Great Location! walking distance to fabulous shopping and food. If you want a nice safe place with great parking, this is the place for you. There is a garage to park in underground as well as surface parking.

Customer service was amazing. We were very impressed with their attention to detail. Upon checking in it was mentioned that we were there for our anniversary. That night a bottle of sparkling white grape juice was sent up to our room with a note wishing us a great vacation. The conntinental breaksfast had a great variety of foods and again the service […] was wonderful. We did happen to have a little mishap with our toliet, however within minutes of our calling the front desk someone was there to fix the problem and housekeeping arrived a short time later to clean the deliver additional towels. We can't say enough of the staff. We would recommend staying at the Residence Inn and can't wait for our next visit! Læs mere

There really isn't enough parking at this hotel if it is full. One night we had to park on the street. Also, the breakfast room can be very crowded and plan on waiting if you want a Belgian waffle.

Our night at the Residence Inn in Salt Lake City was very good, the Hotel is very clean, in a good site, room for a studio was a good size, complete kitchen, the only problem that we found is the sink in the bathroom looks like it was designed for children, very low and small. Breakfast as usual the Residence Inn, provide complete buffet breakfast, […] with everything, from fruits, cereals, hot eggs and potatoes, wafles, all kind of drinks, coffee, teas, juices, no other hotel serve breakfast like Residence Inn. New beds needed. The pillows and bedding along with older fan air system makes for a bad nights sleep. The properties themselves are beautiful. The breakfast was good. Reserved room online and had to wait 15 minutes to get Checked in because of waiting for reservation to come in, not good??? We stayed 2 separate nights. July 3rd with no problems, and July 6th with a LOT of problems. On the July 6th stay, we got into our room at around 4:30 P.M. There was so much noise in the room above us, it sounded like a construction and or demolition crew was up there working. This was still going on constantly at 10:30 P.M. when I called the front […] desk to ask if there was construction going on in the room above us (we were in room 110). The lady that answered said she would check into it. An hour later--now 11:30P.M., it had gotten LOUDER. I called again and was told there was NOBODY in the room above us and the second person I called said she was going to go up there herself and find out what was going on. I waited 30 minutes-now it's 12:00 midnight and STILL the noise continued. I got dressed and went to the front desk to see if I could get someone to come to our room and hear the banging and pounding for themselves. I was told that they found out the room had people in it that were moving to another room and that was the noise we were hearing. I asked how that could be true considering the noise had gone on FOR 4 HOURS? Then another girl said maybe it was a ghost as she smirked at me like it was funny. I told her I did not think it was something that should be made fun of and the other girl said she thought it should stop soon.. Again I reminded them that this had gone on for 4 hours. My daughter and I stayed here for a wedding/reception event. She had the bed and I had the roll our sofa bed. All went well. The roll out bed is...well, a roll out bed. Less comfortable but OK.

We were thrilled with how close the hotel was to all the places we needed to go. The room was clean and well appointed and the breakfast buffet was very nice. We will stay here again!!

Our usual place of stay - doing some Christmas shopping and activities. The suite we had was in the "L" building and smaller than the usual suite. It was still very spacious and comfortable for a family of four such as ours. One minor complaint, odor emitting from the disposal in the kitchen but the free breakfast made up for it. Located in the Downtown area of Salt Lake City and walking distance of the Energy Solutions Arena, this is a nice place for a small family. We had the suite with separate bedroom and kitchenette area; we attended Ringling Brothers Circus at the Energy Solutions. Clean, free full breakfast, and a great value.

I had queried for a pet-friendly hotel and this hotel came up. I did not see anywhere in the hotel's write-up that there is a pricey, non-refundable pet charge, but there is. So, be aware of this when booking this hotel.

I was extremely pleased with my stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott. The staff were exceptional - especially the front desk assistant. She bent over backwards to help me resolve a room scheduling problem. The room was terrific as was the evening snack (more like a meal). Hotel is loctaed in walking distance of many great places to eat, desk clerk had map and suggestions. Rooms appeared clean but found snack food and old sock in bedroom and could not avoid mildew smell in bathroom. Previous stays did not have these problems

The location could not have been better, within walking distance to several great local restaurants, also very convenenient to downtown and the convention center. Me and my family, husband and two children (age 1 and 4) stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with my parents. This was a great suite, lots of space and we could spend time together and then have our own bedrooms when the night came. Our son was using the sofa bed in the room in between the bedrooms.
