"Hotel Travel Lodge"
Ok Hotel vi boede der kun 1 nat da vi skulle videre til Yosemite, dårligt kvarter og mærkelige mennesker på Hotellet, morgenmaden var ok.
"acceptabel overnatning"
Motellet ligger i en meget kedelig by, men det er en fint overnatningsmulighed, hvis man er på ve til Yosemite eller den anden vej. Morgenmaden er så kedelig at den er ligegyldig.

This motel was convenient to the area of the activity we attended. The bed was one of the most comfortable motel beds I have ever slept in. The room was very clean.

this is a convenient location. the staff and facilities are pretty good, but nothing to brag about. they do offer wireless internet, but depending on the distance from your room to the hub, your service may not be reliable, which was needed in my case. i would stay here again. but i believe that the management may put discounted website users (such […] as hotels.com) into the older, not refurbished, rooms....... "It was uuuhhh!!!!"
The only thing I could say was great were the waffles :)) but the beds were a small queen and matress was hard also if they upgraded to new tv's it would make it way better. I had a problem with the Tv and had to wait for the guy to go to another room to swap it...( Super dislike ) another dislike was that I asked for extra towels and he only gave me […] 2 and I asked for 4 and the guy said no :P I dont think it would of hurt him to give us 2 more... Also had a big proble with the shower the water in the tub wasn't draining fast enough and my feet were soaked with dirty water. Yuk super dislike!!!! Læs mere

"The Travellodge - Bakersfield"
The hotel wing that I was put into was poorly maintained. Shower handle was broken, entry tile is missing, floor was not clean and lighting in room worked off and on. Neighborhood was low class and transients were arround the property. Security was poor at Best.

To close to the Freeway. I had to leave the TV on the drown out the noise from the freeway. No elevator really didn't help. Had to carry luggage up stairs. Other than that, my stay was alright.

"good accomodations good price"
this isnt the nicest hotel ever, but its a great value, good central location, and everything you need. some of the rooms come with a great balcony. beds are comfy and pills are new. will stay again.
This was a great little get away for my boyfriend and I, before he was deployed. Clean room, his favorite resturant Logans 1min away and right off the free way. It wa easy to find. The only thing I would change would be marking the room numbers on the outside. oh and the loud "love making" couple next door to us. haha that wasn't the hotel's fault. "Big Bang for your Buck"
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this stay was. My room was VERY large and somewhat secluded, so it was very quiet. It was older, and the beds aren't the softest, but it was very clean. We had our own private balcony, which was an unexpected plus. We requested a refrigerator and microwave through Hotel.com, which was free.:) I needed to wash my […] son's soccer uniform to use the next day, and the front desk clerk gave me laundry detergent on the house when I required where I could buy some. The breakfast was a little light....only waffles, cereal, and danishes. I was hoping for some protein. The woman a manager gave me a hassle hey bro getting a nice room my second time here she tried to put me in a smoking room with no refrigerator or microwave I told her I stayed westmont years I got treated better with a male managers after complaining threatening to call hotels com she accommodated barneys like a non smoking rooms irish frigerators […] in a microwave I stayed here 5 time in less than a month I'm relocating in bakersfield and buying a house Læs mere
"you get what you pay for"
pros: cheap. right off the freeway. cons: poor maintenance. read a review that the ice machine did not work. ICE MACHINE STILL DOES NOT WORK. further research indicated that this has been broken since july 2011. room smelled funky
"Booking sight unseen"
The staff very friendly. Upon parking, noted many people walking through parking lot looking car windows. The room is marginal but my concern over whether vehicle was going to be vandalized over road my decision to leave. Once again the staff was. Dry accommodating and willing to watch it but I politely moved on.

The room next to us was non stop people coming and going all nite long. Not to mention the loud sex noise. It was like a prostitute had rented that room and she was turning tricks there. Front desk person just no personality. Like he hated his job and it showed.

Without writing a big long laundry list... let's just say it was grungy. Missing tiles in entry foyer, filthy floors, nasty bed... bad experience. I would have gone some place else if it wasn't already late at night when I checked in. I can't believe this place got ANY good reviews...

"Nasty"
Place is gross...and I had to switch rooms at 1130 pm because the people in the room next to me were having a party. The parking here is absolutely horrible too....I'd recommend spending the extra 10 bucks to stay at a nicer place...

This hotel was great for a short one night stay and included a nice small breakfast. I would stay here again for a road trip.

"Travellers beware"
Bad hotel in a bad neighborhood. Street noise, no radio, broken lamp, maid service appeared to be on request only. Day time desk attendant hassled us for taking a little coffee creamer and ice from the lobby - she was very rude. Ice machine in our building out of service. I won't be staying here again.

My husband and I needed an overnight accommodation during a long trip from CA to AZ. The price was right and the room was clean and comfortable! We would stop there again.
"NON SMOKING ROOM SMELLED LIKE SMOKE"
Their non-smoking room smelled like smoke. I asked the front desk person if he can transfer us to another room but he said he can't because we already used a towel (which we used to wash our hands). He said we were already in the room for 30mins (which was not true, we were in the room for 5 mins, then we went downstairs and sat in the freezing lobby […] while my husband went to the front desk to complain). "Bakersfield Motel"
Not enough parking for all the cars. Big negative; breakfast would have been very minimal if we had been able to eat there. Staff not at all intereted in getting it out at time stated. When asked directly one of two staff setting up, he clearly spoke no English; the other a female looked at us and said not one word. I would have appreciated some protein […] such as hard cooked eggs. Diabetics just cannot eat the selections offered without protein. Your management does not seem adequate at this time of day. Ice machine didn't work, which was really inconvenient for us. Room was right next to freeway, so very loud, and hallways were dirty. But it was cheap and a place to sleep, and good continental breakfast.
