There were no wash clothes in the room. Had to go to front desk to get some. Toilet had mold around it and was dirty. Was there 2 days and did not get linen changed or trash emptied. There was no ironing board. It was not a good hotel experiencce.

I have always think of this hotel as not up to par with the once I used to stay, but I was surprised. It was very clean, the room was larger than I expected, the service was good. My only complaint was the early morning noise from the people next to us. I would definitely stay there again. A fridge in the room would also be nice.

Our stay was average at best. It appeared that the walls were in need of paint, or they missed small areas of the wall if it was just repainted. As far as the staff is concerned Ty was very helpful in providing recommendations for dinner and for directions to depart for Memphis.

For the price the hotel is a good value. The handicap accessible room has a shower/tub with plenty of good grab bars and a chair to use. The room was clean - only problem was smell of cigarette smoke. Didn't realize we were on smoking floor. Overall, experience was good and will stay there in the future when we are traveling through the area.

I was put into a smoking room even though didn't want to be. There were kids running up and down hallway until 3 am and the hotel employees did nothing about it even though I called them 3 times - they were very pleasant, though. I always love to stay at LaQuinta whenever I travel. I know the room will be comfortable, clean, and inviting. The quality of the breakfast is a definite drawing card because of my limited budget for travel. Thank you Hotel.com and LaQuinta for making my stay in Birmingham carefree and comfortable.

U would think they would have a frig or a microwave in your room... Food isn't all that it plays up to be... It was fine for one night. The front desk girl was very friendly and helpful and the location was great - easy off the freeway and restaurants close by. The hotel itself is in bad need of attention. The guest elevator looks like a freight elevator it's badly beat up as are the hallways. I really thought I was at a Motel 6 and not a La Quinta. Looked great from the outside but inside was in bad shape and needs updating. Carpet needs replacing, elevators were very dirty, and the entire place needs new paint. However, the free Wi-Fi worked great.

It is a nice La Quinta Inn. It is in need of some attention to detail maintenance. Doors need painting, bathrooms could use some fresh new chalking, vents need dusting, ect. Food quality at breakfast was very good.

My family and I enjoy our stay but I would like for the hotel to make sure they keep washcloth in the bathroom at all time be for the guest get there, things like soap, shampoo, shower cape do help!!

The hotel itself was OK but our trailer was stolen off the back of our SUV. We were a late check-in at midnight and by 7am the trailer was gone. There are no cameras around the outside of the hotel so nothing to deter crooks.

Had a wonderful stay! Very comfortable, clean, and loved a hotel that welcomed my little pet.

The room was clean and comfortable, but there were some maintenance issues in the hotel at large. The carpet needs replacing in the hallways. The most disappointing feature was the disrepair of the workout room, a major consideration for me when I travel. The weight machine and the step machine were both broken.

Our stay was not horrible but during our two night trip the keys to the door stopped working four times and upon arrival we were sent to an acupied room. The location did feel like a safe though.

I booked this hotel specifically because it had a pool, but when we arrived (in season, no less), we found a dark green, scummy cesspool with several inches of dirt at the bottom. The hot tub was usable, but the lack of care given to the pool didn't inspire a lot of confidence. The hotel lacks maintenance shows sign of wear and tear and it is evident that the owner has not made improvements in the facility. The carpet in the hallways and room is very dirty, worn and bunched up almost causing my wife to trip. When we arrived the room wasnt ready but they placed use in another room that was ready. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful despite being swamped. Stores where near by and so were places to eat. The room was clean although the elevator was scary and slow.

Overall, a good stay, but pool closed, and had to change rooms as tv did not work. but manager helped me move quickly.

We were in Birmingham because of the terminal illness of a family member. It was good, after sad and stressfull days, to relax, have a cigarette and comforting to be able to have our family pet with us.

The toliet in this hotel was broken as soon as I entered the room. I heard pounding noises all night. I was not impressed with the noise level.

It was ok..... But I ended up disappointed.... The rep told me i would have a fridge and i didn't.... And I left my bluetooth,called as soon as i realized it like ten minutes after i left.... The lady said they had it up at front desk... Got there to get it a few days later and it was gone..... Just sad.....

We found this hotel to be clean and comfortable. The area was very nice and safe with a mall located very closeby and lots of food options.

Overall, the stay was good. Facility is decent and the breakfast was great. Courteous staff. Drawbacks: No ice, Jacuzzi did not bubble, no housekeeping one day. I would stay again.

This is the worst hotel ever!!!!!! There were no Towels until 11 am. While the staff was friendly, there hasn't been any investment in the hotel.

Hotel was dirty. Carpet was worn & dirty. Elevators were old & dirty. One day we didn't receive any clean towels. When I called to ask about this the front desk said they were being washed.
