An terrible experience in this hotel. Bedbugs! I could not sleep during the first whole night. I caught three big bedbugs!

Thinking I was booking near a Convention Centre I thought it was probably used by many I didn't really think twice from the other reviews I had read. Our room was right at the entrance & beside the ice machine. I went to the counter & requested a different room where it would be quieter. I was given another room which was done with no questions and […] professionally which is why the quality of SERVICE was rated a 4. When we went up to our room we noticed the sheer curtains had tears which were closed with heavier curtains on top, the bedskirts were torn as well as the underside of the bedspread. Seeing there wasn't much attention paid to the "hidden"defects I wonder how much attention is really paid to the actual cleanliness of the rest of the room. This is not what I had expected at all. Placed in a very loud neighborhood could not sleep, I ended up checking out at midnight because it was so uncomfortable. My room was right next to an alley where there was constant walking traffic and yelling. There was hair in my sheets, stains on the carpet and ceiling, Bathroom had multiple plumbing issues. The hotel staff was very accommodating. When we checked in our room was ready. However, when we got in the room, we found the pillowtop mattresses had been turned upside down. I told the desk clerk and a maintainance man and the manager came to see the problem. The manager brought us keys to a different room. The room was okay, but had had two of the […] walls and the bathroom door patched. It was a terrible patch job. The bathroom sink faucet worked backwards. The cold side was hot, hot side cold and shut off in the wrong position. The tile floor in the bathroom was almost hot. I don't know if the floor was heated or something was wrong, but it was almost uncomfortable on our feet. The beds were nice. Slept great. Not much for the continental breakfast, coffee, juice, a few pasteries, apples and bananas. No milk, cereal or yogurt. Hotel is not in the best area, but is convenient to the Aquarium and downtown. No frills but walkable on beautiful streets to Convention Center, Performing Arts Center, beach and many great restaurants. Room was big and service was fine. Good shower and comfortable bed. Noisy club across the street on weekend nights. It was a perfect location for us.

The room was just what we were looking for. We were going on a cruise and it was close to the dock and it was clean. It was not the nicest room I have ever stayed in but it was clean and very convenient. I would stay there again in the same circumstance.

If I had one word to describe this place, it's NOISY. My room was adjacent to the parking lot on the first floor, so I had that noise from people chatting there. Then, I was next to the ice machine and had that noise along with the hallway traffic. The worst part was the people above me, and it wasn't really their fault. Close to the habor nice. But there was no frig or mirco, there were no covers on some of the elec socks and some dont work. in the bathroon the sink pluming was exposed.well you get what u pay for.This motel would be the last resort if to go to long beach again. I would spend the extra dollers for a better hotel.

Handles to shower came off in my hand and there was a constant drip!

The only good thing about this motel was that it was close to roscos. The parking was horrible and so was the shower.

This little place is no Ritz. But it was clean enough, the bed was comfortable and clean & the heating/cooling system worked. You get what you pay for. Motel rooms are used for 2 things, sleeping and sex. You get done with either, take a shower and you're out to do something, unless you're a recluse and stay in all the tiime. The location is good for […] most of Long Beachs' attractions, you're close to a lot of good food, (check out Super Mex across the street.) and the people around there are entertaining in themselves, a very non-threatening area. For the price and its pet friendly amenities and general location it's all right. The rooms are eclectic with some startling variation between them. Bear in mind: no coffee maker, no mini-fridge, no ironing board/iron but it does come with a safe. Internet connection is available but a little erratic. We booked this room because it was located very close to the event we were attending, and the price seemed very favorable. However, we should have known something would be disappointing. Maintenance has been deferred too long on some items. Grout in the bathroom was dingy and mold stained. The mattress saw all it's better days long ago. This hotel would be adequete except for their parking policy. When I requested and additional parking pass for my girlfriends car, they tried to charge me $10 a night for having two vehicles. This was not on their website so I had no knowledge of this policy in advance. I refused to pay because it wasn't addressed up front and he eventually agreed to […] drop it. this hotel said it had hbo,iron in room and lots of parking. It did not have any of these things, The restroom was dirty and we did not have enough towels in tne room. I had to park my car across the street in the gas station. i will not be staying at this hotel anymore and will tell other not to stay there.

It's a motel and for what it's supposed to do, it's great. We needed to be close to the cruise ship and we had a nice clean quiet room, a hold you over breakfast and extremely polite "inn-keepers" Left the car there for 7 nights. Would stay again for sure.

First room, I found filthy wet towels and an uncleaned sink/toilet. Changed rooms to find the TV didn't work in #2. Changed rooms again and had to try 4 times to get a key that would open a door to Room #3. The Desk Clerk was very kind, and very patient and eventually got things worked out. Like they say, we got more or less what we paid for: The hotel's staff was very friendly, although the night clerk wasn't able to tell us if we could get late check-out. Well located, but tight parking. At least it is free and free internet. They didn't know many places to eat or go out to so had to use online to find places to get food. Then again, you are only a 10-15 min walk to the Pike or Pine street.

The room was ok, it was cold and the heater did not work. The shower ran out of hot water just as I was finishing so no big deal. A little noisy in the neighborhood but over all adequate for a 2.5 star rating. About a 1/2 mile to the convention center, easy to walk.

Cant complain bout anything other than the wireless not being great inmy room!!

For those seeking economy rates while attending conventions at Long Beach Convention Center, this is a good choice.

This hotel was a value for the money. Ive spent a lot more money on hotel rooms and was a lot less satisfied. The carpet was new in my room, cable TV and free parking. I cant complain because of the affordable price. Close to many attractions. Id stay there again.

This hotel had a great price, and a great location. It was only 1/2 mile from the Long Beach Convention Center and half the price of the other hotels in the area. The staff was friendly - the room was fine. Beds were comfortable - the heater worked great. Walking distance from the convention center, but cleanliness and overall maintenance of the hotel was sub par. The hotel workers during the day seemed to be all about business transactions, but not about friendliness or customer service. This hotel is close to the beach. Rooms are clean, with very good bed and free wifi in the rooms. Really nice for this little price

The stay was okay I just didn't like that the way everything wasn't that clean.

This hotel is located on several public transportation routes which is the reason I chose it. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Since we only stayed the night and left early the next day, it was better than sleeping in a car. You get the picture. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The hotel was well maintained and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Noise disturbances were minimal and didn't interfere with sleep. The breakfast options are very limited but adequate. Compared to many other hotels in the area, this hotel was much more affordable. The employees were helpful and friendly. Overall, I had a great stay.

Value for money

The room reaked with odor. The building was old and outdated. Unsafe and unsanitary. Lastly everything inside the room was from the 70's or 80's. I will NOT BE BACK!

It is literally a block from the beach. I love not having to pay for parking. I stayed on a Thursday night, There was parking and it wasn't load, I really only heard an ambulance once, around 2 am. My stroller ed my 3yr old to the aquarium the next day, its about a mile or less i think. Convenient location to most of attractions. Not many parking spaces. Elevator is tight and lack of air. Poor room insulation, we hear all the noise in hallway. Hotel is outdated. The pictures of rooms and pool look bigger than real ones. Well, you get what you paid for.

while the accomodations were adequate, there was black mold grwing on the ceiling and in the A/C. The carpet was clean and looked relatively new, and the bed was comfortable, but ssmelled very stale. The room was facing a busy street and the noisy bar across the street kept me up until midnight. A couple of things I was not please with: the air conditioning unit did not work well....it did not cool as good as it could have and it was very hot outside and muggy. Also, at check out I was told that I could not get a recept that I did not owe anything, because it was prepaid through the internet site that I booked the reservation.
