Econo Lodge Moreno Valley - Moreno Valley

You could tell the front staff was used to dealing w/less than desirable clients. When I ran into an issue w/a wrong name attached to my room they were very unsympathetic to my plight and encouraged me to just re-book with the correct name and get a refund on the room I had prepaid w/hotels.com later. I thought that was a ridiculous solution and we […] were at a standoff until they suggested I call hotels.com direct to see what they say. Hotels.com fixed it right away, w/no help from the Econolodge. 2 of the 3 rooms our family stayed at smelled like smoke, despite being non smoking. In the morning it was usual to smell marijauna being smoke anytime from the parking lot. The hot tub was freezing cold, but the kids were just happy to have a place to swim in the pool. We loved the stores across the street: Dollar Plus, the Sweet Bread and coffee, the clean thrift store, convenience store,pizza and Hispanic Restaraunt. Also a little further down was Ace hardware and a great taco joint open late: Tios Tacos. Overall we were able to keep our vacation very low cost. Staying at Econolodge helped with that.. We weren't too picky (except the fussing teens) we just needed a place to stay at night when we weren't at our family reunion in an adjacent city. The room was to be smoke free it smelt bad like smoke the furnisher need a face lift .The picture on the web is very decieving take that picture off .

Even though the room was clean and comfortable enough. The internet access didn't work and the neighborhood was loud and just too busy with people coming and going at all hours of the day and night.

O.K for the money

This is the second time we've stayed at the Econo Lodge in Moreno Valley. It is not the best place we've stayed in but it's all right if you just need a place to sleep for the night.

room had spiders....my room was found open when I got back at 11:30p

I had an emergency situation where I needed to check in early. I called the hotel ahead of time and asked them before I booked the single king non-smoking for myself if that room would be available at the time I wanted to check in (730am) the receptionist said, "No, none of those rooms would be available." This led me to believe that another kind of […] room would be available. So before I booked I asked if another kind of room would be available. At this point it was established that if I got the two queen non-smoking I could check in by eight. So then I went back to hotels.com and made a reservation for a room with with two queen beds at extra cost (six dollars, but still ) and booked it. Got to the hotel at ten after and the "new" receptionist did not know at all what I was talking about. I was dead tired. I was told the earliest she could do was ten thirty unless, I wanted to pay more. This upset me because I had already paid more. I kept explaining the situation to her and telling her I wasn't going to pay more, at which time she said she could make something happen by 9am. I know this is early in hotel time... Checked in by nine. Planned on staying the whole day and the accommodations listed a refrigerator, so I brought food. The refrigerator in the room was dead as a doornail. Happy to report the fridge was promptly switched out after calling the front desk, on my own phone... The phone in the room did not work. Also when I went into the bathroom there was still some foul looking feces in the toilet that had not been flushed. Aside from that though it was a good stay... I mean, as I said as to be expected. Noisy, no hot water

this was an ok hotel the reason i do not recomed it was because there was people coming in and out of this place all time of the day. the reason i like this place hotel was for the pool for my kids it was full of insects especially bees. the room was very dirty carpets but the people that work there were nice and when askedfor something it waas fast. […] but another thing was the walls are very thing i could hear everthing in the next room and i mean everything stuff that should be kept private not suitable for my children.did like the location it was between all the places i had to go. but would not be coming hear again or recomend others to this place. While the staff was very nice for the most part, that is where the good ended. The fridge did not work, the remote for the TV did not work, no hand towels on check in, the wifi was up and down for 3 days, finally not working the last day of the stay. They did bring us a different remote, but could not turn off the closed captioning, ever. The walls […] are very thin and the neighborhood is less than desirable, lock you cars. Læs mere

The hotel is in a bad neighborhood and it was very noisy all night long. The walls are so thin, you can hear the conversations in the next room, not to mention the drunks wandering the parking lot and talking right outside the room in the middle of the night. The breakfast buffet was awful. On the up-side, the room was very clean and the price was economical. […] Pay a little extra and stay someplace nicer. I will next time. Læs mere

The floors were so disgusting. We stuck to the carpet and had black feet after being barefoot for 5 minutes.

I had actually booked the wrong weekend and did not realize it until I got to the hotel. Front desk clerk saw the date was wrong called hotels.com to change the date and I was able to stay there with out any extra charges. Thanks for all the help between Econo Lodge and Hotels.com, they both went above and beyond to help us get a room on a late Friday […] night. Thanks again. Hotel is being updated, it was comfortable and service was great. Læs mere
