Gode værelser / behagelige senge. Vi var ikke generet af det var et kasino-hotel. Gode spise muligheder på stedet til yderst rimelige priser. Vi havde et ophold med morgenmad inkluderert - det var helt fantastisk.Og det lå i rolige omgivelser. Klart at foretrække fremfor hoteller på The Strip. Vi vil helt sikkert bo her igen.

Vi rejste 4 voksne og havde studiosuite og 1-bedroom suite i forbindelse med hinanden med køkkenfaciliteter. Hotellet er stadig velholdt med højt serviceniveau. Vi finder beliggenheden god,i gåafstand til the Strip og gode restauranter samt indkøb. Hotellet har gratis shuttlebus til Cesar. Godstog passerer, så bed om værelse højt i bygningen og væk fra toget.

Vi bestilte værelse med Continental Breakfast. På Ceasars Palace består Continental Breakfast af en voucher på 9 USD pr. person pr. nat. Voucheren skal benyttes i en bestemt cafe i Ceasars Palace. Udvalget i cafeen bestod af mange forskellige slags wienerbrød, juice og kaffe. Nogle dage var det muligt at købe frugt og yougurt, hvis det ikke allerede var udsolgt. For 9 USD kan man købe en kaffe og et stykke wienerbrød.

There were really nothing wrong, but as said by many other reviewers as well, this ain't build this century so it can be seen. Otherwise there were nothing to complain really. Pyramid room was spacious enough, it didn't smell (I ask new room, if and when so happens) and everything was working. To walk around Strip, this is not perfectly located as this […] is at south end of the Strip, but whole south Strip is easily accessible from this hotel. "Great room at the luxor"
the last time i stayed in the Luxor was in 95 or 6 when they first opened up. Hotels.com had a great rate and decided to stay again. I got a room on the 28th floor and the room was nice. I don't remember the room i got last time, but this one seemed upgraded. had a nice west view. The main areas, like the elevators and certain parts seemed beat up after […] all these years of so many people in and out. the cool thing is the sideways traveling elevators. I went the pool are to look around and it was clean and spacious. First time i have seen it as the last time it was winter time. i did not go to any of the restaurants inside. My past experience was with the buffet and it was not good. have never ate there since. Overall it was a nice place. i usually go again in the summer and this time it will definately be one the list of possible places to stay. Læs mere
"Very Average but Great price"
The room was very average and had an odor to it that smelled like smoke. Elevators were creaky and shaky. If you are going for just a night and need a reasonable place to stay this is the one. Overall not too bad.

"My Military Reunion Weekend"
I really loved this hotel, it was extremely large and beautiful, the only complaint that I have is there was no microwave and they charge you $25 for a mini fridge, I felt tat for the cost of the hotel they should be in the rooms, we had a great time.
"Air conditioning in rooms doesn't work"
Enjoyed the casino - restaurants were great - Carrot Top show was awesome! But air conditioning in room couldn't keep up and we were there in April, can't imagine what the room would be like in the summer.
It's getting old and it shows. I think they could do a lot more with the Egyptian theme, being inside a pyramid should be cooler than it was.

We enjoyed the Luxor. It was easy to find our way around on the ground floor, unlike many of the large casinos/hotels. The check-in process was quick and we were able to check-in early - which was a bonus for us. The elevators was extraordinary in that they move at an angle not up and down. Pretty cool. We checked in and originally received a room on the 20th floor of the pyramid. I probably should have read the reviews before but there is only elevator from on each floor and you must walk around the entire pyramid in some cases to get to your room. Of course we received a room at the farthest point from the elevator (I think because we booked a discounted […] room though hotels.com) The room was very hot as the AC was not working. We called the front desk and they sent someone up to look at and service the AC. It cooled slightly more but after sweating through the night we requested a new room. "Not the best, not the worst"
Luxor typically has lower rates then surrounding properties and I think of it as the "Wal-mart" of the strip resorts. Just a one night trip for us so there wasn't much incentive to go big and blow a bunch on a nicer hotel. Apparently we were given a free "upgrade", we found this out when on checkout morning we tried the jacuzzi tub in the room, it tub-ed […] just fine but didn't jacuzzi (jets were out of service). The front desk told us all of the jacuzzi tubs in the hotel are out of service and then sassed us saying "well you DID get a free upgrade...". They never told us about an upgrade and the room was similar to what I booked, also there is no signage anywhere about the tubs being broken. What were we upgraded to exactly? We asked for a later checkout so we could go use the pool instead and they told us we were out of luck! You get what you pay for and we got a reasonably low rate compared to other properties for the night so...it is what it is. On the plus side you have easy access to Mandalay and the rest of the strip. Fine and for a short stay the hotel is alright too if you want to save some money. Don't forget to ask what is included in your resort fee, otherwise they will skip out on giving you the free drink coupons that you're entitled to and free entry to the night club (which is...okay) and other coupons and privileges. I would say it's average and not a bad deal if you look at your room for what it is, a place to sleep. Læs mere
"Great for young adults,not mature adults"
The hotel was beautiful! The elevators were a bit scary and inconsistent. We got great rates, but there were lots of young adults, drinking and partying (as the young do). If you want to meet young people, party, and have fun, this is a great stop. If you're a bit more reserved, you may like the more up-class hotel-casinos (Bellagio, Aria, Venetian, […] etc.). The onsite restaurants were nice (Mexican, a buffet, another nondescript place that was great for breakfast, and a food court w/ a Nathan's, McDonald's, pizza place and Original Chicken Tender. I did not see any of the shows or exhibits in the hotel (Carrot Top, Titanic, Bodies, Criss Angel. Overall, I had a terrific time, though on my next trip I would stay somewhere else just to get a different perspective. Læs mere

"good times for all"
quick check in ,pleasant staff ,clean comfortable room, better view ,good times for all ,1 negative we bought the room online 4 set a price at check in Luxor charged a extra pool and spa tax . beware
Was surprised I was charged a daily resort fee in addition to the accommodations fees already paid to Hotels.com. Was also suprised there was not wireless internet in the room or area - had to connect via wired service,

The hotel was really great for the money. Great bar, shows, and casino. The very annoying thing about the hotel is the crazy amount of people who look and appear like they work for the hotel, but really are just trying to sell timeshares. We could not walk anywhere in the hotel without being hasseled by them. The maid service was terrible. We checked […] in at 3 on wednesday and noticed the room next door had a tray of tea and a banana peel. "The hotel lobby stinks of cigarette smoke"
Considering the stink of cigarette throughout the hotel and the noisy drunks in the corridors, I would never go stay in this hotel ever again!! There are many other better choices on the strip.

There were stains on the sheets in the first room they put me in. I moved to another and there were cigarette burns on the bedspread and more stains. I slept in my cloths. I wanted out of there so bad I left for the airport four house early. This place isn't dirty its run down and old. Excellent stay
"Can you knock?"
The maid walked into our room twice with out knocking. Onec while sleeping and once while getting dressed. Complained at check out, was giving a comp for a meal. The room itself was not all that clean, found things that were not suppose to be there. Will not stay there again even at a cheap price.
"Not as good as I thought"
I expected Luxor to be a much better stay, while the location on the strip was good, the hotel experience was not. The staff was unfriendly, room service was costly and took almost an hour and a half just for a sandwich. I also found a piece of chewed gum on the floor next to my bed. Hotel is superb, and most unusual (pyramid), and lobby, casino, bars and restaurants are top-notch. Room was clean and nice, but not luxurious.

"Luxor Hotel Nightmare"
April 2012 We had an terrible stay in the Luxor Hotel, we stayed with 4 persons in 4 rooms, cockroaches everywhere in bathrooms and bedrooms, we stayed 1 week in the hotel and the beds had no fresh linnes in that week. The internet connection was not working however we had to pay 15$ a day for this. We stayed on the 2nd and 3th floor, the rooms on the […] 2nd floor where ment for handicapped people and the view to a concrete wall or cooling machines in front of your wiindow. The rooms should be refurbished already 6 years ago! The noise at night was so loud that you could hardly sleep, Rooms where situated above the rear entrance, fighting and drunk people almost every night and no security. Læs mere

Dissaponited... our room was booked way to far from the elevators and when asked to move they said to call the next morning. Our room was old and killed a few roaches on the table. The a/c didn't cool the room good very low air flow even on high... not staying here next time.

Kinda a letdown. The elevator vibrated more than the roller coaster @ NYNY! It truly was a scary ride up elevator 4B. My room 14014 had spider webs in the windows, peeling wall paper, no control knobs on the HVAC unit (that was set to coldest) woke up in the middle of the night freezing! The staff did bring me 2 blankets @ 130am very quickly, that was […] nice. The fan in the bathroom was very loud and annoying. Overall, the property is just starting to show it's age some. Læs mere

"Luxor needs updating"
Employees were very friendly and helpful. Room was pretty tired, both A/C's didnt work when i arrived and i had to wait 3 hours for someone to come fix them. No wireless internet, did have wired internet but not in a convenient location. Elevators were noisy, some of the cal buttons on the floors didint work.
