Hotel itself was nice, the area is a little sketchy for Zurich. Closer to train station is best. Due to area, wouldn't stay again.

We stayed about a week in Crowne Plaza. It's a business-class hotel and the staff were helpful. The restaurant was good. The hotel room could be a tad bigger though and the bathroom could be better equipped - e.g. with a bathtub. The doorless shower cabin caused a wet floor each time, which could be dangerous when one got out of the cabin. The tap extending […] right to the middle of the sink maybe aesthetic but not functional, and made it quite impossible to wash one's face or rinse the mouth without hitting the tap. 10min tram from the train station, and 5 min walking from tram station, the street is very quiet, so is the room, the facilities are good, free gym tickets.

I think this hotel would have been a perfect 3 star hotel in Zurich had it not been for it's bathrooms. I will never stay at this Crowne Plaza again even though the service was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the bed was comfortable. Why? The bathroom doors are transparent. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to put a glass door to the […] bathroom facing the bed. It was an extremely uncomfortable trip for us as a family - one person always had to go out of the room for the other person to use the bathroom. Sure, it's only a silhouette you see, not the clear image, but do you really want to see the silhouette of the person you're traveling with using the toilet? The breakfast is also not included - it's 30 CHF per person which is, needless to say, ridiculous. Zurich is expensive but not that expensive. There is a grocery store a block away across from the tram station which is convenient (and the tram gets you to the main city in 15 minutes) Slow internet is free in room but you can only check emails with that speed. Everythings perfekt! - but why don`t you have vine in the minibar, and why must price on any items in the minibar be so high?????? We and friends we will adwise to use this nice Hotel will bring with us what to drink, why miss this exstra income? Not best situated in Zurich, but fantastic spurwagen no. 2 to Belvue/no.10 to Airport- perfect!!

The hotel's service, comfort and staff are perfect. Location is O.K., you can take a tram and 8 mins later you are in the main railway station and Bahnhofstraße. Would definitely stay there in my next visit to Zürich.

This Hotel was OK but really nothing special. The area is not great and it is a tram ride from downtown. We picked it for the wellness center having just had a long flight from Australia but it's opening hours meant that we never got to use it. Breakfast was outrageously priced even for Switzerland

The quality of this hotel is very high. I enjoy the accommodation at this hotel very much. The rooms are little bit small, but very clean and comfortable. The personnel is always very helpful to explain you everything. The only thing is the neighboorhood of this hotel that it is not very good, and the tram station that is around 10 minutes by foot. […] The centre is almost 45 minutes by foot, but only 10 minutes with the tram. Great hotel, just a little out of town (not many restaurants or bars around), unless you're going to the Letizgrund or Komplex 457.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Zurich to attend a conference held at the hotel. However, it is a short walk to the tram and a ten minute ride right into the heart of the city. Great staff - very helpful. Nice bar in the hotel.

I hate pay per view tv and internet. That's ridiculous!!!

The Crowne Plaza Zurich is a reasonably good hotel. There is nothing serious to complain about but it doesn't really have a wow factor. The hotel is ten minutes tram ride out of town opposite a Citroen dealer and near to the FC Zurich stadium. It's a slightly shabby area - just on the edge of town. We got a good rate for Friday and Saturday night and […] we were given an upgrade to a larger room - which we were grateful for as the room was certainly not large - so the standard room must have been tiny! The breakfast was seriously over-priced. That's normal for Zurich though - a very expensive city to eat in with the strength of the Swiss Franc. The hotel decor is getting a bit tired in places but the staff are very helpful. In summary, this is a perfectly satisfactory and competent hotel for a weekend or for a business trip but there's nothing really to rave about. Læs mere

The hotel is quite good. We have only got one minor problem - the tv suddenly turned on at about 6am in the morning.

Hotel offered great service, pool and fitness centre, free internet access and most of all close to main station by a 10 min tram ride.Room was clean and neat, no dissapointmens.

The Crowne Plaza Zurich hotel was entirely fine. Bit 70's and dark-ish with lots of brass and possibly in need of a face lift in common areas but the room, whilst small-ish, can't be faulted. There is no wi fi unfortunately and limited tv channels. Not a room to spend a lot of time in but it has a super gym and massive pool to enjoy. I arrived early before the check in time, and was told that the room would be ready by 2 pm, so after wondering around the city for 4 hours and arrived back by 2 pm, the room was not even ready. We have to wait for another 1/2 hour before we could rest. After flying long distance, it is not comfortable to be kept waiting before we could rest.

Stayed because of good rate on offer. Good staff apart from maid who decided to throw my nightshirt on the table! Not central but easy access from main station by tram. Did not like the bathroom because it had a frosted glass sliding door which was noisy eg. if you went to bathroom in night it made a real noise closing (automatic), enough to wake someone […] you may be sharing room with. Also not enough privacy in bathroom because of glass door. Overall bathroom very much form over function. Good facilities inc. gym & pool. Food & drink v. expensive but cannot comment on food as didn't eat there. Did get free mineral water though. Also problems with TV. Læs mere

We were terribly lost to find out hotel but overall it was comfort stay. Double room size was a quite small though. Room was very clean and comfort enough. recommandable.

We got a really great rate on this room, and it turned out to be even nicer than we had expected! It is very close to public transportation, so getting around the city from here is quite simple. Would definitely recommend!

Overall the hotel is good. But i am very disappointed and not happy with the shuttle bus arrangement. They stated that there will be a shuttle from airport to hotel every half an hour. Before i leave home, i double checked with them directly by email about the bus schedule, cost and advise them my arrival time and which bus i will probably take, […] they said no problem and no need to made booking in advance because the bus will run every half an hour as scheduel of the day. At last, i waited there one hour and CANNOT see any shuttle bus of hotel. i asked somebody help me to call the hotel. At last, the bus come after i waited there 1.5hour. And i am very unhappy that they didn't offer any compensation even though i complained to their front desk. Læs mere

The hotel is not in the city center which I knew when I booked but the neighborhood around the hotel looked a bit sketchy. I never felt in danger, but I was traveling with just my mother and I kept a close eye on veryone else on the street. If you don't mind a short tram ride followed by a short walk, it is a fine hotel to choose.

We found this hotel very confortable and clean,easy to get there from the Main Train Station.The staff is helpfull and friendly.

Отель довольно далеко от центра Цюриха. На ресепшен сказали, что парковки дешевле, чем в отеле, рядом нет - но в 100 м есть парковка, ровно в 3 раза дешевле. В номере полупрозрачная дверь в ванную технологически закрывается не полностью - она не сломана, просто так задумано; это вызывает определенные неудобства.

Sehr leicht erreichbar, bequeme, kostengünstige Hotelgarage; ausgezeichneteter Wellnessbereich; freundliches Hotelpersonal und guter Anschluß an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Das Crowne Plaza ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für Stadtbesichtigungen in Zürich, da wenige Hundert Meter mehrere Straßenbahnlinien ihre Haltestelle haben. Die Tiefgarage ist geräumig, gut ausgeleuchtet und das Hotel von hier aus sehr bequem zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

Wir hatten ein Superior-Zimmer gebucht und bekamen ein Zimmer im 5. Stock mit einem Bett von 1,40 m Breite. Unsere Reklamation wurde an der Rezeption von einer freundlichen Dame so beschieden: alle Zimmer mit Doppelbetten hätten diese Bettenbreite. Nur Zimmer mit 2 getrennten Betten hätten andere Größen. Aber ein solches sei leider nicht mehr frei. […] Wir glaubten kein Wort und verbrachten eine schlechte Nacht in diesem Zimmer. Dazu trug auch die geräuschvolle Klima-Anlage während der ganzen Nacht bei. Für unseren nächsten Zürich-Besuch suchen wir ein anderes Hotel. Læs mere

Um absurdo ter que pagar por dia o uso da TV. A tarifa parece barata, mas se somar a TV e o cafe da manha, vai ficar igual a varios outros hoteis muito melhor localizados. Se voce esta no centro, tem que ir ate a estacao principal e de la pegar um tram, que ainda assim vai ficar a umas 5 quadras do hotel. Nao tem nada por perto!

Bra service och fräscha rum, enkelt att ta sig in till centrum med kollektivtrafiken. Prisvärt alternativ!

Sehr guter Service. Gute Lage und sehr sauber. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Nous sommes ma femme et moi même descendu dans cet hôtel car il était proche de la comédie musicale Cats. Le personnel de réception ne parle pas bien l'anglais, ni même le français. Impossible de nous dire ou ce trouve la comédie musicale Cats et d'expliquer comment accéder au parking de l’hôtel. Oublié de nous dire si il y avait un petit déjeuner […] ou non et ou cela ce passe. Dans la chambre une machine à café ok c'est super pour ce faire des expresso mais elle ne s'éteint jamais ! et elle se trouve en face du lit... Avec des leds et un grosse lumière rouge indiquant qu'elle est allumée... Solution un gros linge sur la machine sinon c'est DISCO toute la nuit. Les chambres sont très mal insonorisées le matin nous avions l'impression d'avoir les voisins en train de prendre une douche dans notre chambre. En résumé un hôtel extrêmement médiocre. Læs mere
