Super dejligt ophold, og den bedste gæstfrihed man kan tænke sig... Beliggenheden lidt pussigt og ved en kæmpe hoved vej ude på "landet " , men trods ingen trafik, hvilket er perfekt, er der et dejligt nabo- skab.. - God køreafstand til Bl.a. Solvang, 30- 45 min. og skønne Vin- Farme i området Santa Ynez Valley - Selve stedet er et historisk hus, ældre af dato, der er flyttet 50 km. fra kysten til byen Los Alamos og er blevet ny renoveret med dets værelser i 5 fantasiske temaer... Pirat- Sigøjner- Roma - Egypten- Pirat og The 50´s værelset, Alle en fryd for øjet, og medejeren Tina, hvis mand har opbygget huset, mødte os med smil og viste os alle værelserne, da vi var nogle af de første der ankom. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen!! Kan varmt anbefales... Dixon :))

Store rummelige værelser og god standard af hotellet. God morgenmadsbuffet. Fin pool og jacuzzi.

Vi havde 2 gode overnatninger på dette hotel og var begge meget begejstret. Værelserne var store og alt var rent. Muligvis ikke super moderne, men rigtig hyggeligt. Hotellet ligger lidt uden for Santa Barbara's State Street, men det gjorde ingenting. Et stort og flot shopping center ligger lige ovre på den anden side ad gaden. Begge pools var gode og personalet var søde og meget hjælpsomme. Vi ville gerne bo her igen.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and everytime it is a great experience! It is the perfect location in solvang and the rooms are a great size!
"not much has changed"
We stayed here on the second night of our honeymoon 29 years ago. It is still quiet, rustic, friendly, homey and comfortable. I would smack around the housekeeping staff a little bit, as the rooms could be so much better with a little more attention to detail. Location is unbeatable. Really enjoyed our stay.

"Cosy - Best Hotel Of Our California Stay"
We managed to get a very large room upgrade I think because we're members of their 'Value Club' scheme. It was really cosy. I wish we'd stayed here longer. Fireplaces decked out for Halloween. Separate shower/bathroom and kitchen areas. Massive, comfy beds and a little balcony overlooking the swimming pool and hot tub. Service was professional and […] you could park right outside your front door. It was a very short walk into Solvang town centre from the hotel and there's a windmill viewable from most rooms, which gets you in the mood for the place. Breakfast in the morning was basic but excellent, with a wide range of Danish pastries (not surprisingly), juices, cereal and coffee. We had a great time here and this hotel was the best of our trip. Hotel staff friendly, hotel clean, comfortable, excellent location. Nice fireplace, clean, comfortable beds. Delicious local danish, coffee, oj for breakfast. I plan on going back.

This was the second time my husband and I stayed at this inn. The outside is adorable--fits in well with the Danish village theme. Our room last time was spacious, but this time we brought our two children and it was like having a suite for the price of a double room! There was a kitchen table in a separate area with a microwave, a roomy bathroom with […] an exterior vanity and seat, a fireplace and flatscreen TV. The beds were clean and comfortable, too. And we had a sliding glass door that led to the pool. Continental breakfast in the cozy, lodge-like lobby included a fresh-baked Danish from one of the amazing local bakeries--and they'll heat it for you! A great place to stay for a terrific price! "Great value hotel for a night or two stop over"
Very pleasant staff and clean hotel rooms. The hotel is located in the centre of Solvang so all the bars, tasting rooms and restaurants are within a stone throw.

Positives: Nice basic room with not a lot of frills at a good rate. Quiet location in downtown with easy walk to everything. Room had refrig and microwave, but I do not know if others did. Concrete building was quiet all night. Negatives: Bkfst was danish and bagels only, cereal would have been nice, and did not open till 7am on a weekday--very late […] for me! "King Suite Room"
The Room was well maintained and very spacious. Loved the Jacuzzi and pool. Hotel Staff was excellent. We have stayed in Solvang, CA in the past and found the room great for comfort and service. Can't wait to stay again.

"Overpiced Motel"
the only reason I picked that place is location. It's overpriced Motel - and as good as any motels. I was upset that my reservation was not held - I reserved one room with king size bed and one room with two beds, I got two rooms with two beds.
"Location is perfect"
It was a hotel room, nothing fancy, no smoking in any hotel in the area, so the room smelled fine. The room was clean, and was located on the east side of the motel by the parking lot. It was a perfect location to walk from when sightseeing all the Solvang delights, and the price was amazingly low for the area. I only had a problem with the title "America's […] #1 Hotel" or something similar, and it had a different name on the sigh, Okay, go to the last crossstreet eastbound through town. "A good choice"
Great access to Solvang and wine treking in Los Olivos nearby. Older furniture, but spacious room and VERY comfortable bed, makes the stay worthwhile. Front desk is courtious and efficient with pleasant breakfast service in the lobby. We'll be back.

"Search for Relaxation."
After spending 3 days in Disneyland my boyfriend and I where in desperate need of a good nights sleep and a calm environment. This was definitely it! The beds were amazingly comfortable, everything was in walking distance (huge plus when you have been stuck in the car for 4 hours!) The staff was great at answering questions and very polite. My only […] complaint would be that the pool and hot tub closed at 9pm. We didn't get there until 8:30pm so by the time we ate dinner we couldn't use the hot tub. Otherwise it is a great! Læs mere

"Nice hotel for the price"
Great location...right in the middle of Solvang so you can walk to anything around there. The pool area was really nice and clean. And the rooms were decent and clean as well. Only issues with the place is that the walls are SUPER thin. Luckily our side of the building was quiet...but when someone would enter their room right next door it sounded like […] they were coming into ours. My friends stayed on the other side and the people next to them were partying all night so they heard everything and weren't really able to get sleep. Also if you're looking for free breakfast this isnt the place. They just had danishes and bagels and the coffee wasnt really that good. But all in all the place is really good for the price. If u want thicker walls and better breakfast then you'll have to pay more somewhere else. Læs mere
"Very nice, but there's one thing..."
The hotel for the value was a terrific. Our stay was very pleasant. The rooms were clean...we especially liked the decor of the bathroom area with 2 (his & hers) separate sinks and a vanity. Our only disappointment was how difficult it was to enter and depart the the parking garage. "Beware of scratching the front of your car!"
"ABV-walking distance from Solvang Shops"
Quaint hotel at the edge of the shopping district of Solvang. Pool and jacuzzi just outside our sliding glass door/patio, accessible through a gate. Although the building is old, it is very well kept up and even has two sinks, refrig and microwave. The scenery in the area is beautiful!! "Great location and reasonable price."
The hotel is easy to find, easy to walk to downtown Solvang, has morning continental breakfast, and is makes you feel right at home. But in the best light, this hotel is "quaint". Don't fall for the pictures on the internet, you'll expect way too much. But if you look at it for the price paid, it's a good value.

This hotel is great, kind people, good neigbourhood, breakfast is very good, although the girl at the counter kan not smile at all, I think it will hurt to smile. But everything else is great.

We were "asked" if we want a bagel o\OR danish ?! coffee OR tea?!?! the only thing we could take ourselves was apple and jelly!! I would rather not even count on such breakfast!
