The room smelt mustyI was given room with 2 single beds. I haven't slept in single bed since I was a child. Bed was also uncomfortable so I didn't have a good nights sleep. I needed to drive to Atherton Sunday for work Monday. Very disappointing experience

Right in the middle of Cairns, close to all the action. Interior is now quite old and dated but for the price and locations, something has got to give. Will stay here again :)

This hotel was wonderful for the price we paid! It was the perfect location, no doubt about that, but it was older and they were renovating their pool. They did give us free towels to use and since there is a beautiful public pool across the street it wasn't a problem. Our room was good-- very clean and well maintained, but due for new carpet and maybe […] some replacement grout in the tub. The bed was 2 singles put together--not too noticeable but the mattresses were extremely firm. The staff was very helpful, especially the lady in charge of organizing excursions. Services such as internet and telephone use were expensive and the only place around with free internet was a McDonald's with very slow service. There was a TV with a few channels, but no DVD player. Overall, our experience was great and we'd stay at the same hotel again, unless our budget was significantly larger. Læs mere

needs better maintenance in rooms, ( air con leak over floor over night, we nearly slipped over ) needs friendly staff at front desk, need to tell guest that we will still charge you full price for breakfast but you have 10 mins to eat it because we are taking the food away,

Close to all night life and restaurants with easy access to ferries to the Reef. Breakfast provided was excellent. Recommended because staff very friendly and Casino over the road.

The hotel was all right and in a very nice location. The problem was with the shower pressure at the ninth floor. Basically no water was coming out of the shower. The other problem was the number of warnings they had posted all over; comments like "if you leave the bathroom door open and steam gets into the room you will be penalized this much". or […] "fill the bath tub only to half full, otherwise..." Fabulously located on the corner of the Esplanade and Spence St the hotel is close to shopping, the Conference Centre, restaurants, the Casino, the marina, lagoon pool and Trinity Inlet. My room was one of the deluxe front rooms with large size, a king bed, balcony overlooking water and marina and plenty of room to relax in. The bathroom was a little […] dated , with shower in bath, but very clean and functional. Overall the decor was pleasant, if a little dated, and the room was maintained daily in a scrupulously clean and tidy way by the house staff. I also had a laundry room on my floor. For the price it was an excellent choice, and had the amenity and comfort of hotels in higher price brackets. I will happily stay there again on future trips to Cairns. Læs mere

Stayed 3 nights at the Pacific International Cairns, Australia. Right on the Esplanade with shops, restaurants, etc within 2 minute walk. Hotel was given a super high rating and so we decided to book it. I think the rating was 9.4 out of 10 or something like that. I would not have given it a 9.4. In my book it is a solid 8.5. King room was two twin […] beds pushed together. However, the pad covered the beds nicely and you could hardly notice. Beds were good, but not soft. Internet useage was expensive and you had to use the computer in the lobby, but they do have a printer you can use there. McDonald's has free wifi just 2 blocks away. The staff were very friendly. Check in and out was a breeze. The air conditioning will freeze you out of the room if you're not careful. A great thing! The rooms are a bit dated, but immaculately clean. Our room on the 9th floor had a bit of a view of the bay. You are a 2 minute walk from Reef Tour Boats. Great location. Nice staff. I'd recommend this hotel and would stay there again. Toni, at the lobby tour booking desk, is knowledgable about all the area tours. She helped us book the Cape tribulation Tour which was GREAT! She also got us booked on a Reef Magic Tour which was also WONDERFUL! Snorkeling, diving, feeding massive fish was an absolute blast. Buffet lunch on the boat was delicious. Shrimp, sandwich meat, curry, rice, veggie lasagna, and much more. Had a great time in Cairns and was very pleased with the hotel. Læs mere

We had a very comfortable 4 nights in the Pacific International Hotel, which was conveniently situated to all shops, restaurants, marina etc. The staff were all very polite and went out of their way to help us. We highly recommend to everyone.

The location is very good. It is easy to go to restaurant, souvenir shop and bar. And the room view is petty good. I can see sea, mountain and the city. It is fantastic. However, the TV set is very old and only a few channels. Considering the price, I have to say that it's ok but not perfect. You guys could try mantra trilogy which has similar location […] if the price is cheaper. Læs mere

We traveled around Australia and New Zealand and I must say we were most impressed with the Pacific International in Cairns. From the time we checked in to the time we left, our stay was extremely pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful and when they heard it was our anniversary, they sent up a bottle of champagne for us to celebrate. Their tour […] director/concierge guided us to the most impressive tours with extremely knowledgeable, friendly guides, and small groups of people. Our room was amazing with a beautiful view of the harbor and a lovely balcony that we were able to thoroughly enjoy in the evenings while drinking our wine and/or champagne. Another plus is that it is in the middle of all shopping and a short walk to many fantastic restaurants and the harbor with all the excursion boats. Læs mere

Great hotel, has everything you need & in a great spot right near the bay where all the dive trips go from.

Stayed the 1 night on the way to an Island holiday. Did the job. Not too expensive, was clean and well organised. Had no issues compared with another hotel on the way back that cost twice as much and was really run-down. Highly recommended!

Excellent service, very reasonable rates and ideally located for all downtown and marine facilities at Cairns. Couldn't fault anything, strongly recommend and will certainly return when the opportunity arises.

This is a well-maintained older hotel in a great location. Good staff. My only complaint is the in-room internet fee being so high.

Very nice hotel; clean but a little older. Mattress could use an updating. As Americans we find the lack of amenities a little disappointing - coffee prices are absurd and it's hard to understand how Aussie hotels have missed the boat with free internet or free wi-fi, but this is not unique to this location. Convenient location and helpful staff.

The best feature of this hotel is its location; it is right smack in the middle of Cairns Harbor. There is no shortage of restaurants, gift shops, and clubs nearby, if a little too touristy. The hotel itself is a little older, but it is fine considering the price. Hotel charges for internet use, so I walked a block away to McDoanlds's and ordered a […] coffee while using their WiFi. 主人と二人で一週間滞在しました。清潔感のあるホテルでした。立地も良く、出歩くにもとても便利な場所でした。近くに大きなスーパーがあり、ミネラルウォーターなど重たい物を買っても近くなのでそれも楽でした。 グリーンアイランドやグレートバリアリーフへ行くツアーのボートが出航するターミナルも徒歩3分程度でこちらもすごく便利で助かりました。 お部屋の清掃も毎日すごく丁寧で気持ちよく滞在中は気持ちよく過ごせました。 一階にあるツアーデスクではレンタカーや様々なツアーの手配をお願いしましたが親切に対応していただけました。 また、コインランドリーもホテル内に何カ所かあり使用させていただきましたが、こちらもキレイでした。イメージでは海外の洗濯機、乾燥機は威力が強く、洋服が傷んでしまうのではないかと心配でしたが、 […] デリケート（日本で言うドライ）洗いもでき、こちらも安心でした。 Læs mere

どこに行くにも便利な場所でしかもリーゾナブルな価格でした。また、フロントの対応も良く、特にJetstarの突然のキャンセルで帰国が一日延期の時には素早く対応してもらえた。Jetstarからの保証は全くなくて自腹になったが、同じ部屋に宿泊可能となり大変助かった。

１．グリーンアイランドへのアクセスに便利。徒歩５分でハーバーの地の利。 ２．１Ｆｎｏインフォーメーションのトニーという女性が非常に世話好きな人柄で観光スケジュール作成の相談に親切に対応。グレート　バリヤー　リーフ上空の遊覧が最高に美しかった。 ３．ハーバー沿いのレストラン（地球の歩き方に掲載）が近くにあって美味しかった

大変立地条件にすぐれ、ケアンズシティ内の殆んどの場所へ徒歩で出かけることができました。ロビーが狭く、第一印象は少し安っぽい感じを受けてしまいましたが、今回利用したエグゼクティブルームは程よい広さで、満足しています。
