Super lækkert hotel meget tæt på den berømte shopping gade Via Monte Napoleone. Ligger generelt tæt på alle de store seværdigheder. Hotellet er rigtig fint, i flot stand og med flotte badeværelser. Har været der flere gange, og der har altid været pænt og rent. Det eneste minus kunne være deres generelle service, men det er nok ikke anderledes andre […] steder i Italien. De er altså lidt arrogante, også på dette hotel. Sidst jeg var der virkede deres internet ikke på værelserne, og selv om de den første dag påstod at det ville være oppe og køre snarligt, virkede det stadig ikke da jeg tog afsted 4 dage senere. Desuden oplevede jeg en lige hæftig nok mistænkeligørelse over hvis jeg fik besøg af Italianske venner/veninder. De skulle både visse ID og så videre... også elvom jeg havde meldt deres ankomst i receptionen. Men alt i alt er det absolut et hotel jeg gerne vender tilbage til næsten igen... Læs mere

Godt hotel, godt vedligeholdt med lidt ældre stil. men pænt og rent og meget venligt, hjælpsomt personale.. Lidt spartansk morgenkomplet men hyggeligt og overskueligt. Ved korte besøg i Milano vil jeg gerner anbefale dette hotel. Dog ikke ved besøg på mere end f.eks. en forlænget weekend. Men ved kortere besøg for at se byen eller shoppeture i byen […] er dette hotel meget anbefalelsesværdigt da der kun er 500 - 600 meter til byens "hotte" shoppebutikker og andre seværdigheder. Dejligt hotel, meget centralt i gå afstand til det meste. Dejligt stort værelse. Super skønt at sætte sig ude i gårdhaven efter en lang dag i byen og blive forkælet med et godt glas vin eller en kold øl. Personalet er meget opmærksomme og hjælpsomme.

Vi var 3 voksne, fik værelse bestående af to rum, havde god plads til os 3. Fint beliggenhed ved en park, tæt på centrum og seværdigheder. Meget varieret morgenmad, 3 slags kager, frugt o.s.v. behageligt atmosfære. Der mangler el kedel eller kaffemaskine på værelset, ellers lidt gammeldags, men fint sted at være + dejlige udendørs arealer med hyggeligt […] indretning. Læs mere

Outside 28 degrees celcius, indside 28 degrees celsius. The Hotel staf did not mean that this was hot enough for turning on the aircondition.

Udmærket hotel forholdsvis tæt på centrum. Velholdt og god rengøringsstandard. Udmærket morgenmadsbuffet.

Hotel Manin ligger meget centralt og der er en rar atmosfærer

Vi synes at hotellet ikke lever op til dets 4 stjerner, da servicen og atmosfæren var middelmådig. Hotellet var under renovering og vi har ikke fået information om dette hverken under reservationsprocessen eller da vi ankom til hotellet. Håndværkerne gik i gang med arbejdet meget tidligt om morgen og sluttede sent om natten og dette gav søvnforstyrrelser. […] Hver gang vi spurgte efter noget i receptionen så fik vi et standardsvar "We will find out if possible", men vi fik aldrig svaret eller den forespurgte service. Kvaliteten af morgenmaden var heller ikke god, da maden var prefabrikerede produkter såsom dåsefrugt. Læs mere

Super beliggenhed. Dog en del banken fra øvre værelser - måske var vi bare uheldige. Rengøringen bankede på kl. 8.30 - Det er simpelthen for tidligt, når man er på ferie! Morgenmaden var dejlig og personalet imødekommende - hurtig ud- og indcheckning.

Ud af et ophold med 5 overnatninger havde hotellet lukket restauranten de 4 dage, den ene dag var dog helligdag. Dette burde de have oplyst om ved reservationen. Vi oplevede, at 3 herrer kom om aftenen og bad om lidt at spise. Der blev sagt nej. De kunne ikke engang få et stykke brød. Det var alt for dårligt.

The hotel is only a short walk from the city centre and has a nice park just across the street. Metro only 5 minutes walk away. Ideal for a romantic weekend, if you just would do window-shopping or buy fashion! Breakfast with parma-ham and parmesan-cheese.

We were unable to find any english speaking channels on the TV

Hotel Manin is located just outside the old city gates in a nice area of town. It's a quick 2-3 minute walk to Shopping on Via Della Spiga and Via Manzioni, a 7 minute walk to La Scala, and a 10 minute walk to the Duomo. The Milan Cardona train station (with express trains to MXP) is a solid half hour walk from the hotel -- wouldn't recommend walking […] with bags -- but there are lots of taxis for the short ride. The value for the hotel was very good. The guests appeared to be split pretty evenly between business traveler and tourist. The lobby, restaurant and hallways were all newly renovated in a sleek style. My hotel room was nice, but still had dated 1990s decoration. Breakfast was standard European style with a good number of offerings. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Læs mere

Location very good , walking distance from shopping area and touristique attractions, also opposite a very beautiful park . The people are very friendly and helpful .

Great location,on route for open top bus and walking distance to all sights.breakfast area was very crowed and a wait for tables most mornings.Park oppersite a great thing with children.

Very mixed feelings. We booked a junior suite which to be honest was very tired and very dissappointing. Worse than that was that the heating didn't work and we froze. We complained and ended up down-grading to a superior double and hotels.com did a great job to get us a refund. The Hotel manager when pushed was very helpful. We were shown another couple […] of the suites but they were just as bad!! The superior double was actually very good and clearly part of the Hotel has been renovaated and part of it hasn't. If you get one of the new rooms then this is a great hotel with a brilliaant location. If you don't then you will probably be very dissappointed! Læs mere

This is a good hotel if you enjoy walking as a way of exploring a city. The route into the city takes you past the fashion houses of Europe, La Scala and some friendly cafes to pause for a coffee. I found the staff friendly and helpful. Included in the room rate, the breakfast was generous. The evening meal? I was less impressed. The front desk staff […] suggested much better options. Thanks for making our stay in Paris so pleasant! We shall certainly stay at Hotel Manin on a return visit.

Our family of four, only spent one night here and it was perfect to walk to the Theatre and the Duomo as well as the main shopping strip. For the very reasonable price we paid it was excellent value, the staff were courteous and helpful and even booked us a lovely local restaurant for dinner. The family room was quite a decent size as european hotel […] rooms go! Breakfast too was quite decent with a hot and cold selection. It is a 35 to 40 minute taxi ride to Milpensa airport. Its a cozy and elegant hotel located next to a park and just set aside from the goings on in the city. There is a beautifully decorated lounge with friendly staff that is a great place to unwind and have a delicious drink/best cappuccino. It is a short walk to shopping and metro. I was very happy with my choice.

Great hotel, excellent location and wonderful, helpful staff, especially recommending great restaurants. Lovely garden breakfast area. Bar area opened for food but would have liked more in hotel restaurant options. The hotel restaurant seemed to be closed frequently. Would definately stay there again.

What a find. This is a warm and friendly family run hotel with all the elegance and exclusivity of a premium hotel chain. It is located right opposite the municipal park and botanical gardens and is a short-walk from the shopping district. For Milan, this hotel was reasonably priced. Our room (#122) was better than average size for Europe, with a respectable amount of closet and drawer space for clothes. The room was very quiet, overlooking a park on a quiet street. The hotel was a little bit of a walk (maybe 15 minutes) to the main sights (the Duomo, La Scala and the Milan castle), but […] a quick cab ride to both Milan Centrale and Milan Nord train stations. There are both subways and buses, but we opted to hike it - which allowed us to check out some Renaissance and older churches not listed in our guidebook. The hotel's service was a little perfunctory, and our floor was dusty our entire three-day stay. On our last morning, the desk missed our wake-up call, which could have been a real problem since the room also had no alarm clock. The bathroom was good, allowing for the European half-guard on the shower. But very limited counter space, a common problem in European hotels. The buffet breakfast was good, with hot selections as well as cold (avoid the boiled bacon!). TV options in English were mostly news, especially business news, and some sports, especially soccer. The Italian channels show plenty of American movies and TV shows, but dubbed rather than subtitled, so you're on your own. Læs mere

We only stayed here one night after one full day of sight-seeing in Milan but we would definitely stay here again. The room was certainly clean, very comfortable, and was in a convenient location off of Milan's Metro system (which is very easy to use) but we were able to walk all around Milan from this hotel. We enjoyed drinks at the outdoor bar at […] night and even ate in the hotel restaurant which provided good service (although I would say the food is just ok). Old hotel in excellent location and good price. It was hard to locate it with our GPS and the parking in the dear by parking was 30 euros for 24 hours!

For those who are looking for a hotel 5 min walking to the Domum and with a good service, this is a good alternative! We found it quite nice and the location was amazing...outside the main center but just 5 min away...nice breakfast and nice view to the park! would go back for sure...

The airconditioner broke down during our stay. its sufocating and we asked the hotel person to check and his reply is ;'' Sorry, i am not a technition.'' For the price that we are paying , i suggest that you look for other hotels.

on arrival at the hotel manin we found the reception staff very friendly and helpful and check in was a breeze . the hotel was exceptionally clean the lifts were small but there were 2 of them. the room was a very good size and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good, and again the staff very friendly. the hotel is opposite a lovely park […] so nice to just stroll round and relax. its is also withing easy walking distance of the duomo, and all the sightseeing spots. also the big designer shops. we could not fault the hotel manin and would highly recommend it to anybody planning a visit to milan . We were only there for a couple of nights, but the sewage smell from the toilet got worse each day. It seemed to happen when you flushed the toilet. After our room had been cleaned, the smell was at its worst (since the cleaner probably did a lot of flushing) Other than that, the hotel was nice. If we had been there for more than a couple of nights, […] i would have switched rooms. It was warm enough outside that we could open the windows to air it out. Good Hotel with friendly service. Everyone speaks good english atleast makes themselves understood. Great shopping in the surrounding areas.

It worked all well. Very kind and professional staff, good hotel location, good rooms conditions. Satisfactory breakfast and uncomplicated check-out. Totally to recomend.

This is a cosy hotel with a great garden in the back with a great atmosphere. The rooms are good and the neighborhood was quiet because of the nearby park. A good perk was that it was close to the yellow metro line so you could get to any of the sites covered by metro within minutes. Less than a kilometer from the Duomo and next to a park made this the perfect location. 2 stops from Centrali train station made it easy to get to as well and as a base of operation. Very comfortable, quite neighborhood across from park, easy walking distance to many attractions! This was a nice place!

We got a good deal on this hotel through hotels.com and it definitely lived up to its 4* status. The staff were incredibly helpful and spoke good english whilst humouring my poor italian. The rooms were large and very clean and the en suites were obviously newly refurbished. The balcony gave us more space and the air conditioning was a god send in the […] warm evenings. We stayed in the Golden Tulip in Konstanze Germany and it was a lot cleaner and updated than this one. furnishing and decor needs to be updated!! I was disappointed in what i had to pay for the quality! This should be considered a three star hotel. The dining was terrible! Breakfast was ok. Dinner was not !

No one knows it as the Golden Tulip Manin, just as the Manin. It was a very good value. We traveled without a lap top or a smart phone, so using the hotel's lobby computer was a little expensive, but it worked. The restaurant was very good on all counts - quality of food and service. Overall, it was a fine place to stay. There was some construction […] going on that bothered us in the first room we were assigned, but the management was glad to give us a better room when we complained about the noise. Læs mere
