The front desk guy was a jewel! I was having trouble getting the light on my rental car to turn off. This very nice guy (on duty at 10:30 or 11 pm) came outside and figured out the problem. I would stay here again just based on the employees. Older property but comfortable.

My room was very quiet, so I got to sleep uninterrupted. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very easy to get to. Breakfast was ok, although I didn't like the scrambled eggs. I would consider staying there again.

You don't have to go across the border to get a taste of Mexico. The breakfast here is great because they serve BEANS along with the eggs and bacon!! Ok, that may be more tex-mex, but being from San Antonio, where beans make everything better--it works for me!! The hotel was pretty good, the only thing is it is called a suites hotel and the room was a normal size room, not a suite. The shower was great and it was clean.

"Wrong room and under construction"
This hotel is currently under construction and looks like a work site on at least one floor - no carpet, stained walls, plaster everywhere, etc. My wife and I were given a smoking room even after reserving a non-smoking room and asking the front desk to ensure our room was smoke free prior to occupying. We arrived at 2:00 AM and did not have the energy […] to return to the front desk that night. Upon complaining the next morning, we were told no other rooms were available. We were eventually given a non-smoking room. One of the front desk persons (appeared to be a manager or supervisor) was perturbed at our request to change rooms. some of the rooms were getting remodeled and one of the four rooms we got was already done and it was really nice. the breakfast was great and the up front staff was very helpfull.
Great value for the price. 12 pm checkout is an added bonus. The extra hour is great.

Wow I must say it was the smallest Hotel Room I'd every seen. Motel 6 has bigger rooms and alot cleaner.TV didn't want to work Internet didn't work when I called the front desk he told me my internet is working fine down here at the front desk, it's your computer started asking me about my Ram like he knew what he was talking about. Had a problem with […] check in. they couldn't find my reservation, they went back and said oh our machine was turned off come back in 10 to 15 mins and we'll check again. Front desk Staff was very unprofessional everytime I had to speak to them or ask them for something. The Cook for the Breakfast Buffet was the reason I can give them a 2 Rating cause she was very nice and helpful went above and beyond my expectations. I think the price should be $29.99 for the Quality of the Hotel. The Elevator felt so unsafe on the ride up we used the stairs the rest of the stay. Overall I had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, working to make sure our room had everything we needed. The housekeeping was very accommodating, coming back later regularly if we slept in late. The room was a little small, but the furnishings were comfortable. Some of the bathroom fixtures are in need of repair/updating, […] but they worked fine despite some cosmetic issues. The location is easy and convenient, however it was a little noisy; our room faced Boeing drive and the municipal airport and we regularly listened to helicopters flying overhead, landing, engines revving before take-off, etc. For the cost of the room however it was a good value and a very comfortable stay. "Really A 2.5 Score ....."
EXTREMELY small rooms .... about 2 ft. wider than a king bed. Showing it's age , room needed standard maintenance - Wallpaper peeling , sink cracked etc. Complementary breakfast good with waffles, eggs, bacon or sausage, friendly personnel....Just tiny rooms and needs updating.
"Bad Hotel"
My husband and I stayed in this hotel six years ago and had a good experience. We decided to book it again this year for our holiday stay since it is conveniently located near relatives. We honestly dreaded going back to our room. Two of the days we were there we got no maid service. I had to go to the front desk for towels which seemed to be an inconvenience […] to the staff. Plus, the towels overall we're dingy looking and one was out right not clean. I will be surprised if this hotel remains in business. It has not been kept up well. The carpet, the wall coverings, the lamp shades, and the thin, dingy sheets and towels were not a welcoming sight. Plus, the heater would blast us with way too hot heat and then we actually had to turn it off completely to get the room temperature to be moderately comfortable. Very, very disappointing holiday stay at this hotel. We will not be returning and won't recommend it to others. And, we did not find the front desk staff to be very welcoming or accommodating. The hotel staff was very nice when we checked in. Our first room was large and had a microwave and small fridge. However, although it was a nonsmoking room the room reeked of smoke. The bathroom was worse. It had the stench of sweat and the underside of the toilet seat was dirty or stained (I don't really know. I chose not to look closely.) When we […] requested another room we were met with disbelief, as if we would make this up to get another room. I am assuming we were punished for requesting another room because we ended up with a much smaller room. This room, however was clean, for us that was what mattered the most. I was expecting this hotel to be newer but is somewhat old, rooms need a little bit of improvement, maintenance, towels need to be replaced in some rooms. The employees were courteous and polite, I have nothing to say about the service, is the cleaninless and maintenance of the rooms.

We booked a room with 2 queen beds; the bathroom was spacious and the room was big enough for 4 kiddos and 2 adults. The beds were comfy and the year long open pool with jacuzzi were great. The breakfast included: coffee, 4 different kinds of juice, "school" size carton milk/chocolate milk, waffles, eggs, bacon, beans, hashbrowns/potatoes, tortillas, […] fruit, bagels, toast, and sweet bread. "It's okay...but just okay"
The hotel was close to the airport, which was convenient, however that's about it. Nothing really stood out to make me say "Wow!". The wi-fi was out during most of the time I was there which was inconvenient since I was ther on a business trip. The room was very tight on space except for the bathroom. The bathroom made up about 40% of the total space […] of the hotel room. There was enough space in the bathroom for a second toilet, and a second sink. I definately feel like I paid way more than the worth of the hotel. No complaints about the staff or the quality of service.
