"A nice hotel with very rude staff"
The hotel itself was great - good location, very comfortable room, and a delicious breakfast buffet included -but we had a very bad experience with the staff. We had some friends who were going to stay with us for a few hours while they waited for their flight. When the staff found out, they told us we weren't allowed to have 4 people in a room - even […] though they had rooms with 2 queen beds. The manager told us that this was how it worked in the US as well - a boldface lie that was offensive to people who travel for work here in the US. Then he went so far as to force our friends to leave the hotel altogether. It was disappointing consider the hotel itself was quite pleasant. Læs mere
"NO YOUR TIPICAL RADISSON"
I know that may be is because latin America, If that is the reason; I did not feel that i was staying at the radisson, it felt like motel room in the states. totally outdated room that were as small as a hotel room gets. "Great Location, Impossible to sleep in"
The hotel was very conveniently located and all of the staff was very helpful and eager to please, so all of that was perfect. Sadly, the bathroom was in not very great shape, with mildew in the tub and chipped tile floors. I could easily overlook this, but the main issue was that the bed was so hard that we could barely sleep in it. We were exhausted […] after 5 weeks in South America and were thinking of relaxing in the hotel for several days, but we could not get more than 6 or 7 hours sleep in the bed simply because it was so uncomfortable. I have stayed in Radissons all over the world and this one was just not up to par. We ended up booking tours every day simply because we could not bare the thought of trying to spend any more time that we absolutely had to in that bed. I wish I could give this hotel a good review, but honestly, I can't recommend it unless you are a person who can sleep on concrete floors easily. Læs mere

"Hotel Radisson La Paz: un hotel sin mantenimiento"
Cuando llegamos al hotel, mi esposo y yo, nos asignaron una habitación del piso10 que parece sacado de película de terror de los años 50. Al entrar lo primero que vimos fue la cortina caída en un extremo, lo cual le daba una apariencia de descuido al hotel. Al tratar de prender una de las lamparas de mesa de noche, nos dimos cuenta que no era posible […] porque el sitio donde se debía conectar estaba totalmente destrozado. También notamos que el sifón del lavamanos y de la ducha estaban tapados y que el agua del lavamanos se filtraba por algun lado, formandose un gran charco en el baño. Al otro día comentamos sobre estos cinco daños y mostramos la extrañeza devencontrar esta situación tan deplorable en un hotel cinco estrellas. Enviaron unos técnicos que arreglaron todo, con mucha diligencia. Salimos por dos días del hotel y al volver, nos asignaron otra habitación del mismo piso 10, con los mismos problemas de la primera vez. Nos quejamos y nos asignaron otra habitación en el piso 11, esta remodelada, con Tv de plasma y no el cajon inmenso de la del piso 10, muebles modernos, tapete en buen estado, etc. Me queda una pregunta: el piso 10 del Hotel Radisson de La Paz, esta reservado para aquellos turistas que hacemos reservas por internet y que tienen precios mas favorables?
