Pool was heated which was great. The servers and bartenders knew our preferences as well a our names by the second day. I've stayed at a bunch of hotels. But after this stay I will only stay at a hilton! Great job, see you soon!

Upon our arrival did not expect pay $16 parking and one desk clerk was not enough, took too long to check in. The hallway to our room smelled of weed which lingered to our room several times a day. The Irvine Hilton is in a good location for doing business in Orange County and very convienient to JW Airport.

We had a delightful stay - and Mary at reception was especially wonderful to our dog Molson. A wonderful and relaxing end to our "road trip" across the States !

The Hotel was very nice. They provide free shuttles to the airport, restaurants, the mall and other attractions. If you like Prime Rib, you ought to try Gulliver's. It is within walking distance from the Hilton or you can take a shuttle. I liked the food and waitstaff at the Hilton, however, my only complaint is that they don't include the breakfast […] buffet and/or the continental breakfast as complimentary with your room stay. They charge pretty high amounts and don't really let you eat all you want. They limit the trips to the buffet/continental breakfast. i wished that the rooms had a small fridge and small microwave, but at least the coffee/tea packs were free. Læs mere

Unfortunately I was a little disappointed with the Hilton as the cleanliness of my room was way below satisfactory. However the staff were nice and the hotel itself is tailored for conventions. I wouldn't stay here for more than an overnight stop.

Let me start by saying that the back of house staff at this hotel was superb. The Bar/Breakfast staff & Cleaning staff were all top notch. My issue has to do with the front desk staff and their lack of ability to solve problems. My problem; through either hotels.com or this Hilton I was double booked. I did receive a cancellation verification from […] from hotels.com so I really feel that Hilton dropped the ball. This booking issue lead to me being double charged on my card for room expenses & a great deal of confusion that I had to resolve by contacting hotels.com & Capitol One. But the worst part of my stay had to be the way that the front deck would lock me out of my room when ever they wanted to talk to me. They could have just called me on my cell phone but instead they would lock me out. When I have been on a plane for 9 hrs the last thing I want is a hassle from the front desk staff. I do not recomend this hotel. I stayed overnight for a wedding that was being held at the Hilton. I was told by the valet that overnight parking for the wedding would be 5 dollars. then next morning I had to pay $21 just to get my truck because they refused to acknowledge that I was there for a wedding. When I first got into the room I called the front […] desk to ask for a new room because my air conditioner we obnoxiously loud. They said they would call me back, and never did. I called back 30 minutes later and they said they would call back, they didn't. When I was preparing for the wedding the sink started to bubble up black back wash. My new husband and I didn't get much of a 'honeymoon' because my in-laws were in town and refused to let us go. We stayed for just one night but enjoyed it very much. It was very close to my home and the airport, We were upgraded to a different level when we expressed our reason for staying. Stayed here for a weekend and was very pleased. Close to all location: airport, South Coast Plaza, 24hr Fitness - can't complain.

This hotel was your average Hilton - clean, well-appointed rooms, but nothing too spectacular. The location, however, was great. Directly across the street from the John Wayne Airport, 5 minutes from the Orange County Fairgrounds, 10 minutes from Newport Beach, super close to South Coast Plaza. I would definitely stay here again.

Good clean hotel very close to John Wayne airport. There was some jet noise

The best experience of this Hilton was the staff. The location was nothing grand to speak of but the staff and the lounge staff were extra friendly, professional and helpful. Just like my fellow reviewers, I will also complain about the parking fee. There should be no parking fee! I complained to the front desk put it fell on deaf ears. I also ended […] up being charged an almost equivilant fee to access the internet when the majority of the local hotels do not charge for the internet. My stay was nice but this really left me disappointed in the Hilton. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 1 night while attending a friend's wedding nearby. We were very impressed with the amenities and quality of the hotel for the price (we paid less than $85). The room was very spacious and clean and we were able to get a room at the end of the corridor, away from the elevators and the other large suites. Parking was […] easy and the bar/restaurant was open very early and late. The one thing keeping us from rating this a 5, is that we asked for a fridge in our room. I called a day before checking in to confirm and informed that this was the case. Upon arriving I confirmed with the desk clerk again and told yes, there was one in our room. It was important to us since we were carrying medication that needs refridgeration. When we got to the room, we discovered, there was no fridge. We were already running late for the wedding (which was on a boat and we didn't want to miss the launch) so we decided to just put the medication in the ice bucket with ice near the AC. We got back so late that we opted for sleep instead of taking our things back down to the lobby and asking for another room. We figured it's just for one night and we would be home the next day. Very very nice.......I would stay there again and again but the parking is horrible.

Room to small and everything you have to pay for. Parking $16.00 a day and $21.00 valet service. Internet is $7.95 a day and $12.95 for two days. The Radisson room is much better with park in internet included, and one minute for the Hilton. For the cost I would not recommend this hotel even at half cost period. I will never stay at a Hilton again.

The stay was fine...as expected but having to pay so much for parking is not ideal since it wasn't a downtown location. Parking should have been complimentary. The rooms were small.

We have stayed here a bunch of times. It's consistently excellent, price is great, location is close to the beaches, and we keep coming back. We even caught a late dinner in the lounge this time and it was excellent.

The hotel is conveniently locate in a business area across the street from John Wayne Airport and immediately off Highway 405 which links to 55 and 5. It's close to Irvine Spectrum and Southcoast Mall. Even though it's located right across the street from the airport, surprisingly there's no airplane noise. There are many older adults staying at this […] hotel and many were shocked to see that I brought my dog (malti-poo). I assumed that they were not aware this is a dog-friendly hotel. The one time fee for pet clean-up is $50 and I think it's affordable vs. other hotels that charges per night. Although I had a pleasant 2-night stay at the Hilton, there were several things I did not expect especially for the hotel being a Hilton. There is a fee of $16/night for guest parking, internet, and breakfast. The toilet flush is strong and loud that you can hear from the other room. Partly, because the walls are thin. Overall, I've received better services staying at other hotels than at the Hilton. I guess I expected that since it's the Hilton that their hotel would be exceptional. After this experience, I prefer the Marriott suites over Hilton. Læs mere

bath unsafe, breakfast too pricey, parking expensive

What a disapointment. The hotel, is fine, I guess, clean basically, but we expected so much more for a "Hilton." cheap, old fashioned tvs, no free coffee or fruit and pastries in the morning, the hot tub was COLD (not good), parking was EXTRA and it just had the feel of a Holiday Inn or a La Quinta along the highway. Maybe I expected too much.

Unless you are flying out of Orange County Airport and need a hotel that is right across the street, I'd pick someplace else. It is o.k., but only o.k. There are less expensive places that are near the airport and don't overcharge their hotel guests for parking. The park and fly special is only $12 per 24-hour period, however they have the nerve to […] charge their own hotel guests $16 a night to park. ll guests should pay the same parking fee. Læs mere

The room did not have a flat screen tv and for a hilton I thought they would. I had to pay 16 dollars for parking every night but they didn't have anyone at the exit to enforce to fee so i could've just said I didn't have a car to save myself 32 dollars! Overall it just didn't meet my expectations as a hilton hotel

This hotel is always a pleasure to stay at. Prompt check in & out. Room clean & fresh looking.. Pricey, but the convenience for the in hotel convention I attended makes up the difference. Meals , especially Sunday buffet although pricey, has a very good variety and the waiters are just attentive enough. I will stay again .

Beautiful entrance into hotel. short distance to John Wayne airport. staff was very nice and answered every question I had. Room was very bright and clean. overall a good experience at this hotel. Excellent bartender (Luis)..
