Et enkelt, meget rent og funktionelt hotel med god service i det levende Tribeca med subway til resten af NY lige uden for døren. Perfekt i forhold til prisen

Vi har været yderst tilfreds med ophold på Cosmopolitan. God betjening. God stemning blandt personale. Hjælpsomhed.

Et godt standart hotel i Tribeca med 2 forskellige subwaylinjer (rød og blå) inden for 2 min gåtur. Værelserne er små men havde eget bad og toilet og sengen var ok. Værelset var meget varmt og jeg blev nødt til at sove med vinduet åben - og det var i januar med minusgrader. Så hvis du tager afsted om sommeren så ville jeg vælge et andet hotel. Rigtig fint hotel. små væresler og lille seng, men der var alt vi havde behov for. Hotellet er jo ikke nyt, men det var i en fin stand. Hjælpsomt personale. gratis internet, også med andgang fra hotellets computere. tæt ved ground zero. vi ville dog hellere have boet i nærheden af central park/time squere, men det er også enest grund til et vi nok ikke […] kommer tilbage til dette hotel. vil klart anbefale hotellet til andre. God beliggenhed, venlig og hjælpsom betjening. Fint hvis man blot skal bruge et værelse med seng, bad, tv og internet.

Generelt ok standard i forhold til beliggenheden og prisen. Værelserne er fine, dog med det minus, at der ikke er særlig godt lydisoleret, hvilket betyder, at du oplever NY s larm også når du sover. Deres internet virkede sjældent på værelset - men altid i lobbyen. Personalet er flinke og hjælpsomme. Elevatoren er skræmmende dårlig - hvis I er mere […] end fem personer, er der store chancer for, at den går helt i spasmer. Læs mere

The hotel is placed in a perfect location. Just next to the subway and in walking distance from all the "action". The rooms are very small, but everything you might need during your stay is available. I would stay there again any time!!! Thanx

Hotellet ligger tæt på en masse gode spisesteder i alle prisklasser.

Glimrenede hotel hvis man vil bo på Manhatten. Værelser lidt små og lugter lidt indelukket af aircondition. Men man bor tæt på alt i det sydlige Manhatten og der er metro lige uden for døren.

Der mangler aircon, samt minibar/køleskab og el-kedel på værelserne.

Cosmopolitan Hotel i New York ligger i et godt område med hurtig adgang til mange subway linier. Værelsesstandarden er i orden, pænt og rent. Hotellet kan anbefales.

Excellent location at Lower Manhattan next to subway station. The room has what is needed for a stay in New York City. All staff is nice, friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is fine.

Hotel er meget rent og pænt, og ligeså værelserne. De er dog ikke så store. Sengen er god, dog heller ikke så stor, så hvis man vil have god plads, så sørg for at bestille det. Bareværelset var nydeligt og nyistandsat med badekar - det var luksus. Dog igen heller ikke så stort, men rigeligt til os! Da vi skulle til lufthavnen, havde hotellet transportservice […] til en fast pris (68 dollars). Chaufføren kom i god tid og kørte os godt og sikkert til lufthavnen. Det kan anbefales. Kvarterer er godt og centralt i forhold til metroforbindelser. Der er 200 mtr i gåafstand til Ground Zero. Går man lidt uptown ad West Broadway og bevæger sig rundt i gaderne mellemm West Broadway og Broadway er der gode cafeer, restauranter, shoppingmuligheder. Der kan man bruge maaaange timer og penge. Mht. morgenmad brugte vi fire gange Cosmopolitan Cafe, som ligger i samme bygning som hotellet. Det var godt og til en rimelig pris. Vi vil helt sikkert forsøge at bo der næste gang, vi skal til NY. Vi var ventet og blev rigtigt godt modtaget, værelserne er ikke så store men pæne og meget rene og i orden. Elevatoren er et kapitel for sig, da den er meget langsom og ofte åbner den ikke og man må tage en tur til, men så griner man lidt af det, og det har jo også sin charme. Der bor rigtig mange danskere. Det ville være et stort plus hvis der var […] morgenmad på hotellet. Der er godt nok to cafeer i samme bygning, men der er langt fra plads til alle og man må ud og gå efter noget morgenmad. Men alt i alt et fint lille hotel. Læs mere

Great hotel with excellent rooms & nice cafés. Very close to 2 different subway stations, you can get around Manhattan very easy from this hotel..

Hotel in charming Tribecca, close to good shopping in design areas, nice dining as well as World Trade Center. Smaller rooms, noices from AC and street, but clean and sweet staff. Defenately value for money.

The hotel is very convenient to all Tribeca locations and the metro! I stayed in a loft room; it was kind of fun to walk up the stair ladder to bed loft above. Comfy bed with a down comforter, flat screen tv across from it. The lower level of the room, however, needed some sprucing up - there was a big space by the door which needed to be filled by […] a couch or a big chair or SOMETHING - especially since yet another tv was facing this strange and empty space. The location of this hotel is perfect, close to three subway stops, and numerous restaurants. It is perfect size, but the best, of all is the staff, especially Marcella and Jenny! However, the rest of the staff is top-drawer. There is now a little restaurant that sits on both sides of the hotel., which is ideal for breakfast or a late dinner. Lovely little hotel, fun neighborhood, great staff. Only drawback was the major construction on the street which required changing rooms. Front desk gave me the quietest room ever. Would happily return.

It was a quick subway ride from Penn Station on the #1 subway to the Hotel. The Hotel was very nice and the staff was accommodating to our needs. The rooms are small, but the right size for the best price! I would go back again and also recommend to a my family and friends.

Tribeca has some of the best walking in Manhattan, a real neighborhood feeling, fine restaurants and shopping, and proximity to the Hudson, Battery Park, WTC site, SoHo, and the Village. The hotel is right at the Chambers subway stop with most of the major lines either there or a block or two away. My first time staying in an NYC hotel, The Cosmopolitan is a cozy doorway close to convenience, cafe and Starbucks. The first thing I noticed was how clean the room was, sparkling bathroom and crisp crisp linens. Walking distance to the 9/11 memorial as you grab a coffee from Starbucks right on the corner, then take a good 20 min walk taking in the […] sights on W.Broadway to find great stores to shop. A vibrant bustling neighborhood I felt was central to eveything I needed to be a tourist for if I was walking or taking a taxi. The staff were smiling, attentive and friendly and the foyer was clean and full of information and internet access. I will definately be staying here again.... Læs mere

We booked this room for our son as part of his acting program @ BU he had some meetings etc..in NYC, He told me the staff was outstanding, couldn't have been nicer. The room was small, "not the newest place" but he said it was a great value. He simply raved about the staff.

A good value hotel in a great location. The hotel felt very well run, the staff were excellent, and the room was spotless. We had a loft room, which was fine for us, but as the bed is accessed by a steep staircase, and the ceiling is low, less able people might struggle. The room was very warm - no air con as far as i could see, and having the bed […] up high doesn't help. This was in March, so I suspect that in summer it might be quite uncomfortable. I think we were comfortable in almost every way. The only drawback is that everything is very small. When you sit on the toilet you get a mouthful of towel. Besides that all else is great!

The location was the reason we chose this hotel. When we arrived I was horrified at the tiny room and paper thin walls and door. We could hear the tv in every room walking down the hall. There was no luxury, but the bathroom, while tiny was clean and sufficient. The bed was okay, but the room was very hot and to cool it we had to turn on the VERY NOISY […] air conditioner and keep it on all night. Great access to the subway and the Brooklyn bridge. Læs mere

The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The location was wonderful - 3 subway lines within 2 blocks and within walking distance of good shopping and dining. The room was clean, but small - the bathroom was ridiculously small; we actually had to move in and turn around in front of the toilet to get the door closed and the bathtub would only […] fit folks from the Land of Oz. The hotel only has one elevator (very slow) and it frequently stops and opens between floors (a little scary). That said - I would recommend the hotel - just remember, it's not the Ritz! Læs mere

Great location, easy to get to all must -see sights. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. The staff very friendly and efficient.

With this hotel it is all about being affordable in the area. There is no frills with this hotel. Nice room, decently comfy bed, nice people. The bathroom is very tiny...make a wrong turn and you will fall in the tub! Slightly loud on streets and can be heard in room.

This is a wonderful hotel. Very kind staff and the rooms are clean and of a good size. New York streets are noisy so I could hear some vehicles during the night (well, before falling asleep, of course) but that may be an issue if you have light sleep. New Yorkers told me that that is normal and nothing to blame the hotel for.

Great service, super clean, room was very small but totally nice and elegant. Might get a bit claustrophobic after a few days, but for short stays in Tribeca it's a terrific value.

I stayed in this hotel before and it was a pleasant experience again. Only exception is that this year I went during winter time & no running a/c. The temperature in the room was a little uncomfortable since the window a/c wasn't there when I went the first time. Road construction on Chambers Street is very noisy and windows are NOT sound proof. Definitely […] not ideal when you want to sleep in. Overall though, hotel is super clean, staff is extremely helpful, and I would definitely stay here again ( I'll just request room not facing Chambers Street). Læs mere

Oldest continually operating hotel in NYC, providing some nice photos from prior eras, but not an "historic hotel" in feel, just an older one. Lobby small and simple. Rooms small and simple, but clean and comfortable. A good stay for the price. Staff, particularly bellmen, were friendly and helpful. Great location for visiting Lower Manhattan.

Overall, not a bad place to stay. I've had better and I've had worse. The location was convenient, with the subway being just steps from the front door. There's also a Starbucks in the same building for your caffeine fix. The bad things - none of these were a dealbreaker, but adding them all together made my stay pretty annoying. The first thing is, […] I was staying at the hotel with my elderly mother, who tripped on a step on the way into the lobby. I don't blame the hotel for that, of course, but another guest and I helped her to her feet while the hotel staff just looked on. Upon checking in, the woman at the desk asked if she was okay and stated that she was *going to* help but had to answer the phone. Really? There were two people at the desk with no customers in line. Couldn't one answer the phones while the other at least pretended to help the 70 year old woman sprawled across their lobby? After checking in, we were told that the elevator was broken (to be fixed at an unnamed time later in the day) and our room was on the 4th floor. We could have the bellhop bring up our things which he stated he would do "in a few minutes." My mom, who was still recovering from her fall, was not able to hoof it up 4 flights so she waited in the lobby while I went upstairs. After waiting upstairs for about 30 minutes, I called the front desk who said they would be up "soon." I decided to head downstairs and explore the city instead of waiting. After I got back around midnight, the elevator was fixed, but my luggage was not in my room. I went down to the front desk but he wouldn't just hand me my bags and told me the bellhop would be up "shortly." After about 45 minutes (and another call downstairs) my stuff finally arrived. Yay for toothbrushes and pajamas! And the bellhop got nothing more than a dirty look in exchange for his outstretched hand. Stayed for 3# nights. Rooms are clean & comfy. Great big TV on wall. Bathroom small, but very efficient. Elevator did breakdown but was fixed quickly. Room price very reasonable. Rooms are more than big enough for 2# people. Roll out of bed on to the subway & Starbucks. Also, great little breakfast place next door. Went there because it was our first […] time so didn't want to be searching for breakfast. Nice pancakes. Chinatown / Little Italy is next stop on Subway. Ninja restaurant only a 30 sec. walk away which I didn't realize when I booked the restaurant. Would stay there again for convenience. This is an older hotel but it was very clean, the staff was terrific and it's location makes it extremely convenient to multiple subway stations.

The room was super tiny, wich was alright as we were out enjoying the city. My wife thinks she got bed bug bites, but I think she's crazy, I didn't see any evidence. Elevator is ancient and broke while we were there. Otherwise a great trip.
