My friend and I stayed here and it was great! They offer a complimentary full breakfast buffet. I booked one night online at hotels.com and then added another night by calling the hotel. I expected to have complications at check-in because I had to prepay for the first reservation, but not the 2nd one. I had two different confirmation #'s, etc. There […] was NO trouble at all upon check-in. The desk staff were knowledgeable and very courteous. Good over all. But a couple of minor issues. 1. Description says Sleep number beds in every room but we had regular mattress. 2. Breakfast was free. But the yogurt was past the best by date and they only had the one with artificial sweeteners.

The hotel looked like it had been renovated, but there were still were still a lot of details that were either not done yet or done very poorly. The pool looked disgusting, but had a sign that it was being redone March 2013. Other than that, I had a good stay. Nice beds, cool decor, a little far from downtown.

All I originally booked for the week but had to leave after one day because it was so loud. Every hour I could hear the people above me stomp across the floor to use the bathroom. I could hear people slamming doors all night and into the early morning. I had to sleep with ear plugs. It kinda smelled funny also.

In the middle of remodeling, so lobby & hallways a mess. Fumes in the corridor. My comfort bed control didn't work. Door in bathroom is awkward. Said they had a hot buffet; they don't, it's cereal & toast.

I enjoy my stay a the hotel all except for the comfort of the bed, THE SLEEP NUMBER BED is not comfortable in any position. I don't recomend any one to sleep on this type of bed. Dave,

The hotel was under construction when we were there. The hallways were is pretty bad shape but the bedrooms were gorgeous. Obviously they'd already remodeled those. But the prices were adjusted for it so it was ok. The beds were very comfy with nice thick comforters and the design of everything was really cool. They also had a sweet indoor pool in jacuzzi. […] I didn't feel dirty sitting in it like I do at most places. It's going to be great when all the renovations are finished. I would definitely stay at this place again. It was about a 15 minute drive to downtown but parking in Madison is easy so it was no big deal. Læs mere

Very nice time. The staff was friendly even thought many were working long hours due to the 20 inch snow storm we received that day. Despite being there and them havig to stay they were the best. Ice making machine did not work. TV had only a handful of stations that worked. Lots of remodeling going on. Drinking glass in room was dirty. Complimentary breakfast was pretty good. Bed was comfortable.

We had troubles right from the start. The front desk clerk didn't seem to understand that the room was prepaid for by Hotels.com. It caused a situation that made us wait for 20 minutes. Their credit card machine wasn't working properly causing even more issues. We went to the bar to get a drink before we went out for the evening and could not find a […] bartender. We waited for 15 minutes and someone told us they would be back to help us but never returned. Clearly the hotel is being renovated which it needs desperately. There were piles of floor tile in the hallway and bags of concrete. On a positive note the TV did work but that was about the only positive. Læs mere

This place is old, my toilet did not flush, the remote for the TV did not work. The sleep number beds are nice and the breakfast buffet was decent, nothing spectacular.

I recommend this hotel except make sure you don't get the room right next to the stairwell/entry door. You can hear the door slamming and people goin up and down the stairs. Woke us up several times through the night. The front desk said it was a great room...really sold it! My wife and I stayed in Madison for one night on a Badger game weekend. We had a room with a queen sleep number bed. The bed was not comfortable. No matter how we adjusted the bed, we could not get it comfortable. Either you felt like you are laying on top of a hard balloon, or you sank down and it felt like an old waterbed. I just don't get the appeal […] of these sleep number beds and I have never had a good night's sleep on one. Also, the hotel is cheaply build. The walls and floors are very thin. You can clearly hear people in adjacent rooms washing up in the bathroom, or moving around on their squeaky beds.The doors to the hallway also allow in quite a lot of noise and do not seal well. On the bright side, the room was well furnished and nicely decorated. It did not look cheap. The bathroom was particularly large and well decorated. The free hot breakfast was ok but not great. Scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, and frozen waffles were the only HOT items and they were only luke warm. This hotel was very average and not any better than dozens of cheaper $100 motels in the area. We paid a hefty premium to stay here. This is not what I expected from a Radisson. Læs mere

The main reason we stayed there was for the shuttle service to the football game. You had to sign up for it at 7am the day of the shuttle service. I got there at 6:30 a.m. At 7am. a woman ahead of me signed up for 14 spots of the 15 spots available for the 1st shuttle to the stadium. I needed only 2 for my nephew and I. They should have a rule that […] you can only sign up for the max of 2 spots per person in line. Or, better yet, they should have 2 shuttles for the popular time. Læs mere

We have stayed in a lot of Radisson Hotels and this was not a typical experience of a Radisson property. The Hotel is 2 floors, our room had a very cold draft coming in from the bottom of the window, there was an empty corner where a chair and ottoman should have been (our friends had this in the corner of their room), the only chair was a desk chair. […] The walls were all torn apart underneath the vanity. The room was nice, except we did not have an information book to refer to. When we called the front desk to ask about a washer and dryer available the girl that answered the phone did not even know what we were talking about. But overall a very nice hotel and friendly staff. We would stay again.

The sleep number bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows and easy chair that was also in the room. The hotel was quiet and the breakfast they served was very good - a nice variety of food. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean. The hotel is located near shopping and restaurants and right off the Beltline.

I was very satisfied with the accomodations and service. It was a little farther off the beaten path than I expected, but not terrible. It was the best nights sleep in three days. The sleep number beds are the best. The breakfast was good and hot. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff was not very friendy.Walls in room were paper thin and other guests from other rooms were very noisy thruout night.wallpaper was missing from some of the walls of our room and the end tables were old and our room smelled moldy.our tv in our room did not work properly.And our ceiling was also paper thin and i could hear every step the people on […] on the above floor made.When i checked out i told the front desk lady of my problems and she did not respond.I even said i would not stay at their hotel again. Great location and ideal for those who want to be on the west side of Madison. While the hotel is older, it is well kept and the staff were friendly and responsive. The breakfast was delicious and had a nice variety. I would definitely stay there again!

When I checked in, helpful staff at front desk noted that the hotel was under renovation, and that my room was one which had recently been renovated. I was assured that there would be no construction noise in my part of the hotel. The room was attractive, clean, and well appointed. Although it was very close to the pool , there was no musty smell-a […] problem observed on a previous visit to this hotel. Toiletries and in-room coffee service have been upgraded (loofah is a nice touch!). The room was, indeed , quiet. Bed linens have also been upgraded. My only complaint is that the mattresses were , to my taste, uncomfortably hard. The mattress was so hard that I woke several times in the night, saddened that this room did not appear to have the advertised "Sleep Number Beds" so that I could adjust the firmness! Very dated hotel. Bathroom sink in the bedroom area - hard for any couple or family that sleeps/gets up at different times to be comfortable.

Hotel was OK. Convenient location but a bit worn. New sleep number bed was comfortable. Coffee pot in room didn't work and lack of a microwave in either room or breakfast area was a minus for someone trying to prepare an early breakfast.

I find a comfortable bed and room to be the most satisfying part of staying in a hotel and this was one of the worst experiences ever! I dont know if we got an old sleep number bed, but the side that I layed on was deflated and sooooooo uncomfortable. The air conditioning in the room was bad as well and didn't work well and was loud the whole night. […] It was a clean room, but that didn't matter since I woke up with red bleary eyes the next day. The hotel had just started some renovations that they said would be ongoing for a year. However everything was clean and no noise problems. Room was nice a little smaller than some, would have liked microwave and fridge. Free hot breakfast was very good lots of choices. Large pool area

The hotel is under construction and the room had a portion that was stripped. There was a big bug in the bathroom that god knows where that came from. The hotel was filled with soccer tournament girls and was noisy all night. Foot steps could be heard overhead in the middle of the night.

The hotel was under construction and was a mess. The staff was very good and gave us a credit to use in the restaurant due to the construction. They up graded our room to a suite but it was so outdated and a mess. The stay was only for 1 night so we just went with it if the stay would have been longer would have looked for another location.
