You get what you pay for. I certainly got my money's worth at the Fairmont. Quality hotel with excellent service. Parking was $25/night, but allows you to come and go. It was a nice service and worth the cost especially if you are coming in late - adds a feeling of security. The hotel was only minutes from my conference.

The staff at this hotel is gracious and helpful. I made an error with my reservation, but the front desk rep took care of getting a room for me when I arrived at 2-ish. Unfortunately, the room I was assigned on the 10th floor of the south tower smelled like fish and I could hear the elevator going up and down right behind the bed's headboard. I asked […] to be moved and clearly explained why. I was moved to room 1126, also in the south tower. When I went to bed that evening, I could hear the noise of the elevator shaft loudly through the side wall. The bed was too soft and all of the pillows flattened out to nothing when I laid on them. I chose this hotel because of a terrific experience when I stayed there for business last year. On my own dime ($200+), I was hoping for the same. Very disappointed. I also chose this hotel for it's proximity to the Dallas Museum of Art-- fabulous. Læs mere

The Fairmont Dallas was absolutely gorgeous! Should I ever need to visit Dallas again, The Fairmont would be my number one choice.

Hotel was wonderful! I was there hosting an event. The staff was very accommodating. The room was beautiful. Just know that parking is $25 / night with in and out privileges and Internet is $13/24 hours. They authorize $100/ day for "incidentals" things travelers may wish to consider.

From the time we arrived we received excellent service from all staff. Everyone was courteous and efficient. Hotel location was ideal.

Hotel location was good but dont think the room was worth The Price. Apparently Someone Forgot To Tell Me The Hotel Was Having A College Fraternity Party. Loud All Night Long Slamming Closest, Doors, Screaming... Call The Front Desk 3 Times And That Was 2 Times To Many For Me. They Didnot Fix The problem

This is a great hotel. It is walking distance to museums, parks, and restaurants. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are beautiful. We ate at The Pyramid restaurant twice while we were there, and were very satisfied with our food. I highly recommend this hotel. It is a great value.

This was my first stay in the Fairmont and I enjoyed it. Very convenient location, good view, nice gym. I will definitely return.

The staff was polite, friendly, and on top of everything! Couldn't ask for better service. The cost of the hotel was a little steep, but overall, a great hotel!

We had a great night here after a concert downtown. We ordered room service the next morning and I could have had a 5 star dinner across the street at Stephen Pyles. It was a very weak $24 breakfast, cold eggs that were overcooked and toast you could use as a nail file.

Had a wonderful time at the Fairmont Dallas. Everyone was very accommodating and quick to respond to any and all requests. Our suite was huge and perfect for the small party I needed it for. The beds were comfy and the view was good as well. Will definitely stay here again!

It is a beautiful Hotel in downtown Dallas, but the rooms are not special at all. Beds are old and lumpy and we didn't sleep at all. The best thing about the hotel was the pool, it was very peaceful. Overall it is not worth the price, there are to many other great hotels to waste you time here.

We had a great stay. $25 for parking is a little high, considering our car was only parked there from 7pm-8am. The hotel is close to Uptown, good food, bars, night-life, etc.

Most everything was wonderful, the rooms are clean and luxurious, and the hotel services were efficient. No hot tub :( for as much as I paid a night and a sweet pool, why the heck is there no hot tub? Who doesn't have hot tubs anymore? Motel 6 has hot tubs and they charge way less a night... Also the digital cable constantly froze up... I mean like […] every 5 minutes. Not a big problem during the day because I was out and about but tv and hot tub at night would be enjoyable. Læs mere

We have stayed in this hotel several times, and everyone we come in contact with treats us like royalty. Everything is always perfect, and it is within walking distance of the Art Museum, Science Museum, Sculpture Gardens, Symphony, and Ballet, and Aquarium.

I loved the view. We were on the 23rd floor. Beautiful. Wonderful bar in the lobby. Wonderful location. Valet were fast in bringing my car back. Just an all around great weekend.

The service at this hotel is 5 star! The room was clean, comfortable and we had a fab view of downtown Dallas! The workout room was great and the atmosphere felt like the best of Dallas, TX. Our hotels.com price was good but there were not many amenities such as a morning coffee or danish, there is a Starbucks downstairs. BUT the Pyramid restaurant […] was the worst food I have had in a long time! Just awful, my partner ordered a prime rib which was way too fatty and over salted. My scallops were so bland and smelt old. We did like the location, it is close to the art museums. We would stay here again, but not eat in the restaurant. We are glad we didn't pay to upgrade to the conceirge service, which would have included a very expensive breakfast. IF the dinner was any indication, a forty dollar breakfast for two would have been a huge waste of money. Læs mere

Excellent service. Very competent and friendly staff. Valet parking is prone to delays because of the limited area in front so allow extra time to get your car in peak periods.

Loved the hotel and the room was nice . My only comment is :we had a suite right next to the elevators and all night long you hear the elevators going up and down. They could have done a better job of sound proofing the room that was next to the elevator. Other than that it was great.

My wife and I needed some long overdue time away and although I had looked at a good handful of other hotels I am very pleased with my choice of the Fairmont! We stayed in 1907 as part of the Gold plan and I can say it's definitely worth the extra money. Not only was the room and view very nice, with a relaxing shower big enough for two and a plush […] bed, but the breakfast in the lounge is amazing! also with the options for snacks throughout the day it saved from having to go out to eat for all the meals. Staff was very helpful and nice and I felt very served which I wasn't used to so it was a nice change. Only downsides I would say is my wife and I were used to memory foam mattress and pillows and so the bed, even though it was nice, kind of messed us up because it was so plush and not firm like we're used to. The pillows were very soft and it messed up my neck a little, but just because I'm used to the stiff contoured pillows. Also, I don't have their website in front of me, but when I signed up I could have sworn I saw they had a heated pool, but they don't so that was kind of a bummer as I was looking forward to swimming. And the room also didn't have very many power outlets so that was slightly inconveniencing but not a huge deal. overall though a memorable experience and if I ever get the chance again I will definitely be staying there again! First off the rooms are huge! The bathrooms are ok size. The bed is a real king not like other places that say king but it's a queen. Every thing looks very nice, nothing likes old. Now for the bad... DoNOT valet, at $25 a night it's out priced, but not only that but when I was leaving to go get my flight I had to wait over 45 mins for my car, which […] was half a block down the street, I asked if I could go get it and they said no. So I almost missed my flight, I had to run at the airport! But the front desk helped me, a girl named Michelle, helped me jump the line to get out of there, I know people were there for over a hr for there cars.... Læs mere

The good: great staff/service; room in great shape; great restaurant on site. The not-so-good: serious elevator noise throughout the floor; fitness center could use some maintainence; location kind of in the middle of nothing.
