My First room had hooks on the wall with no pictures, filthy windows, and some sort of dust on the furniture. I picked up the phone to call the front desk and the phone did not work. Stains on the chair made me think cleanliness is second best. Upon lifting a chair cushion, I found a slice of pepperoni hardened from who knows how long ago. Came back into my room at 3:30 PM to find it still unmade. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable and had two good nights' sleep.
"staying for conference"
This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel for a conference during March. While it was under renovations last year and smelled like carpet glue. It was nice and quiet throughout my stay. I stayed this year during the NCAA time frame and again, it was quiet most all the time. I was even close to poolside and the noise was not annoying.
The hotel was a good value during the Louisville Farm show when prices are high and hard to get a reservation. It was a little ways out from the convention center but other than that a good place to stay.
When we arrived on Thursday there was no hot water in out room. On Friday morning again the water was just barely warm. Other than that the overall stay was good. Loved the location of my room off the court yard.

Stayed here during the North American Livestock show. The room was clean and rates were affordable. After 2nd nite there we came back to a room that had not been cleaned and no fresh towels. Next nite we were awaken by people running up and down halls and slamming room doors! There was a party goin on... lasted from midnight to 3 A.M. "Moldy Oldy"
There was mold on the bathroom wall and shower curtain.. Once a month they have a big social event and there was no parking available. We had to go down the street to an overflow lot.

The Ramada in Louisville was a major disappointment. We called ahead to make sure as a late check in there would be no problem. We arrived at 2:00 am and waited over 20 minutes for a front desk attendant to show up at the front desk.The room was clean, but cold. We turned the heat on high and after our 4 hours of sleep the room was still very cold. […] The water for the shower never warmed up. "Ramada-Louisville-could have been better"
We were put into a king room with a pull out instead of a room with 2 doubles. The pull out had no blankets or sheets and was very uncomfortable. The hallways and elevators were not very clean, but our room was clean, aside from the track on the shower. The fitness room was outdated and there we not enough machines. The hotel is in need of an update. My room had a huge hole in the wall, the carpet was old and smelly, and my sink was stomped up. My cousins room had the room number written in with a sharpie where some paint had peeled off....yes extremely ghetto! I stayed a whole week and leave with great memories of the hotel. My room was perfectly cleaned everyday. Bathroom was tidy. We used the pool three nights and the area around it and inside the pool was great. Comfortable King bed, very very big hotel, I would strongly suggest booking your room closer to the front lobby where the cafe/pool location is.

"It was okay"
I thought I had checked free breakfast as a requirement, so everyone was suprised to find out we did not have a free breakfast waiting. The pool was in need of repairs. The toilet would not flush, and the supposed "queen" size beds are only full size.

My room had old gum stuck to the head bord of the bed. I called and asked to have extra towels sent up to our room and they never came. I went to the lobby to get some only to find a long line with one person to take care of them. We were already running late for a funeral so I had to hunt down a maid and get the towels myself. We were very pleased with our stay, the hotel services and staff were all very pleasant. The location was perfect, since we wanted to be close to east Louisville, and the DQ right across the street was wonderful as well! The only bad thing I can think of was the indoor pool was COLD, and this was one of my main criteria for booking this hotel ("heated […] pool"). This is definately an older hotel that hasn't been updated in a while. The room was clean and comfortable, but everything just felt kind of dated. The bathroom, especially, needed a face-lift. Hotel is not north downtown area but more north of downtown and is probably a 10 minute drive to downtown area. Not a bad hotel if your just going to use it for sleeping. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The bathroom fan didn't work at all and the shower made a very annoying loud sound for the first 3-4 minutes. We were extremely happy with the hotel, except for one little thing on our last day. The suite we had, started getting little tiny ants in the kitchen area. We reported it and they offered us a new room immediately. They also made note to have it taken care of as soon as we were out.

My best friend and i were in town for the National Quartet Convention. The location and surounding areas were great. Our room was comfortable but the bathroom door wouldn't shut, the door to the room was very hard to shut, the light over the sink kept going on and off.

Human crap found next to pool,Had to go to wallgreens for ice,(ice machines out of order)No vending and when spoke to hotel employee he didnt really seem to care.This was hotel from hell.I packed my bags and left after being there for 1 hour

"Ramada KY"
Overall it was big and comfortable, but several things were broken in the room. The buttons to turn on the lamps were broken and there was only one trash can in the whole suite. There was not even a trash can in the bathroom. Women need that.

The hotel bed was one of the most comfortable beds I had ever stayed in at a hotel!!! The convenience of the restaurant/bar was also a plus. The only problem we had were very tiny ants in the room. I have no idea where they came from and other than it being annoying finding one every now and then... our stay was great!

The beds were comfortable, but the entire hotel needed a lot of maintenance and updating, but the rate is reflective of that being relativly cheap. The little cafe was perfect for a quick bite and coffee or latte in the morning. The hotel is very large so its like walking thru a vegas hotel to go from the back to the front of the hotel

We asked for handicap accommodations. The first room we had the toilet overflowed the first night and it took them over an hour to find us a room. We could not have been any further from the elevator. Two handicap people trying to get luggage that far away not good. Remodeling taking place. Seems to be coming along well. Our suite could have used a small dining table and an over-stuffed chair to compliment the rest of the "sitting room" part. Also, there were no plates, glasses, silverware in the cabinetry as advertised with the kitchenette rooms. Overall, the room was very clean and functional for what our family […] needed. The beds were very comfortable. A GREAT PLUS was a lifeguard on duty at the indoor pool! I have never experienced that before. Fantastic idea.
