Godt og rart hotel. Ingen særlig luksus og lidt afsides beliggenhed. Til gengæld pænt og rent, god service, samt gratis wi-fi på hotellet. Tog fra lufthavnen går lige til døren - bogstaveligt talt. Meget fine sporvognsforbindelser til centrum, men absolut også overkommelig gåafstand.

Små (rene) værelser og begrænset morgenmad, men opvejes af super beliggenhed og god service!

Hotellet er af ældre dato, men er i fin stand med hyggelige mere moderne værelser. Værelserne er ikke de største, men der er hvad man har brug for. Personalet er rigtig søde og vil gerne hjælpe med både det ene og det andet. Hotellet ligger super centralt med sporvognen kørende lige ude på vejen (Dette kan høres når de bimler og bamler med klokken, men ikke noget der der irriterer, mere som en hyggelig lyd à la "nu kommer sporvognen igen".) Hotellet ligger super centralt, lige ved Union Square. I området ligger der mange små caféer, dinere, butikker osv og 300 meter nede af gaden ligger der en metro station (en Bart) hvor man kan tage toget til yderområderne. På samme sted er der et hav af busser som kører alle steder hen i byen. To af SF´s tre sporvogne har også endestation lige nede af gaden. Alt i alt et rigtig dejligt hotel. Vi var i SF et par dage inden vi rejste videre syd på. Hotellet var helt ideelt. Både pga at det var hyggeligt, med i høj grad også pga beliggenheden. Det var nemt at komme ud at spise, nemt at komme i butikker og shoppe og nemt at komme til både tog, busser og sporvogn. Helt klart et hotel vi vil anbefale og et vi gerne ville bo på igen hvis vi skulle tilbage til SF.

"Perfect for a night or two for business"
The internet was free and strong. The bed was very comfortable, in fact I want to call them and ask the brand. The room had a fridge and microwave. It was right off freeway, but still quiet. Neighborhood overall not the greatest, but convenient to many places I needed to go. They let me have a late checkout. Breakfast was all the way to 10.

"great locale for visiting the bay area"
Hotel has been remodeled and the rooms are like brand new. Easy access to freeways. Nice cordial breakfast offering. Great Value in an expensive area. Located in a small working class neighborhood bordered by a light industrial area below the 80 freeway. No problems! Will definitely use as a regular place to stay!

Considering the price, I was expecting a pretty run down place but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel room was clean, came with all the amenities including a refrigerator and microwave, and also a couch which was pretty random but a nice addition. "Modern and comfortable for price"
The hotel is close driving distance to grocery stores and restaurants and was convenient proximity to BART. Hotel staff was friendly. We had a small problem with the heater/AC unit in our room but were promptly moved to a new room. Overall, very satisfied!

This place has recently been redone and was extremely clean and comfortable. Close to the freeway and the BART. It offered a breakast (continental) which was great. This was a pleasant surprise.

"Check the neighborhood out BEFORE you reserve!"
When I checked in, the front desk clerk was friendly and helpful but the next morning, a different clerk was there and neither very friendly nor very helpful. No smile or nothing. The neighborhood didn't feel as safe as it should have so that's why I say check it out BEFORE.

Got there late but everything was nice. only complaint I can come up with is the bed was a little hard for me, but my wife loved it.

This was a very comfortable room with a firm, comfy bed, a couch (never had that before), coffee maker, microwave, iron, large-ish TV, and free Wi-Fi (which I did not use so I don't know how good/fast it is). The staff was friendly and despite the location next to a major Interstate, the room must have had excellent soundproofing. Enjoyed the convenience of the motel to where we needed to be. It was clean and the housekeepers were very accommodating to our needs. The free internet in every room was perfect for our needs. Thanks!

Male clerk at the front desk was not friendly he was rude and unprofessional. Inside of hotel was dirty specially carpet and floors. We greeted him and he just looked at us and said nothing, just continued with what ever he was doing.

"great getaway to SF"
close to BART. close to Berkeley room in good condition. stayed in 313, which had a couch & coffee table, microwave, and fridge. bonus for us since we could keep snacks for an extended stay.

A road motel 20min from SF Downtown. It was a good choice for the price. The worst thing was the breakfast, pretty vague.
"Not so Super..."
My room was on the third floor and the smell that was in the hallway got worse with each day of my stay. It went from 'sour milk' to 'boiled cabbage'. The room was tired and outdated. I would not stay there again nor would I recommend the hotel.

"Manager with a bad attitude!"
The manager had a bad attitude and this spoiled our stay.

Went there to drop my kid at Berkeley. Enjoyed the stay. Solid value for money. The best parts: - excellent free broadband - close to highway + BART - decent healthy break fast - helpful front desk What more do you want at that price?
"A nice spot in the Bay Area"
The hotel was well kept up and in a nice location: close to the BART station, meaning ready access to Berkeley (just south) and Downtown San Francisco (45 minutes on the train). The staff was helpful when needed, and the room was well furnished.

"Terrible customer service"
I frequently have business in the Bay Area and took a chance on this Super 8 due to bookings at other locations. My first (and only) night was interrupted by a dance party in the room directly above me. I asked the manager at the front-desk to move me to another room and he refused. Instead he called the noisy room above me and said, "The guest below […] you is complaining about noise." After another hour of wild pounding and crashing furniture, I again requested the Manager move me to another room. I was shocked that the manager WOULD NOT SPEAK TO ME at this point. Ultimately, after putting up a fuss, he (silently) handed me a room key to a new room. It is stunning to me that a proprietor of a business would treat his guests with such contempt, and to go so far as to stop communicating verbally at all. I will not stay here again. Læs mere
"Great to Work With"
This hotel could be called a "standard hotel', but the exceptional part was the service. We had to change our reservation, and they worked with us! That is a huge thumbs up, and compliments to the staff for their understanding.

"Good value"
Nice and clean room, good space. Table and chairs in room as well. Regular Super 8 standard. The continental breakfast however is very unhealthy, danish, muffins and cereals, however also fruit. Only 10 min. walking to the BART station. The neighborhood was my main concern. El Cerrito is bordering with Richmond, which is not the best neighborhood. It […] did not feel fully safe. We saw a man lying on the street in handcuffs and another lady the next day shouting she'd been arrested twice. We got recommended to watch out in the area and not walk outside after ~11 pm. We had no idea about this before we booked this hotel, but we were careful, emptied the car properly, were not put after sunset, etc. Læs mere
