I would definitely go back. Large comfortable room, great breakfast, staff who made us feel very welcome, lounge area in the lobby with free coffees, teas, water, juice, newspapers and magazines! Only 600 metre walk to the old city and although on a main road, we couldn't hear any traffic in the room.

A good value with an easy walk to sights. Spacious and comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby was under renovation during our stay requiring entrance from the rear. Breakfast was not included in our rate, however there is a small cafe next to the hotel with good pastries.

Stayed 2 nights in March 2012 and was very happy with the hotel. Located across the street from Mirabell Gardens, and in easy walking distance of the Old Town. Also, an easy 10-15 minute walk from the main train station (hauptbahnhof). The rooms were comfortable and clean - nothing fancy, but a good value for the price.

Execellent location to the old city and the toured new city. The hotel staff were the best I've encountered in my 2 weeks trip in munich & tyrol area. For sure we'll be back. We're in our 50th age. Thank you.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay at an excellent hotel! Great location , great reception staff and a lovely city! Even the internet worked which is something that can't be said about most hotels!

Very sweet and charming hotel. The staff was very helpful and personable. The rooms were adorable and functional. I wouldn't stay any other place if I return to Salzburg.

central location, but hotel very disappointing, a double room was booked for myself and my daughter we were given a dreary drab tiny room with 2 single beds only one bedside light not what was advertised , i complained to no avail, they insisted it was a double room, yet the hotels website shows it as a single room so not worth the money I spent.. Great great location, 7 minutes by foot from train station, and equal to the old city and shopping. Super clean, great service, would highly recommend it. We'll be here again!

This hotel was unbelievably friendly and in an excellent location. The rooms were a little odd (my parents got this luxury suite right next to our room which was a long, skinny room), but were not cramped. The hotel desk was very helpful and easily communicated in English. I will stay here again.

This hotel is just about a 5 minute walk from the old town and the river. If you are arriving from the train station, its a great location because of its proximity to old town as well as the railway station (15 min walk). The room was economical but clean. My husband and I had a great 2 night stay at this hotel. We were very happy with the location (walking distance to both the central train station and to the old town plus right next to the Mirball gardens & palace) and our room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and spacious. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a free internal terminal, […] coffees and juices, and we have no complaints. I was happy to stay in this location and not in the old town, the walk to old town took less than 5 minutes and was a great excuse for a scenic stroll. We had 1 day in Salzburg. The hotel was centrally located and the staff was nice. No airconditioning and our room was on the front corner of the busiest street so lots of noise. Bathroom was clean. Room was sparce for a 4 star hotel in my opinion.

if you want a hotel near the old town and the gardens and only ten minutes walk from the train station and is cheap then go here. The room's are basic but the bed if comfy. it's by the main road but the city seems to go quiet after 9 pm. Noisey, double glazzing that leaks in as much sound as having the window open. Soiled matress protector, even took "Black Light" shots to prove it. No AC, super warm. Next to bus stop that runs 1am and then starts again around 4:30am, drunks walking past. 2 worst nights of our 3 week euro holiday were had here. Also tainted my view of Salzburg... woke […] up the 1st morning with weird tine bite marks all over the sides of my body that had been laying on the bed during the night, 2nd morning even more tiny bite marks. Flipped over the sheets to find a visably dirty matress protector. Brokeout my StreamLight multi-ops torch and put in UV mode, which reveiled and floresing collage of human borne coatings.... we even compalained about the noise on the first night, and they did nothing, night staff weren't empowered. Saw a different guy in the morning on the desk and asked what could be doen as we got zero sleep, he said he'd fix it and even said he knew that this room (211) was very noisey. We came back to hotel and he was no longer on the desk. We asked the new girl on the desk what the situation was and to have our new key, she then told us that we'd have to pay for an upgrade to a "comfort room"... Great location, very pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Farmers market on Thursdays only 2 blocks away and within walking distance to a variety of sites and events.

Hotel was very central and easy walk to markets. No teaa/coffee provided in rooms but free 24 access to hot drinks in foyer. However large notices reminded us very strongly not to take drinks to room, In snowy december that seemed unreasonable. Foyer was draughty and very few seats provided. We stayed at the hotel during October for a night, which happened to be snowing for the whole day. The hotel is centrally located between the train station and Old Town, with 10 minutes walk each way. The hotel staff were efficient and helpful during check-in and check-out. If you need to be centrally located, this is a good spot. If you need to have a charming experience then this is not the spot. It looks like a lot of tour buses bring their guests here. Great location, helpful staff. The room was a little hot and stuffy. Wonderful bakery round the corner for breakfast - best strudel in town. Internet access was daily and free - fast and effective cheap price made this a very worthwhile location to visit one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Older hotel but well-maintained. Bath was small but modern. Considerable street noise (our balcony room was on the 3rd floor). Nice lounge with coffee and juice 24/7. Staff was generally friendly and helpful. Good location just across the river from the old town; there are several other hotels in the same area. Convenient parking (for a charge).

I love the location of the hotel. It's quiet but very close to all major sights (within walking distance). We can even walk from the train station. The free expresso and juice is definitely a nice touch for us. It saved us a few euro every morning, plus the convenience of it.

This hotel is in a good location, if you don't have too much luggage (just a bag or so), then you could walk from the train station, it's also not very far from all the main sights, within about a 5-10 minute walk. Our intent was to spend most of our time sightsee Salzburg, we were hardly in our room. If you are from the U.S., then I would equate this hotel to the Quality Inn, Ramada Hotel, or Comfort Inn....but it's better than the Motel 6. Breakfast was not included in our rate, if you wanted breakfast it would be 15-euros, which we felt was too much money for breakfast. Right outside the hotel is a wonderful bakery/coffee cafe...we ate there for about 5-euros each (coffe & crossaint). If you need a decent place to stay at a decent price, but aren't looking for luxury, then this place is fine. We have stayed in Salzburg before and love the city. The hotel was in a very convenient location to the old town, shops, restaurants, etc. The room was quaint and small (we were on the top floor with sloping ceiling) but adequate for our needs. Lovely shower. Only problem was that there is no air conditioning and we had to keep the windows shut […] due to street noise (even on the 5th floor). This hotel had a lot of charm, and it was in a great location. An easy walk across the river to old town, right near the Mirabelle Gardens, and a ~10-15 minute walk to the train station. The location was great, but we had some very warm days. No airconditioning, so had to sleep with windows wide open. It was very noisy till early morning, not just traffic but groups of loud tourists!! No fans available either. Noisy with the window open, no air-con so a problem in warmer times. Free internet in reception and if you bring your laptop. Bus No.2 from airport stops outside hotel, as does every noisy bus it seems. It is directly opposite Mirabell Platz, the main park, and is convenient for getting to the Old Town via the bridge across the river.

Hotel is very central situated by the Mirabel park. Free internet and refreshment drinks in reception area. Friendly staff. Looks like some rooms are being refurbished. Hotel liegt sehr praktisch wenn mann mit der Bahn anreist. Unseres Zimmer hatte einen kleinen Balkon. Es war Gott sei dank nicht Heiß, weil sonst wäre nicht möglich mit offenen Fenster zu schlafen, es ist ziemlich Laut weil es auf der Hauptstrasse liegt, aber das wegen prima alles zu Fuß zu erreichen. Zimmer: Alte Möbel, kleine Zimmer, enges Bad Fazit: Kein ****, sondern bloss ein ***-Hotel dafür stimmt aber der Preis. Allgemein: Sehr gute Lage, sehr freundliches Personal Das Hotel kann ich gerne weiterempfehlen.

Positiv:Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.Man ist zu Fuß in ca.10 min. im Zentrum. Negativ:Zimmer liegen strassenseitig,daher Lärm. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein,durch eine Zwischentür mit dem Nebenzimmer verbunden.Von den Zimmernachbarn war jedes Wort zu verstehen,daher auch von da zu laut.Das Frühstück kostete 15 Euro pro Person-Selbstbedienung-Der Kaffee […] war schlecht.In der Umgebung gibt es aber Gute Bäckereien,wo man ab 3,70 Euro früstücken kann. Das Hotel liegt ideal für die Besichtigung der nahen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Altstadt zu Fuss schnell erreichbar. Ebenfalls Bushaltestelle in unmittelbarer nähe.

Det aller meste bra, men vinduet var lite og luftingen ikke tilstrekkelig i varmt vær.

Trivelig personale, stort og romslig rom. Dessverre fikk vi rom ut mot gaten, en del støy i løpet av natten, som ble et problem da det var for varmt å ha vinduet lukket. Ellers et OK rom for prisen.

ミラベル公園の前で、旧市街にも近く、観光には便利なロケーションでした。難点はお風呂の水はけが悪かったこと。流れるのにとても時間がかかりました。 ミラベル公園側の部屋は、南向きで明るいのは良いのですが、エアコンかないのでかなり暑い、窓を開けると車通りが多くてうるさい、といった問題がありました。ザルツブルクは普段は涼しいようですが、私たちが行ったときは街中の温度計が真昼には３７度を表示していました。夏に行く時は要注意です。

Hotellet ligger fint til, rett ved Mirabell Garten. ca 10 min gange til gamlebyen. Vi hadde et rom av eldre standard med en røykeim, men forsto at hotellet var under oppussing. Personalet var hyggelig, kjøpte frokostbuffet en dag, for veldig grei pris, ellers var det et bakeri rett rundt hjørnet.
