff was friendly and the hotel was beautiful.The spa was gorgeous, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the pool was warm and large and the grounds of the hotel are worth strolling through.
