Fint hotel med meget kort gå afstand til Universal Studios. Gode parkerings forhold, og behagelige værelser.Også nemt at komme videre rundt i LA, hvis man har bil.

Rigtig god beliggenhed i forhold til LAX og super med shuttle service. Lidt uheldig med swimmingpoolområde var under reperation, vi blev henvist af en lidt smart receptionist til nabohotel, hvor der var mange problemer med at komme ind. Gode værelser.

Virkelig god service fra alt personalet, meget opmærksomme. Dejlig morgen buffet med mange forskellige ting. Svimmingpool området er ok, kunne være mere hyggeligt hvis det var mere tæt buskads ud til hovedvejen evt. sammen med støjdæmpende anordning. Det samme gør sig gældende ved basket banen. Fitnes rummet er meget småt, der er 2 løbebånd og 1 crosstrainer, samt en multimaskine til forskellige øvelser, ikke særlig god. Vaskerummet er ok. Der er rent og pænt alle steder. Madrassen i sengen og sovesofaen kunne være bedre. Et sted vi godt kunne finde på at vælge igen.

Hotellet er lille, men rigtig hyggeligt. Værelserne er rimelig små, men pladsen er udnyttet godt og har alt hvad man skal bruge. Værelserne er pæne, rene og hyggelige. Personalet er super søde og MEGET hjælpsomme. Morgenmadsbuffeten er lille med et lille udvalg, men stadig fin og nok til at starte dagen på. Hotellet ligger et par hundrede meter fra Beverly Centret, som har et hav af butikker (inkl Macy´s og Bloomingdales) og en håndfuld spisesteder. Skråt over for hotellet ligger der også et supermarked/stor kiosk som har åbent 24 timer i døgnet. Beliggenhed er lidt svært at tale om når man er i LA, da byen er kæmpe stor og har mange områder, men Beverly området er et af de pænere områder og Hollywood Boulevard og Sunset Boulevard ligger ca 10 min i bil op af sidegaden. Hotellet kan helt klart anbefales og er et hotel vi godt kunne vende tilbage til hvis vi igen skulle komme forbi LA.

"Perfect for Engagement Night Away"
Hotel and accommodations were a little more that I usually spend, but for a special occasion (engagement), it was the perfect setting. The staff was very helpful and after we told the front desk we just got engaged, the hostess upgraded us to a junior suite. "I LOVE THIS PLACE!!"
This is a great hotel in a fantastic location. Close to the promenade for a walk above the beach. Close to Montana for good shopping and coffee. Close to Core Fusion across the street for exercise. The staff is amazing too. I wish I could live here.

Was not pleased with this hotel at all. The room was very small with 2 queen beds. Probably would have been better with 1 king. One of the beds was so close to the closet it was difficult to use the closet. The full length mirror was on the closet door which was useless as the bed was in front of it. There were no drawers to put clothes in, so you have […] to live out of your suitcase, We were supposed to get a free USA today each day, but only got 2 out of 3. If you choose to stay at this hotel, request a room far away from the elevators as, they are very loud (and slow). It sounded as if people were rollerskating on the other side of the wall. Very helpful & friendly staff. Beautiful (and clean) room and "hip" atmosphere. Walking distance to amenities. Ocean view was decent ( but not spectacular), but did not matter. We loved the Huntley!

"The Huntley in Santa Monica- Not for sleeping"
The hotel room itself was very nice and the bed comfortable; the bathroom was very modern and had a great view. The dining room/bar was very upscale and offered nice sunset views. The lobby was small (low-ceilinged) and not as impressive as I might have hoped for the rate of the room. However, the main issue was that there was a party going on in the […] rooftop bar/dining room on Floor 18, until 2:00 am and we could not sleep until it ended. We thought about asking to move rooms but packing up at 1:00 am was not ideal. When we mentioned it upon check-out, they said politely "Sorry, it was a busy night." "The Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica CA."
We were attending a wedding at the Fairmont hotel in Santa Monica so the Huntley was very convenient. In retrospect however, I wish I had spent the etra money and stayed at the Fairmont. The room, and specifically the bathroom, was very small; the corridors were so dark as to be hazardous and my biggest complaint, as petty as it may sound, was the bed […] frame. It was a wooden frame and protruded at least 3 inches beyond the mattress. The comforter on the bed was covering the frame so I smashed my shin on the corner of the frame two separate times. Very painful!! The one positive thing I can say about the hotel is that the mattress and pillows were very comfortable and I slept very soundly. Læs mere
"The Huntley is a Santa Monica Gem"
if you find yourself in LA do yourself a favor and head out to Santa Monica for a night at the Huntley. It's ideally located close to the Promenade, Beach and Montana Ave. There's a great bar scene in the roof top bar and the rooms are clean and spacious. The one issue...why does an upscale hotel like this still charge for WiFI?

"The best hotel in Santa Monica"
Thia hotel is delightful. It literally took our breath away. From the beautiful smell of essential oil candles burning in the lobby to the magnificent 360 degree views of Santa Monica on the top floor bar and restaurant. We wished we could have stayed longer.

This is a great Hotel, which is priced accordingly. It is very well located and is within walking distance to all the sights in the area. The only complaint would be the noise from the lifts that was audible from our room. Would stay again (just a bit further from the lift)

"I LOVE this hotel!!"
This is the second year in a row my husband and I have stayed at the Huntley for our anniversary. The staff is wonderful, extremely friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was awesome with a breathtaking view of the ocean!! I'll be back next year!!

"Great Hotel!"
Great overall hotel, Get the view room and be sure to eat at the restaurant!
This hotel was very quiet, comfortable and overall wonderful. The bedding was comfortable. The room was large. We had a wonderful stay at the Huntley and would recommend it to all families. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was delicious for all ages. My girls and I were very impressed.

The hotel was in a great location. The room was very clean and comfortable and the majority of the staff were very nice and helpful. I don't think it was worth the price we paid. I also don't believe that guests should have to pay an extra $10 for wifi.

Our room was great, although I would have preferred a bath tube as opposed to just a shower. This is a very noisy hotel. The restaurant is on the rooftop and therefore lots of non-guests going up and down the elavators. The walls are thin so we could hear other rooms, elevators all night. Nice boutique-style hotel with quality finishes. We had a huge room with views to Pacific Ocean. Very well maintained (or maybe recently renovated) with good beds, bathroom and all round comfort. Nice Hotel Walking Distance to 3rd Street Promenade and Santa Monica Pier. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Noisy air conditioner/heater and thin walls.

When I complained at check-out, I was told that next time I should ask for it for free (I had, but they had refused). Arrived for six day stay & stayed twelve days. The joke was "you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave." Bed was very comfortable. Staff was sincerely friendly & helpful everyday. "Southern California Comfort"
The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The rooms are large and comfortable and the bathrooms are stocked with all the toiletrees you need. The restaurant on the top floor has amazing views and good food. The bar scene is very popular, but it is loud and the crowd on the older side.

"Not recommended"
My husband and I were trying to have a long overdue getaway. Very disappointed we did not get the room we reserved. Instead, we got one overlooking a roof. Then the restaurant was closed for a private party the entire day and night,which of course is simply business, but disappointing. Went to bed, but another party was going on, which seemed like it […] was outside our window on the 6th floor. The party went on until about midnight. "Great location, but not the best rooms"
Great location in Santa Monica. However, the rooms are small and the walls too thin. I heard the people in the rooms on both sides of my room. That is my biggest pet peeve at a hotel. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and the hotel services fine.

The Huntley is well located to allow guests to take advantage of everything on offer in Santa Monica. It is only one block from the 3rd Street Promenade which the hub to much of the shopping and dining locations in the area. The hotel itself has a great restaurant on the top floor and is a terrific place to enjoy a couple of drinks whilst watching the […] sun go down over the Pacific. Unfortunately, this attracts a lot of visitors to the hotel and so access to the lifts can be a bit of a premium at peak times. Hotel staff were all very helpful and professional and provided useful information on things to do in and around LA. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a view to the beach and across the district. All in all it was a great choice to stay there for the six nights.
