Location couldn't have been better, opposite the train station, within a retail park so easy access to restaurants and the cinema. Short walk to centre of town. Lovely hotel and great for a weekend in Southampton

For a no thrills but comfortable stay on a budget then I recommend this hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable and the bar area in the hotel is nice. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We asked for a room away from the lifts and we did not have any problems with noise on a Saturday night. We would definitely stay again.

cheap and good money for value opp the train station

Really good location for the town, close to resteraunts and a really nice resteraunt within the hotel. Close to a cinema and bowling complex, and the hotel is very comfy and had all we needed throughout our stay! Would strongly reccomend it!

Whilst centrally sited to the port of Southampton, the hotel was not well sign posted and driving in along a busy road was not good. The hotel is not directly on the road, but set back in a service complex. If visitors are aware of this there isn't a problem. The staff were welcoming, warm and efficient. Great budget hotel in good location. Receptionist very friendly when we arrived and the breakfast guy was great looking after us. The only problem was the hotel didn't have any hot water when we wanted to get ready to go out, so no shower going out on a special night after 3 hours of shopping! When I complained I was told other guests had also complained […] and she thinks work was being carried out on the het exchangers? I wrote to Ibis complaining but didn't get a reply. For the price and location, my wife and I were very happy, the food was good, the staff were friendly and very helpful. Being Pet friendly was fabulous. The only downside was the fan wasn't working in the bathroom.

Stayed the night before my daughters graduation,ideal location and excellent price.Staff helpful and parking a bargain e ven let us have a space for her father for the day.Would recommend for shopping trip or visiting friends etc.

We requested a travel cot so was no space to move in the room. Feel that maybe we could have been put into a bigger double room with a bit more space for us all, so the little one could walk around more and play.

Lovely hotel, perfectly located, should you wish to catch the ferry to the IOW, or go shopping in Southampton itself. Mcdonalds and TGI's on the doorstep. Shame that car parking is not free when you are staying in the hotel. Overall very good and would recommend it to other people.

This hotel was located just like we expected near the port for walking to a cruise ship. Also very close to the train station ( less than 5 min. walk) for us to go into London for a day. TGIF and McDonalds was just across the road. The big shopping area West Quay and old town was just a short walk from the hotel or from port if just visiting from a […] cruise ship. The hotel provides very good value for money and its conveniently located to the downtown, various stores, etc.

great location and staff. close to train staion, shops and boats staff knew what they were doing and they wanted to help. carpet in room had seen better days though.

+ve: Location, 5 mins walk from station and town centre. Very helpful staff. For a short stay in the city you cant go wrong with the ibis. -ve: a bit noisy at times but perhaps thats because we stayed saturday night and lot of people going out. Bedsheet were not the cleanest so -ve point there but otherwise its a great hotel for the price. Overall […] recommend it. Læs mere

A very convenient hotel for the West Quay shops with parking facilities available on site. The room was clean and there was no noise from other guests.

Pleasantly surprised at how clean and tidy the hotel was, given the low price. Staff were all friendly and very helpful too. The only criticism I could level would be at the hot breakfast buffet which, at the time I ate, consisted of sausages (which were OK), bacon and scrambled egg, both of which had been sitting under heat lamps for long enough to […] dry out completely. perfect budget hotel, nice location, comfortable bed and bathroom, great value

Good clean and quite hotel

very close for cruise ships,petrol station 5 mins down road.hotel clean,staff polite and helpful,also close to a shopping outlet village 2 mins walk..would recommend hotel not noisy.

for an Ibis hotel, i'd say it was decent. The room was small, would have been nicer if it was a little bigger. The Staff were very friendly, and helpful. I needed a cot for the baby, and the hotel provided it without issue. Was impressed overall, and would stay there again if the price was right.

Good Location, Bed was very uncomfortable and hard but room was very clean, in a central location so can hear all the people in the street at night so would not recommend if you are a light sleeper

This hotel is in a great location if you are going on a cruise the next day as it's very near the port. However,the 4 GBP car park charge was a bit of a shock and the first time I've ever been charged for this. The room was clean & quiet but the sockets on the wall were unusable as they were too close to the windowledge and we had to boil the kettle […] on the floor and charge the phone etc there as well. The bathroom was spacious and clean but there was no toliet brush. All in all value for money and it served a purpoes. The staff were very nice and very helpful. Læs mere

Tämä kahden tähden hotelli vastasi mielestäni kolmea tähteä Suomen arvosteluasteikon mukaan. Erittäin miellyttävä ja ystävällinen palvelu. Huone oli riittävän iso ja vaatteiden säilytystilat olivat asialliset. Sijainti lähellä rautatie- ja bussiasemia oli erinomainen.

Bon hôtel, le personnel est assez accueillant et il est très bien situé. Points négatifs : le petit déjeuner est trop cher et le lit un peu trop dur

ヒースローから直にここのホテルに行きましたが、金額からは考えられない程（ロンドンのボテル物価から）快適にすごせました。多分、日本だったら普通なんでしょうが、浴槽もあり、旅の疲れをゆっくり癒す事ができました。イビスはチェーン店ですが、また泊まりたいと思います。

Eine günstige Unterkunft für geringe Ansprüche. Service teilweise mangelhaft (in meinem Zimmer fehlten Handtücher und Vorleger), ansonsten alles soweit OK. Relativ zentral gelegen in der Nähe des Hafens, dazu fastfood (mcdonalds & co) gleich um die Ecke. WLan nur gegen Aufpreis. Wer 1-2 Nächte in SOU einfach und möglichst günstig verbringen muss, ist […] hier gut aufgehoben. Ansonsten, die Anlage befindet sich in einem Care mit weiteren Billig-Hotels diverser Ketten (Etap, Novotel), die Lage ist also die gleiche, hier lohnt sich der Preisvergleich :-). Læs mere
